Reset iPhone (4 s) erases everything?

I want to just make sure that it is the only step to do before my iPhone 4S on someone else. Are there any other measure necessary? All stored information will be completely erased, right? Of course, I remove the sim card. Thank you very much.

    Do not erase everything on your phone under the procedure of release.  If you have your phone set to backup Contacts on iCloud, they will be saved and then can be later reloaded on your phone after erasing it.  I just got two iPhone 5 and it worked well.  Also to do a full backup to your computer via iTunes and transfer everything what is not already saved if you are asked.  The only problem I encountered was that some applications does not and I had to manually reinstall the.

  • I have my 5 factory reset iPhone, now I can't set up my iPhone because it must be enabled, and I don't have a sim card. Can someone help me please?

    I have my 5 factory reset iPhone, now I can't set up my iPhone because it must be enabled, and I don't have a sim card to make. Is there a way I can install and use my iPhone without needing to be activated? Can someone help me please?

    To skip the activation of sim card, you can use iTunes if you have a CDMA iPhone. However, if you have a GSM model you will need to insert a sim card to activate your iPhone (it can even be used/inactive). Here is an article that will help you determine if your iPhone is GSM or CDMA: http://osxdaily.com/2012/11/15/determine-iphone-gsm-or-cdma/

  • Problem I had after having erased everything on my MacBook

    I recently got a new PC, so I decided to give my old MacBook mid 2010 to my friend who doesn't have a computer. I wanted to get rid of all my files on it first, so I rebooted and pressed command and R together to access the start menu. I clicked on the disk utility and erased everything on my computer. I brought back to his house and tried to go through the usual steps of installation of Mac OS X, I received a notification that says "cannot find installation for this machine information. Please contact Apple care. "What this means and what should we do?

    I think when you did what you did you accidentally got rif in the history of mac os x. so I contact apple and have them checked

    How can I completely erase everything off of my computer's memory?

    You mean a clean to factory settings install; as in the way in which you bought it.

    Read the info below:

    Vista recovery media obtain and/or use the Partition Recovery Vista on your computer to the factory settings .

    There is no Vista free download legal available.

    Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.

    Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.
    See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.
    Normally, you have to press F10 or F11 at startup to start the recovery process...
    Another way I've seen on some models is press F8 and go to a list of startup options, and launch a recovery of standards of plant with it, by selecting the repair option.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Also ask them if it is possible to do the recovery disk/s for the recovery Partition in case of a system Crash or hard drive failure.

    They will tell you how to do this.

    Every computer manufacturer has their own way of making recovery disk/s.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Or borrow a good Microsoft Vista DVD (not Dell, HP, etc).
    A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
    The product key determines which version of Vista is installed.
    There are 2 disks of Vista: one for 32-bit operating system, and one for 64-bit operating system.
    If install a cleaning is required with a good DVD of Vista (not HP, Dell recovery disks):
    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu
  • My iPad is not visible for my iPhone via Bluetooth 6 and won't connect, I tried to reset the network configuration, erase and reset iPad, hard reboot. My Apple Watch is connected to my iPhone. It is visible for my Samsung phone.
    My iPad with Retina display (wi - fi model) to pair it with my iPhone 6 + Bluetooth is no longer visible to my iPhone and will not pair. I have reset settings network, restart hard iPad, iPad are erased and recondition. The iPad is visible and pairs perfectly with my Samsung Galaxy S, no issues what so ever. That's happened? My Apple Watch, which is paired with my iPhone interferes with the matching to the iPhone iPad? The iPad pairs with my MacBook.
    You can only pair two Bluetooth to attach only apple devices.
  • Can I reset or erase everything back to the original of the condition of the box?
    I'm running an insperon 1545 Dell w / OS;  32-bit Vista SP2 and IE 8 with Analyzer FREE Avast Antivirus and firewall of Defender.  is the free Avast AV said, some say that the free trial versions do not work as well as others.
    I was wondering if I can put everything back to their original state because I have some annoying problem on my system.  All the 20 min or so appears a window without normal borders, there is no tab at the top of the window with the Red Cross to close the window if alt F4 closes the window, it always reappears later.  The window shows "(i) this program can't display this webpage".  I was hoping that it could fix this glitch.
    I recommend the version of Avast FREE to my customers:
    http://www.avast.com/eng/download-avast-home.html
    Avast anti-virus is XP, Vista and Windows 7 compatible (32-bit and 64-bit Versions), FREE, auto update and a user of low resources from your computer.
    And, don't have 1 (one) anti-virus installed / running on your computer at any time.
    Conflicts, crash and freezing may occur if you have more than 1 (one).
    And for an Anti-Malware program.
    Malwarebytes is as its name suggests, a Malware Remover!
    Download the free Version from the link above.
    Download, install, upgrade and scan once a fortnight.
  • Reset iPhone
    My iPhone Plus 6 is currently immune to the touch and will not do anything other than to wake up when you click the home button or lock. I need to reset and disable find my iPhone and everything what I can do with my Mac. Unfortunately, when I connect my phone to my mac, it asks me to 'Trust' on my mac with my phone but I can't click trust because the screen does not work. Is anyway to move after having to trust my computer so that I can reset the phone?
    If the phone is connected to the internet, then you should be able to connect to www.icloud.com and delete the device from there. See this support document for instructions. If you have forgotten the password for your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch, or your device is disabled - Apple supports  Use the section on erasing your phone using iCloud.
  • Had to reset, tried to cancel, lost everything
    I had problems with a virus so I reset Firefox to its default values. This does not solve the problem, so I thought cancel reset and return to the settings that I got it to start. By following the instructions on how to do it, I have copy pasted everything in the "Old Firefox Data" folder on my desktop (which was supposed to be there due to reset right?). The only problem is that I apparently reset it before some time last year and the 'Old Firefox Data' folder on my desktop had only the data of the last year, the recent no reset. So all my favorites and extensions and settings and all are put back to the way they were last year, which means I lost EVERYTHING up here. I can't find a folder 'Old data Firefox' school which was supposed to happen with the new reset and I can't find anything with my original settings. Is there a way I can undo this? (I got a LOT of bookmarks that I'll probably never find. I NEED undo it.)
    Is there only one profile to where Firefox stores the profiles?
    • C:\Users\ < user > < profile > \AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\.
    If you have restored all the data of a very old profile about a year ago, so I'm afraid that your data is probably missing.
    If you copied your personal data on this file and then you can have backups JSON in the bookmarkbackups folder if the reset had preserved those, so you can review it to see if there are still a few.
    However, it is possible that Firefox has erased those if this number has exceeded the maximum value specified in the browser.bookmarks.max_backups preference.
    You can also check if Windows still has snapshots of records.
  • About to sell the iPhone 5, I did everything well?
    Hello
    This will especially be rhetorical, but I want to assure you that I did everything what I need to do to sell my old iPhone 5.  I went through the lists & steps, but in my ultimate wisdom, I can't have done everything right.
    I have disconnected iCloud and off find my phone, then I removed all applications except the standard ones via iTunes. While it is synced with iTunes, I reset and factory.  However, I did not stage the erasure, thinking that the restoration would do this.  When I turn it on, it's like a new phone. It would be nice to sell?
    Yes, another reminder to practice patience, I know.
    Thanks for your help.
    Greg
    You rested the entire phone then all is good
  • I need to remove iCloud since a reset iPhone 4 without sim and no password
    Hi, as above, I'm trying to sell old iphone my husband 4.
    His brother used for awhile waiting for an upgrade and left her icloud there.
    Helpfully, he don't remember the password, and we don't talk to him, so it is impossible to get the password reset e-mail.
    I managed to somehow erase the phone off with the 'reset all data and settings option' - I think I followed the advice online and I did somehow via itunes.
    I thought the phone was clear but when I took it to sell they showed me the icloud account is still there.
    Is there a way to remove it?
    The phone is now in a State of reset, but still has the account linked to her icloud.  To make things worse I have also no SIM which is compatible with the handset so I can't even through the implementation of process...  The furthest I can get connects to the wifi...
    I would be very grateful for any help!
    Thank you.
    Lou Thompson wrote:
    Without the password for the Apple ID to which it is locked, there is no way for you to remove it.
    If you have proof of original purchase to Apple or an authorized reseller (e.g., your operator), you should be able to pick up the phone to Apple and ask them to reset it.
