Reset of Gracenote Media changes

In the music app, I tried using the Garcenote 'Download music Info' a couple of times. With my huge mp3 (about 3 k files) library, it takes some time to complete the task. I noticed when I reset or fix my phone that all these changes are reset to zero, so the data are not written in each mp3 file ID and seems to be stored locally on the phone memory. My questions are:

-Are there a way to reset these changes on all media without discount to zero/fix? Clear cache music app is not the case.

Y is there a way to reset some changes to SELECTED media and not the rest? Gracenote mess a few news media especially for the Arabic songs.

I tested here, and it seems that the info is stored in the media Android store, so you can delete it from settings-> Apps-> all-> storage media-> clear data-> OK. Then restart the phone do rescan your media.

But I don't know if this will help you if you select the option to replace existing data when you download music info.

I don't know of anyway to reset only for some media, I'm afraid.

  • I can't reset or refresh my Windows 8. When I try the message appears: THERE WAS A PROBLEM RESET YOUR PC, NO CHANGES have BEEN MADE.

I bought my PC about year ago. I have windows 8 installed from the beginning. Right after the purchase, I was told by the shop assistant to reset my Windows, so I did as Fallows: parameters - parameters Change PC - general - all remove and reinstall Windows---> who he was. It went ok, no problem, no need to insert additional disks (which I did not at the time of the purchase, by the way - saleswoman told me that recovery of windows, the files are already on the hard drive).  so now after 1 year I am planing to reset or at least update my PC again... but I IMPOSSIBLE. Whenever I try to do the same procedure as described above, I got this message: THERE WAS A PROBLEM RESET YOUR PC, NO CHANGES have BEEN MADE. and that's it!. I have absolutely no idea why. I restore the previous settings of Windows work, with the hope that it will help, but it didn't. Still can not reset my Windows. Anyone have this problem too, or if she had.

I have attached the picture with this message for a better understanding

Yes, I bought my PC (Dell) with 8 Windows preinstalled, I was just curious to know if there is a way to extract the product key for the version pre-installed (just in case). Thanks for the support, I will try your method "to create installation for Windows 8 media. But the real question is why I get this message when I try to reset the system "There WAS a PROBLEM of RESET YOUR PC, SUBI NO change".

See here to prepare a Windows 8.1 with update 1 USB Bootable for installing with a UEFI BIOS from Dell:

    http://dellwindowsreinstallationguide.com/download-Microsoft-Windows-and-Office/Download-Microsoft-Windows/download-Windows-8-1-retail-and-OEM-ISO/

Make sure that you select the correct edition.

If your system does not on Windows 8.0 updated the BIOS with the latest version before using the installation media:

    http://dellwindowsreinstallationguide.com/updating-the-BIOS/

The latest version of the BIOS can have improvements that will help the 8.1 Windows to run more easily.

As you know Windows 8.0 Windows 8.1, I recommend a new installation of Windows 8.1 opposed to reset:

    http://dellwindowsreinstallationguide.com/a-clean-install-of-Windows/a-clean-install-of-Windows-8-1/Windows-8-1-installation/

You can follow the optional procedures to wipe the drive before installing Windows 8.1:

    http://dellwindowsreinstallationguide.com/cleaning-up-a-drive-format-vs-secure-wipe-SSD-and-HDD/

Once you have installed Windows 8.1, install all drivers needed Dell system in good order:

    http://dellwindowsreinstallationguide.com/downloading-drivers-checking-hardware-IDs-and-downloading-and-installing-Dell-system-drivers-in-the-correct-order/driver-installation/

After that, you can install the latest version of Dell backup and restore:

    http://downloads.Dell.com/FOLDER02909509M/1/Backup-and-Recovery_Application_64M9D_WN32_1.8.1.71_A00.exe

This will make a new internal recovery Partition which is Windows 8.1 with update 1 and not Windows 8.0. You can then do a backup and Dell recovery media if you wish:

  • How to reset the windows media player 12 default settings

Original title: how to reset the windows media player 12 default settings

My Windows media Player 12 has stopped play all the sounds (Win 7 HP 64 bit) - I can play sounds with Windows media Center, DIVX, etc. of Winamp, but not with Win Media Player. I would like to reset Windows Media Player 12 to its default state, either by doing a reset or reinstall. Can someone tell me how to do what you please?

Do these two steps [they are the closest thing possible to uninstall then reinstall WMP & will actually provide a new installation of WMP]

1 unload WMP - Panel, programs and features, [left] turn on or off has Windows, multimedia features, clear box Windows Media Player, Yes, OK, restart the PC.

2 reload WMP - Panel, programs and features, [left] turn Windows features on or off, multimedia features, set the Windows Media Player box, Yes, OK, restart the PC.

  • Satellite L655-16F - Factory reset using Recovery Media discs

OK so I'll try to reset my Toshiba Satellite L655-16th back to factory settings, then he started giving me the out of memory error message, but I don't have that drives it asked me to do when I got the laptop, so when I do the F8 all start up and go to the screen with the Toshiba HDD recovery resetting thing and click on it It gives me this error message:

    * HDDRecoGUI *.
    Operating system recovery is impossible!
Not found the HDD Recovery folder on the second disc of the first hard drive.
There is no valid disk HARD recovery environment on this computer.

I tried various different things; Press 0 - which gave me a screen asking you what operating system, I wanted to use (there is only Windows 7) then just continued to load as usual. Put the first disc in and restart my laptop (which I have pretty well every time anyway) - which did nothing. etc.
So yes, is there a way to create the file from HARD drive of mystery I need the disks, or maybe another way to use the disks that I have not already tried?

    > Not found HDD Recovery folder on the second disc of the first hard drive.
    > There is no valid disk HARD recovery environment on this computer.
This message appears if you have deleted the recovery image or changed the structure of the partitions on the HARD disk.

If you have created disk or recovery disk that you can install the recovery using the recovery DVD image.

Start your laptop and meadows F12 repeatedly to enter the boot menu.
Place the recovery disc into the optical disc drive.
In the menu choose the CD/DVD drive.
    Press ENTER.
Follow the menu on the screen.

  • Play the count resets in Windows Media Player

    Original title: play account

    Hello

Just to note, I saw the original post and the solution and it worked for me I posted, but got no answer.

It's here: when I use Windows Media Player (Windows 7), sometimes the game count is based. Listening to songs that have 5 or less seem to loose all play the County. Songs with more than 5 look seem five loose look. And there are a handful of random songs that retain some play account with less than 5 plays and the game number is reduced, but it still has County. Regardless of the type of music file (mp3 etc.).

No matter what I do on my computer when it resets except wen I close the media player. Sometimes it clears if I just close and reopen, sometimes it isn't. If I close and restart the computer, it may or may not wipe the game number. Once when my computer turns off by itself it wipe the County game files.

How can I keep my game count files?

    Thank you

  • Problem of art Media Go and album

I was hoping that someone could help me solve this problem please. It is minor, but is annoying me at the back of my mind.

Due to some kind of problem with Gracenote, he gave an album a wrong cover in the list of song/album on Media Go (the album has has the name of another album released previously by the same band). Although individually, each song has the correct album art in its audio properties, the album art next to the album of songs on the media group go browser is incorrect.

Is it possible to change/reset this via Media Go or remove something somewhere in the application data files? I tried 'Illustrations of Album Get' and 'Get missing properties' several times.

    Windows XP (latest updates)

Media Go 2.5 has (Build 299)

Here is a picture of the number.

I managed to solve this . I had to delete the file 'artwork.db' in 'C:\Documents and Data Data\Sony\Media GB'. This will cause in turn Media Go recreate the file and recache all works of art for my albums.

    Very happy now.

  • iTunes Media folder TimeCapsule

    Hi all

I know that this has been discussed already, especially on this post: Re: iTunes media folder resets is closed.

I'm in the same exact situation, I moved my iTunes Media folder on my TC since space is a rare thing on a MacBook air... Now almost every time I open iTunes I have to manually change the media folder location that has changed the default location. It's really annoying...

At first I put it on an external hard drive connected to the TC, but he was far too slow. Now directly on the TC, it's fast enough. I backup my media folder automatically on the external hard drive via a synchronization software.

If I understand the above post, it's not ideal, and the best place to put the media folder remotely is an external HD connected directly to the mac. Which is a little stupid for a MacBook air...

So my question is, what is the best configuration for avoid me the reset of the media folder, and store multimedia files on the network, or the TC?

    Thank you

    Hello

    ·         Were there any changes made to the computer until the problem started?

Check if there is information in Event Viewer which may help us to solve the problem:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/what-information-appears-in-event-logs-Event-Viewer

    Step 1:

You can configure the computer to clean the start State and check if a third party application is in conflict with the application. To configure the computer to clean boot state follow the link below.

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

Note: When you are finished troubleshooting, follow step 7 article to start on normal startup.

    Step 2:

Also, try to reset the Windows Media Player library and check if that helps.

    (a) click Start, type services.msc in the search field and press ENTER. In Services, locate the Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service . If its status is started , double-click the service, and then click stop .

    (b) click Start, type %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft in the search field and press ENTER. This folder opens in Windows Explorer.

    (c) in this folder, rename the folder Media Player as Old Media Player . If you do not see the folder, then it is probably hidden. Set Explorer to view the hidden files and folders and show protected system files.

    (d) start WMP, your library will have been reset and will be rebuilt. Check if the problem persists.

    Hope this information is useful.
