    Hello

While using the Auto print module duplex printing on both sides of the product page must let the ink dry before printing on the other side.

You can turn it off by going to the screen printing and setting preferences in print on both sides as zero, which should prevent this behavior of duplex printing.

  • Ink advantage 1518: first and second impression is poor third better every time

For a month, whenever I print a simple text, the first and second copies are of poor quality.  Black ink is faded up or down the page.  Sometimes the second copy is better, but the third copy is fine.  This happens again and again. I took the cartridge HP HP678 and shaken it, but the problem persists.  I lose a lot of paper.

    Any advice?

    Thanks, Stephen

I'm not familiar with your printer model, but looking at the photos of the cartridges on eBay that looks like they are of the type that is a cartridge with a built-in print head.

So the next time you need to print instead of print spend by the movements as you would replace a cartridge which, on most printers, I work with you would just open the top cover.

Remove the black print cartridge and inspect the nozzles, they seem like they have a layer of ink dried on them, then pat dry the nozzles on a wet paper towel folded several thick layers. Blotteded several times after I insert the cartridge and try to print if you get good quality, this means that the head is dry or the wiper cleaning in the gas station is dirty and is wiping the ink dried on the head, clogging of the nozzles.

Printheads in good condition will give you two solid black when erased ink lines. Or should I say on all the models that I worked and that's what the black print head made the color print head is a little different.

  • OfficeJet 7500 a: ink not dry on paper – could be put media but not sure one to use

    Hello

This is my first post so I hope I put this in the right place.

I use my 7500 for attempt to print pages for my stamp album, but because the paper is slightly glossy ink not drying. The media type is defined as paper, I think this may be the cause, but what should I set the media type?

He has a kind of matte shine to him, it is nowhere near as bright as paper photo but must be lightly coated.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Yes after playing found this description as the media type "Brochure and reducing ink drying time slider as much left as possible has solved the problem."

  • Printer cannot print black ink

We have HP Photosmart B110 series - just moved pc and printer from one room to the other and when he came again to print the printer does not print black ink.  The cartridges are fairly new, and we did not use a printer, so I don't know that the black ink is not low at all, and the pc shows only a fraction of the black ink used.  The pc and the printer are not defects, it prints fine in other colors.  Went to the diagnosis of HP's utility and the printer came with all green ticks, but the test page printed came in white.

Cannot make the step "Uninstall" I have lost the cd to reinstall the software.

Baffled.  Can someone help me please?

I watched several blogs on the site of HP, which concerned problems similar to mine.  I have combined several approaches and now have a printer that works properly.  I removed the print head and it soaked for three cycles of 5 minutes in distilled water (~ 170) about 3/4 inch deep with continuous slight stirring.  First soaking quickly became the black water, the second ended with the water a dark gray color, but the third rinse was almost obvious.  Hot distilled water dissolve the ink dried in the passages of the small ink contained in the part of ejection of ink from the print head cartridges.  I then carefully dried the print head as instructed, clean the electrical contacts on the printer and placed the print head and ink cartridges in the printer.  I turned off the printer, then unplugged it for a minute.  I have the plugged in and turned on, allowing it to print an alignment sheet.  Because the water remained in the corridors of the ink, the sheet had empty spaces, but a sheet of test house which has small samples of many points of color and the words in the color of each word was then printed with very good results.  The printer has now worked perfectly for a week.

  • Photosmart 5515 does no black ink print

Not printing in black at all.  Full set of new ink cartridges.  Warranty is just exhausted.

    I've tried everything here

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c03425035

like everyone else I had read had this problem. No change.

    Any help out there?

    Seem to have solved.

It was a clogged print head - probably due to the ink drying during the period of non-use.  Cleaning process all waste ink without much effect.

Print head is not removable so manual cleaning is tricky.  Just wipe the filter did nothing.

At the end of the day, slipped a piece of kitchen under the print head roll (it has a Groove where it will adapt and you roll the head top) folded.

Removed the rubber around the offending ink filter washer.

Slipped a long and tight fitting top pen top instead (felt tip seems best - but open at both ends, one tube, is what it takes, and it must be a tight fit).

Refill pen with mouthwash (appropriate cleaning fluids are available, alcohol is the key it seems).

Breath down on pen force the liquid through the printhead on paper towel.

Printed later, but took a few prints to become completely clear.  It is time that clean the printhead automated may operate.

  • 1050 all-in-One printer - J410: unused ink for awhile

    Hello everyone,
    I use 22xl ink cartridges.
I have not used it for a few months.
Now, it does not print at all, although both cartridges indicate almost full (it looks like the dried ink or almost).
I get no error when printing.

So is it possible that I can restore State cartridge?

    Thank you
    Salah

    Hi salah.

Do not use the cartridges several months likely to cause print quality problems and think about cloggs due the ink dries.

You can try to perform a cleaning Cycle and check if this may help:

    1. Open the software HP Deskjet 1050 from your PC.
    2. Click the estimated ink levels.
    3. Open the Services tab.
    4. Click clean print head and follow the instructions on the screen, do not forget to complete the level 2 as well and see if that can help you.
Note: If there is no partial improvement after a cycle it worth the extra cycle and check if that can help you.

HP 22XL mentiioning, is the number of correct cartridge that you reference? the Deskjet 1050 printer uses the HP 122 / 122XL cartridges, not 22 like you mentioned.

If you have the correct cartridges and you see no improvement, try to replace with new ink cartridges we as no use for such a long period can get dried ink.

    Kind regards

    Shlomi

  • Ink dry on plotter large bed

I'm in the fashion industry and have a 8 ' plotter to print the markers and the pattern pieces.  My HP plotter, but a brand Italian professional isn't and uses black HP45 cartridges.

I had the plotter for several years and am still having problems with the HP oem cartridges.  If the plotter is not used for a few days of fo, I know I have to waste an hour or two, trying to get the majority of the jets of ink flowing again.  Its as if the ink dries and blocks the jets.  Just head cleaning software pushed ink through the jets not blocked a load, but does not help those blocked.  Usually, I can maybe 90% of the jets work evenually resting the cartridge on a damp piece of paper towels.  I wondered if alcohol would work better, but who have not tried yet, as I don't know if the ink is water or alcohol-based.

I am the only one to find unreliable HP ink technology?  $ 45 per cartridge, sometimes only one day, I'm obviously not very happy.  Customer service seems also non-existent, its impossible to find a method of contact on the HP website.  When I thought I was getting close, he told me that the ink cartridges are not supported here and left.  There is therefore no customer service for the problems of jet ink, so I found this general forum which probably nobody at HP reads.  Sometimes I feel that these companies USA have become too big for their own good, when the customer service is out of the window.

It is difficult to imagine what is the design of this printer it would be almost guaranteed to fail over time.  It is possible, there is a characteristic blockage which has been mounted on rubber stamp original, or the cushion itself has been used as a Cap.  Is it possible that the pad has been designed on a party who should move up and down CAP, but it does not work now?

If the printer has been designed with the advice of HP * they would have certainly given guidance on the terms of Cap.  All HP printers have a CAP system to keep the print head don't dry out.  While it might be possible to use a flat rubber for the CAP plate, this would risk forcing air in the nozzles every time that the ceiling was imposed.  HP plugs have a system with a vent to equalize pressure during recovery while maintaining the proper humidity level.

HP has a division that works with a third party for products of design who can use HP cartridges in their systems.

  • D7560 h misreports ink level

The "Print Quality Report" indicates that the yellow cartridge is empty.  However, I can see through the window that there is still plenty of ink left.

Why is there a disparity between the report and what is really the State of the cartridge?

    Answered my own question.

The necessary printer a serious cleaning, particularly regarding ink recess right where he made his household.  This area was so saturated with ink dried and sticky that I doubt running maintenance as the displacement of ink through the ports to prevent closed drying did anything.  I also cleaned the printhead.

On cleaning the ink well - it is not easy to go.  I didn't spend the time to find how to remove the outer casing.  There is a rectangular small black plastic well that seems to be there to collect the ink that gets past do its self maintenance.

Two things to look out for with this ink well.

    (1) there is a light spongy filter which is located at the top and is held in place by tension.  Take a pair of tweezers and it pick up.  Wash and dry while you do the rest.

    (2) there is a rather fragile framework/collar that snaps lightly against this well from left to right.  You can see the hole in the collar piece and the notch on the shaft.  While you are cleaning the grime, it will separate from the well, and I'm pretty sure that this is for the spongy filter.  Treat it gently and replace at the end, because the printer probably will not work without it in place.

I cleaned the ink well with lots of Q-Tips, thin rags, paper towels and made household cleaner to cut through the fat.  What a waste.  But it makes sense that this must be done because there is obviously a limit to how much ink can be thrown across the print heads in this area.  Maybe HP simply expects its customers either undesirable (a) the printer where ashtrays are complete or (b) pay more than the initial cost of the printer of have served it.  Obviously, HP should design their printers so that this cleaning can be done by the owner.

In addition, the print head and the region that contacts with him cleaning necessary.  Google it and you will find some good suggestions on the technical specifications.  The goal is to get all of the dried ink on cleaned without damage the contacts.

Once I got it cleaned up (and you will not get anything without a complete disassembly) and put back them together, the printer only past now tons of time to make his preparation before printing.  I assume it's because he can do it with success now that all this ink globbed was deleted rather than repeatedly trying and failing.

Finally, the yellow cartridge-specific workaround, I've slightly moistened at the corner of a cloth and pressed it against where the ink comes out.  Because of all the globbed ink in the well, I guess that the printer was not able to keep this cartridge flowing properly and dry closed.  Between the Primer of the cartridge with a little moisture and cleaning of the printer, all is well now.

  • OfficeJet 7500 half after very few Pages ink showing

The first series of cartridges in my 7500 has not lasted long.  I replaced the with real 920XL cartridges a few weeks ago.  I haven't printed ten pages, those who have all the text almost colorless and the magenta cartridge shows already half used!  The yellow and cyan cartridges are already showing at least a quarter used.  At this rate, the cartridges do not attend the last pages of text 20 almost colorless.

Someone at - it an idea what is happening?

    Hi skycyclepilot,

If you use reloaded or remanufactured cartridges, ink levels may be off?

If your printer is left on 24/7, it will be a periodic maintenance clear tasks that inject a small amount of ink through tiny nozzles in the print head to keep. The ink dries and thickens when it is exposed to air. You could save little ink by turning off the printer between its use.

ATTENTION: the power button should be used to put the printer off! If it is disabled using a power strip or something like that, the cartridges don't are not "parked" in a position capped when they are protected (a little) exposure and drying.

Little color is often used when printing black and white too, unless the printer settings were changed to print in black only.

See this Web page for more information on the use of ink:

    It is a joke.

HP Announces hundreds of pages, but you get to price a little and then another ink cartridge. He used ink color, even when printing in black only.

I pay almost $1 per page, with this cartridge.

  • Store procedure

    Hi expert CV.

I recently bought printer all-in-one deskjet ink advantage 1515, I already used it for about 1 week & I have no problem with this product so far. I'm not do so many activities print, maybe I'll print in 1 or 2 weeks with only 2 to 5 paper and just on the weekend only. And my question is, to 5-6 or 12-13 days without activities, no power status and the power unplug of power is it damage the ink or other component?

In my opinion, ink dries but there is perhaps more of that in my mind. If anyone knows anything you can give me help & suggestion about filing.

    Thank you.

The printer will automatically "cap" cartridges when the printer is off of the power switch of the printer.  Store the printer for a few weeks or a month should not be a problem.

Personally I suggest you leave the printer plugged into a decision-making power, but with the printer off.  If the printer is disconnected before the cartridges were lucky enough to Park properly in the capping station could dry out the cartridges.

  • question about inkjet printers and take care of them

    Hello

I think to buy a series inkadvantage printer. I am reluctant to go to an inkjet printer because I know of ink drying issues and I'm a light user. Sometimes I would not use the printer for a month or more. My question is if it will last with such a model of use.

I read printers generally do a periodic nozzle cleanings when left. If I keep the printer on all the time that guarantees nozzles will be fine? Or do I have to take extra precautions? Or am I stuck with printer not not last long?

    Thank you.

PS HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 3525 e-all-in-one printer does good photo prints?

The print head is built into the cartridge, see the example below...

If you are printing only rarely, so my experience a printer IPH is a better option. The advantage of ink series has a range of different printers. Will they have 4 or 5 cartridges, then they IIC (individual ink cartridges with the printhead being separated). If they have 2 cartridges (mono and tricolor), then it is HPI.

My newly installed HP photosmart 7510 (model No. C311a) will not copy two-sided documents.

Here's the story: on the screen of the printer, I went to copy > Settings and choose "2 faces".  After the first printing, side I put the original and replaced it in the charger.  After a break for the ink drying, the screen read "Copy...", but the original was not sucked into the feeder and the copy that came out had only the first side top.   I repeated several times with the same result.

At no time did any alerts or error messages.

I tried all the remedies suggested earlier:

I went to: Control Panel > printers & faxes > series of HP Photosmart 7510. Right-click on the last, I have found no reference to "Restore preferences", "Reset Printing System", or "installation of printer," as mentioned in the previous post.

On the homescreen of my computer, I clicked on the icon "Series of HP Photosmart 7510."  Assistant HP printer that has opened, I chose: the value of the preferences > series HP Photosmart 7510 printing preferences > advanced.
