Reset the multifunction data acquisition?

A call to 'DAQmx Reset Device.vi' resets all modes of hardware DAQ Multifunction or only those that are associated with the task that is connected to the entry? In other words, if the material includes analog outputs, analog and e/s digital, for example, the reset apply to all modes or only those that are associated with the task of entry? In this case, it's a USB-6366, but the question applies to any Multifunction DAQ.

Thank you
Don

  • What port bulk charge and reset the field data, using SSL?  Are there more ports beyond 7002 just?

Hi, we have short components configuration problems in an implementation of SSL Linux 64.  The rest of the components work, but not the load mass and reset the data domain.  We believe that this could be a problem to port because the environment is locked by defalut.  7003-8000 ports will not be open by default.

On the side of the design, we have the arguments defined VM as below, which appear correct.

    Djavax.net.ssl.keyStore=/disk1/Oracle/Middleware/user_projects/domains/endeca_integrator_service_domain/security/ssh/endecaServerClientCert.ks-Djavax.net.ssl.keyStorePassword=***-Djavax.net.ssl.trustStore=/disk1/Oracle/Middleware/user_projects/domains/endeca_integrator_service_domain/security/ssh/endecaServerTrustStore.ks-Djavax.net.ssl.trustStorePassword=***

    any thoughts?

You can configure the port ranges that short Server will use.  This applies to both ports of the primary for web services (usually 7001/7002 for Non-SSL/SSL) as well as the underlying ports that are listening on the areas of individual data.

Almost everything is going through the ports of short primary server (7001/7002) to lock things should not be a problem, as the "traffic" would come from the local computer.  That said, by exploiting the essential ingest functionality requires a direct contact between Integrator (or Integrator Server) connection and the data domain.  If the ports are not open and inclusive tent ingestion of a different area, you'll get failures.

As with anything related to SSL, I recommend always get your sorted environment (open ports, firewall, etc.), then activation of SSL.  If you are not sure about ports AND you are not entirely sure of the configuration of SSL, it can be very difficult to solve the two simulanteously.

    Hi JWins,

Thank you for using communities Support from Apple!

I understand that switching between Apple watches has affected the data on your iPhone. In this case, I recommend reading on the following article to ensure that the process that you use to switch watches is identical to what is described in the article. Your progress should update automatically after activation.

I'm doing some tests on some materials. My cycles configuration a relay to change a solenoid and im monitor pressure in time with a pressure sensor. I'd like to save these data say every 5 min so im not constantly processing and registration. I don't know what is the best approach, or what will work best.

to use this vi, you'll need drivers/libraries for my relay and acquisition of data that are too large to load so I have attached links. otherwise a different vi just simulating a signal could achieve the same function

    What should I do?

Okay, it looks like some kind of a problem. Could be a hardware problem, but that's just a guess about your situation.

First, you must perform an update of the BIOS on your computer to make sure that the rom BIOS is OK.

Then, if the problem persists, I would contact an authorized service partner, since the problem seems more related material.

  • Input module of data acquisition can be read by two or more LabVIEW vi at the same time % 3F

I use the DAQ palette in LabVIEW to read the virtual channels of the input data acquisition module. I've done several VI who read many entries of three modules of simulations. The problem appears when I run two or more VI´s reading entries from the same virtual module (for example. first.VI module 1 input ai0 and second.VI bed ai0 entry module 1 bed), when this happens the next errors are shown:

    Error-50103

Platform AND Services: The specified resource is reserved. The operation could not be performed as indicated.

    and

    Error-200022

Resource requested by this task has already been reserved by another task.

It's worrying because I want to get the DAQ chassis and some modules, but if this problem is present with physical equipment my application may be unnecessary. This means that entry module only can be read once at the time?

I m using global variables in each Subvi to share data with main VI, however, I found the solution in a different way... I just changed to single channel and dbl sample playback mode, so I Don t need to clean up the task of reading in my subVI´s, the zeros isn´t problem here, and the six subVI´s work at the same time!

    Thanks for the tips!

Yes, I realize that NEITHER wants us to buy their cable, but in these economic times difficult, to do use all available resources, so I have to try,.

    Hello

As long as you have compatible connectors, SCSI cables will work DAQ of basic functions.  They have the advantage of NO cables is that we can meet our DAQ hardware.  So, we can create pairs twisted differential pairs to HAVE, using the ground for shielding terminals and generally specialize the cable to minimize noise and crosstalk.  Because the SCSI cables are not specialized, you are likely to see the most noise and, if you go the sampling rates more Rapids, crosstalk.  If you are in a laboratory or factory with a good amount of noise EMF that your readings are not quite as clean, or if you have fluorescent lights you might see 60 Hz noise you might not see otherwise.

If you want more details on the specifications of the SH68-68-EPM cable, I recommend these two articles.  The first example of the twisted pair and the principles of the SH cable shielding and the second gives the most precise specifications that you can compare with when looking for a SCSI cable.

  • Conversion rates for simultaneous data acquisition

I use a Mech multifunction data acquisition. / s/SMU-6366. The maximum sampling frequency for the analog inputs is 2 MHz. Is the time of actual conversion of CDA always 0.5µs, or t - it change with the evolution of the sampling frequency? Can I set the time of the conversion? Reading, looks with peripheral multiplex, you can set convert it clock and the sample separately clock. What is with simultaneous data acquisition?

    Hi Daniel K..

It is a big question. I wonder if you get any errant behaviour - your card is not up samples as you hope?

Here is some information that might help you:

What kind of analog-digital converters are used in National Instruments hardware DAQ Multifunction...

    Wikipedia: successive approximations ADC

I'm not sure exactly what happens, but dare a guess time digitizing ADC does not vary with the frequency of sampling.  And it will also be more than 0.5 US - it is more than likely faster than that.

I hope this helps.  Good luck with your application!

  • Data acquisition - DTR

I need to perform data acquisition for my sensor of temperature RTDS (PT 100). My sensor is first attached to the converter temperature Broderson PXT 10, then to BNC-2090 - NI. national instruments DAQ board.

PXT 10 gives 0 - 10V DC output, which is then provided to BNC-2090.

While BNC 2090 reads only the voltage, data acquisition give some readings of voltage. I want to know how I can convert the resulting voltage reading DAQ corresponding temperature.

Currently I use Callendar Van Dussen equation for conversion. As I take a very low current exciation, conversion gives me a thousand ohms resistance values, and that's why I don't get the value of the correct temperature.  I have attached a reference image.

    Can someone please help?

    Thank you.

    Raphael,

Even if the plug is not explicit, the implication is that output (0-5 V) is linear in the selected temperature interval. So 0 Volts would represent - 50 C and + 5 V would be 300 C or C 100 depending on the range. All you will need is linear (m * x + b) scaling for temperatures.

You must run probably some simple calibration verification tests to make sure it works that way.

  • data acquisition won't taste at the specified rate

Material: C - DAQ 9178, AI 9239, inside a servo and an encoder potentiometer module

Setup: I use the 9239 to measure the angular position of my servo and encoder of trees by streaming came pressure pot of the servo and my encoder. I put the sampling frequency on the DAQmx - Schedule VI to 100 Hz.

Problem: I don't think that my DAQ is sampling data at 100 Hz because my VI registers more than 10 000 data points for a 10 second test. In addition, every time I have save my data in a text file, the vector of time my test data resets after a number of iterations.

To debug, I tried the following configuration:

I've defined the sampling frequency of 100 Hz (or is that s/s?), the samples per channel (size of buffer for continuous mode) at 2000 samples, number of samples per channel up to 10 and loop milliseconds timer on my VI at 10 m accordingly, data acquisition would send 100 samples per second (or 1 sample every 10 ms) on my PC buffer (which could store 20 X that amount). Then LabVIEW would read up to 10 samples per loop iteration (which is itself ~ 100 Hz) and work with these 10 samples inside the loop. However, since the loop is operating close to the sampling frequency of data acquisition, then LV should only work with 1 sample each iteration of the loop (100 Hz / 100 Hz)-not the 10-sample-max that I specified.

However, I stumbled on "error-200279: the application is not able to cope with the acquisition of material" when I ran the program. Why?

My code and materials should be easily able to cope with data acquisition - at least the way I put it in place

This whole situation wondered my fundamental understanding of data acquisition timing, so I would really appreciate an explanation of exactly how to deliver DAQmx uses data synchronization, why my DAQ sample at 100 Hz, and how can I fix the calendar specified by the user.

    Thank you!

    aeroAggie wrote:

The C - DAQ 9178 there some minimum sampling rate I will not meet?

It's actually the 9239 that limit your sampling rate.  Read the data sheeton page 5 there's available data rates.  In short, your data rate allowed is 50kS/s / n, where is goes from 1 to 31.  50 k/31 gives you 1.6kS / s.  So, it's the minimum sampling frequency that can be used.
