Hello

See if going to window > workspace > Reset Workspace works.

In addition, you can press the green button maximize after resetting the workspace to fit the window of photoshop on the desktop.

This button down you pressed is to change the screen modes:

I really dislike the new workspace / layout of round fine shuffleboard in PS CC. Anyone know if it is possible to reset the workspace / pallets / interface look to imitate the older PS classic look that we all used for so long?

There's nothing radically different about CC in Photoshop.

Not to speak for others.  Many serious Photoshop users have reclassified by each version.  The changes were all scalable.

That said, for more specific help, perhaps you could provide a bit more information?  How about describing details such as what you see is different, how you would like it to look.

For everything you wrote, it is possible that you may just want to disable the app framework in the window menu.  We can't really say.

  • How to export settings of the workspace in PhotoShop CC?

How to export settings of the workspace in PhotoShop CC?

Specifically, the location of my tools, palettes and so on.

I created my work space and save - and this is my window > Workspace menu but it's not here the export option.

Other instructions I found (for CS6) supposed to go into file > presets > menu manage - but that has only brushes, shades, etc. - no option I can find for the workspace layout.

PC instructions, please. Feel free to include Mac, if they are different, so the next person can find a complete solution.

(I hope the translation of this statement for INDD & I - or I'll post on the forums as well)

    Please and thank you.

If you can access other system files of users on the local or remote computer, you can import the Photoshop preferences files.

    • Then the window > Workspace > uncheck "Workspace Import of projects."
    • Go to file > save

Open your project, and then see if the workspace is back to normal.

  • Can the workspace of Photoshop CS6/interface be resized when the bottom is bleeding off the screen?

I realize that this is perhaps a silly question...

The cs6 window-space to work/interface can be shortened in height when the lower corners cannot be seized?  The top of the interface is at the top of the computer screen.  I can't drag the interface to the top above.  Y at - it a keyboard shortcut?  I tried searching forums and websites and impossible to find a solution.

Too bad.  It just click button at top left and resizes window on the screen.  Pretty obvious.

  • Reset the workspace when switching between laptop and external monitor

Is there a way to have my work space reset itself (or better yet change between two workspaces) when I pass between my laptop and my external monitor to my office. Adobe likes to crush my workspace in a sea of useless, mutilated pallets when I leave my office. There at least had the kindness to put it when I get back.

I realize I can manually reset and I even put in place a combination of keys, but I don't see why he can't do it on its own. Or better yet, stop blend it upward in the first place.

Unfortunately, I think it's an OS and PS reacts only to have to resize it to another monitor.

  • retention of documents windows at the top of the workspace in photoshop cc?

in earlier versions of photoshop, when I dragged a document in its own window, he would remain on top of everything else on my workspace unless I reduced to a minimum, even if I was working on another document in the main photoshop window. in photoshop cc this feature seems to have disappeared and my documents keep disappearing obnoxiously behind my largest photoshop workspace if I click away from them. I hate to bring them to the front and I would like to know if there is a way to block at the front, or just a setting I can change to make my work more like my old space? (I'm sure that my old one was cs4) I don't want to turn off the windows, I want to just make sure that if I drag a new output window, it remains above all else unless I have deliberately to minimize it.

What operating system do you use?

As far as I know, what your description only works in photoshop on a windows operating system, not on mac os.

  • Find OOBe file to reset the trial of Photoshop

Please rename the file opm.db to opm.db.old.

    Win:

C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE Please note that appdata is a hidden, folder if it does not appear that you must display it.

    Then, this:

    Rename the opm.db file.

    1. Close the application of Creative Cloud runs.
    2. Navigate to the OOBE folder.
Windows: [system drive]: \Users\ [user name] \AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE
      Mac OS: /users/ < user name >/folder/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE
    3. Rename the file opm.db in opm_old.db
    4. Launch of creative cloud

How can I locate the file on Windows 8 to rename?

Link to buy the CS6 via phone http://www.adobe.com/products/cs6.html read all the way down

Of after what I read in a forum message, Mac latest 10.7 must register in the cloud instead of CS6... and someone with Win10 must subscribe also to the cloud because CS6 is not compatible (meaning that the seller will ask you your operating system and not sell you CS6 if she does not work on your computer... I don't know if this means that Win7 and you can't buy if you have Win8)

    Thank you!!

Check 2014 CC and CC 2015 UI scaling. If CC 2015 there is a bug in Adobe preference UI Auto scale.  Auto scales some views put 200%, which should not be reduced to 100% not automatically...

  • Management of the workspace in Dreamweaver CC2014

In Dreamweaver CC2014 my windows go behind my tab groups (files, extracted, assets, insert, etc.) where I'm not working on it. If I reduce down, he piles up the windows in a strange way. I've been using Dreamweaver for many years and it is only a question to CC2014.

I finally got the problem solved through contact Adobe support - we had essentially reset the workspace to one of the predefined patterns coming out of the box with Dreamweaver. Then the signs start to behave properly. From there I could customize my layout to where I needed it. This problem occurred on the upgrade of the CC to CC2014, something in the configuration files was not correct. I'm writing this in case anyone else had these issues. Machine Windows, Pro 8.1.

  • Conversion of the workspace

If I load a PSD with a built-in Adobe RGB profile in Photoshop (CS6) when selected working space is srgb, converting in the workspace, and if I may make a few touches of color to increase the contrast and saturation, all information about the Adobe RGB range will be lost when I save the file, or can it be recovered once the file is re-charge and converted at the time where the workspace of Photoshop returned to Adobe RGB. If the information is lost then of course I'll have to save as a separate file, but which doubles the amount of used disk space.

The colors of the original image from Adobe RGB that exceed the sRGB space are pretty much irreparably changed by conversion.

Why would you even to convert smaller color space and not maintain the embedded color space?

  • FDK - add custom modeless dialog box in the workspace

(transferred to framedev and coaches, have no chance to get a response)

    Hello

Someone at - it their own dialog box successfully added to a workspace, then got to

appear when this workspace is selected or reset? The FDK doc implies that this

can be done, but I can't understand it. I opened my save dialog box the

workspace, but it does not come at the time when I reset the workspace.

In fact, I didn't it works, because there must be some other crochet

where I responded by running the appropriate code to open the box. FM couldn't know

What would this code. But I can't understand how to use notifications.

In particular, I can't understand FA_Note_Dialog_Create at all.

    Thank you

    Russ

Well, I finally thought to it with greater experimentation. I think the answer is in the FDK docs, but it was difficult for me and my first experience has failed for some reason any. Pasted below is some info that I sent to Maxwell Hoffman at Adobe, in which case it would be interesting to their team of technical publications:

RE: Adding a dialog box customized to a workspace

It took me a long time to understand this because I think the FDK documentation lacks some details. Here's what he says now:

"Because FrameMaker supports workspaces, modeless dialogs of the customer can become a part of a workspace. To do this, the customer must manage the notification FA_Note_Dialog_Create, who is sent to the client when the workspace must launch the modeless dialog box for a particular customer. »

I guess the answer is there, but it wasn't enough clarify for me to understand at the beginning. I have finally understood that when you save a workspace when the dialog box is open, the notification and then is done automatically once you select or reset this workspace in the future. There is also the fact that "sparm" is set to the name of the dialog box, you need to test in order to know how to react. So, I would recommend adding some verbiage that is similar to the following:

When a workspace is saved with a custom open modeless dialog, name and positioning of this dialog box are stored with the workspace. Then, when the user selects or resets the workspace, FrameMaker sends the FA_Note_Dialog_Create to the respective customer with sparm set to the name of the dialog box. It is then the responsibility of the customer to manage the notification and run the code needed to open the new dialog box. Once the dialog box is open and the client code stops, the workspace setup routine will continue and position automatically dialog as stored in the workspace.

    Note the following points:

-FA_Note_Dialog_Create is sent when the workspace includes a custom dialog which was opened after you save the workspace. If several custom dialog boxes have been opened, individual notifications are sent for each.

-Customer notification code must reopen the dialog box itself (F_ApiOpenResource(), etc.), then it will position the workspace.

    - As all notifications, you must enable FA_Note_Dialog_Create with F_ApiNotification().
