resize by 1-pixel - bug?

It seems so latly I have:

Control - T > adjust the height or the width of the object by 1 pixel > control - return to complete

the adjustment does not stick and object remains the same size.

By default, the central point of the transformation is located in the middle of the object. If you add a single row/column pixel then you tell Photoshop to add half a pixel to each side of the EEG which then deleted when you apply the transform. If you want to add a single line of pixels then say which side you want to add it by choosing another point of reference for Photoshop

Set or move the reference point for a transformation

  • Resizing layers using pixels rather than percentages by AUTO ACTION

    Hi guys,.

I have just a problem in the resizing layers; I use pixel in the bar. But when I do in action auto, it becomes percentages which can lead to the wrong action towards other layer I want to apply for. So, how can I use pixels instead of percentages when I do the Auto action?

Photoshop actions have limits, if you are familiar with JavaScript, you should probably examine script instead.

  • Lightroom: representation of pixel BUG after exposure adjusment

    Hello!
I use Lightroom CC on Mac and recently I found the strange bug.

    1. I found this defect on one of my photos in Lightroom:

    1.png

    2. my first thought was about dust, so I tried to use the spot tool.

But the defects of pixels are not affected by the tool spot!

    3.png

In addition, with the spot tool, that I discovered that he has not actually default on the image itself, but something bad representation!
The anomaly of still image after export, so it is not so harmless.

    2.png

Then I discovered that original RAW do not have this defect.

    3. then I analyzed the history of changes:

    5.png

So, this defect appeared after exposure setting and I found the same type of defects on my other photos!

    Dear Adobe, please, fix it!

Glad that solved the problem.  I sometimes use Auto mask to quickly paint an area of correction and then go on the inside with the auto mask off to fill all the unselected areas. For your other photos with the adjustment brush "Auto mask" try the paint inside the selected area as follows.

    (1) choose the pin of the adjustment brush and let "Show selected mask Overlay" over the film.

    (2) uncheck the auto mask, set the size of the slightly smaller brush, feather 0-25, 100 Flow and density 100.

    (3) paint inside the mask overlay, which will apply the brush for all tasks not selected & speckles settings.

    (4) made!

  • Resizing layers using pixels instead of percentages in Photoshop

With the help of Photoshop CS5 for PC.

When I select a layer and look at the info panel, I see that the width and height of the layer is shown apparently in percentages by default.  More precisely 100% height and 100% width.

I would have preferred that the info panel shows the height and width in Pixels rather than percentages.

After considering the height and width in Pixels I mean, change the height enter the height in pixels.

    How can I do?

I don't want to use a "leader" to do this, I just want to be able to enter the pixels (width and height) I want the resized b layer.  For example, when you select a rectangle which is currently 100 pixels high and 50 pixels wide, I want to be able to simply change of 50 pixels wide by entering (in a field) 25 to make 25 pixels wide.

In Fireworks, I resize in pixels all the time.  But could not find a method similar to Photoshop.

    Thank you

Info palette: just click on the drop down next to the display and change the units for playback.

Transformation: just specify the units when you enter the number, '25 px' or '25 pixels.

  • You can resize pictures in pixels mode?

I currently have Photoshop Elements 7, but am using PSE1, because in 7, when I go to scale an image and even if said image is 1600 x 1200 pixels, the scaling part only lets you choose percent, inches, cm, mm, points, picas, and columns. Even in the Resolusion mentions pixels, pixels/inch and the pixels/cm.

I only work in pixels when with sizes, and then measuring down pictures, I like to be able to enter the dimensions (in pixels) I want to put across the images. Why Adobe out something like that? What a large part of leave the option to pixels in the program? Or is there a way to select pixels, I thought? Sometimes I forget things, no matter how hard I look for the answer.

    Thank you

They do not have to remove it. To resize in pixels, you do it in Image > resize > Image size, but you must turn on resampling first, since you are resampling when you change dimensions in absolute pixels in an image.

  • Image resizing based on pixels, not "scale".

    Hello

I have several images I imported my calendar Premiere CS4 and have their pixel size.

In the effect controls > video effects I see only "scale".

Where in Premiere CS4 can I an image to the width and the height of a specific pixel size.  As 1020px x 200px

    Thank you!

Resize them in PS, then import them into your project.

  • Resizing of specific pixels using PS action

I'm trying to automate the creation of a montage of sorts with photoshop actions.  What I want to do, is to have an action that will resize the content of the active layer to specific dimensions.  This means that if the image is too small, it will expand it. Or if the picture is the exact right size, nothing happens. Is this possible? Thank you!

Take a look at the Image Processor, which you will find under Scripts.

  • Layer Style STROKE Pixel Bug?

I found at random times when I draw a rectangle with the rectangle tool and then use style layer to a 1 pixel border, the border may have a fade on each side of that 1 pixel and it became 2 pixels.  It does not appear on all four sides, just randomly left, right, up, down...

To better illustrate the problem, I have attached an image and it has zoomed in to show the problem... You see how left and down is 1 pixel but not top and right?  It is strange and never arrived in CS4... I'm using CS5 passing... Someone at - he experienced this?

You must check the alignment of the pixels in the rectangle shape tool options:

  • Is it possible to resize the Photos (in pixels) with Lightroom Mobile

I would like to know if Photoshop Express or Lightroom Moble apps have the ability to resize photos (in pixels)?  I need an app that I can standardize on iPhone/iPad and Android phone/tablet.  If not Adobe suggestions.  Thank you.

    Hi oborzo,

Unfortunately, Lightroom Mobile or Photoshop Express has the ability to resize photos using pixels. They both allow you to resize using reports l / h.

Hope that answers the first part of your post.

  • Delay in resizing of front panel

    Hello

I develop GUI which needs to look nice and the user will have the option to resize. Since the ladder under the window property fails, I wanted to use the resize Panel event.

But there is delay - controll is resized some time after I resize the front panel and that seems bad. When I look at the list of window or error of project it will resize instantly.

Why I can't get this result in Labview?

I could always sign size leash read say every 10ms and calculate the size of ontrolls on this basis, but is there best option by using this resize event Panel?

It should be more or less obvious that this parameter means when used.  If you set a control to fit the pane and then resize this component, it does not wait for the mouse to start resizing it it will resize for each pixel the mouse movement.

  • PDF page looks pixelated

When I open a pdf page in photoshop cc (2015) resized looks and pixelated on windows 7.

What settings you chose during the pdf conversion, more precisely what resolution?

  • Change the pixel size

help with resizing 480/640 pixels for a pixel size of large 1000, resizing doesn't seem to work for me?  Windows Vista - Cannon A2500 - obviously not very well with my editing skills.

Hello!  Try to use the size of the Image, in the Image menu.

Because you want to increase the width of a specific pixel dimension, type "1000" in the 'Width' field, and then click OK.  This should do what you want.

  • Is it possible to change the resolution batch, but not the size of the pixels?

I was changing my digital photos from 180 to 300 ppi resolution individually that I retouched, but sometimes I forget. Because I need a higher resolution for printing, I decided to automate this step by using the "Process Multiple Files" of the PSE feature. I noted that the selection of the resolution was grayed out until I checked 'Resize pictures.' Given that I didn't change the number of pixels, I left these fields empty.

When I started the automated processing, I noticed it was terribly slow, so I cancelled it and looked at the resulting files. They had more than doubled in size from the file because the PSE has been almost double the pixel Dimensions! I don't want to try a "resizing" for the pixel dimensions current workaround, because the treatment takes about 45 seconds per file, and if I have cropped the photos, the pixel dimensions vary. Is there an automated way to change only the PES resolution... quickly?

Also, I really want to double the resolution of 180 dpi to 360 DPI, but PSE limited my choices to 300 or 600 or less. I read about Scripts, but I don't think that PSE supports. I have version 6.

Thank you very much for the help.

To tell you the truth, changing the resolution of your digital photos is totally meaningless.

A digital photo that is (for example) 2000 x 3000 pixels and 180ppi is the SAME PHOTO EXACTLY as if you changed the photo of 2000 x 3000 to 300 ppi.

So my advice to you is to don't bother to make all these changes resolution, because there is no advantage. Additional work, no advantage? I don't like the sound of that.

The only time you need to worry about the resolution is when you print, and even then, if you say printing software you want a 4 x 6, with most of the software you will get a 4 x 6, regardless of the resolution contained in the image file.
