Resize PDF pages

I looked through the forums and I can't always to get a simple answer (if it exists). Can I change the page size of a PDF document?

Basically, what I've done is to take pictures of documents with my phone - instead of scanning etc - and I have to jump into a PDF document to send an email to and/or print. The pictures are obviously huge. I would like the PDF as letter size output. Another way would be to "print to PDF" preview before, but I don't see a PDF printer for some weird reason.

Mac OS 10.8, CS 5.5.

On a Mac, choose file > print in your application. At the bottom left, click on the PDF menu.

To use the built-in method of Apple to create a PDF file, choose Save as PDF. To use the Adobe method which uses the Distiller in the background, click on save as Adobe PDF.

  • Resize all pages in a PDF to the same dimensions (height, width)

    I have a big PDF file of several hundred pages in which all the pages have slightly different dimensions. I want to resize these pages in such a way that they will all have the same dimensions. I tried to do it with the crop in Acrobat tool, but if I get all pages in one fell swoop, the resulting dimensions of the page will always be the same for all pages. I can't get page dimensions the same if I harvest each page separately, which is not really fun to do with a 300-page document. Does anyone know if there is a simple way to do this in one fell swoop? I can always crop (rare) pages that do not perfectly match thereafter.

    Hi Bronwater,

    You can print to the Adobe PDF printer to a desired page size, but it will flatten your PDF & the other option is going to be trimming the PDF file.

  • How to resize a page file of pdf with Acrobat Pro?

    Acrobat Pro, how can you resize a page to PDF (21.38 x 26.75 mm ") into a single measure 6" x 9 ", which will be submitted as the trim size? Is there a feature that allows it to be? How does set an all printing options in the print Application dialog box to adjust the size of a page of custom file?

    Pages wide you need to tax a plugin or script in Acrobat.

    Alternatively, you can print them on the Adobe PDF printer using the desired page size, well that which will remove all the file contains metadata (bookmarks, fields, comments, etc.).

  • Can I resize PDF Dimensions?

    Hello

    If I open a PDF file in Adobe Acrobat Pro can I resize the dimensions of this PDF?

    In addition, Adobe Acrobat Pro is not really software allows me to create from scratch, is it? Rather, it is a conversion tool. Am I wrong?

    Thank you

    In my view, that this option is available as part of the tool controls upstream in Acrobat DC. Earlier versions, to use a script (like this I've developed: Scripts Adobe custom: Acrobat - scale PDF Pages ), a plugin (like QuiteImposing) or "re - FRY" the file (IE, referring to the Adobe PDF printer specifying a new page size).

    And Yes, you are basically correct. Acrobat is not intended to create PDF files from scratch (even if she can do it), but to convert existing files to PDF and then modify them in various ways.

  • RESIZE PDF

    Hello

    I use Acrobat Pro on my mac and I don't know how can I resize (size of file) of the pdf file.

    Please help me!

    Thank you

    Just change the page size without scaling the content, you can use the crop tool, which allows you to crop to a smaller size, or change the page size for a larger page size.

    If you want to scale, if you have Adobe Acrobat Pro, you can actually it do in Acrobat without the need for any other software: the "Upstream" tool contains a profile that resizes all pages to a specified size:

    Once you click on the button "Fix" at the bottom of the dialog box, you will be prompted for a page size (that you will have to specify in millimeters), and then all the pages will be reduced to this size.

    Acrobat Standard has not the tool to control upstream.

  • Specific PDF page without the dialog box options import

    Hello

    I do the multipage PDF to import programmatically (without the dialog box options).

    Import a PDF page specific to a graphic image of the first step for the solution.

    I use the SDKLayoutHelper::PlaceFileInFrame function but I can't select a specified (for example, page 2) page programmatically

    Thanks in advance

    Károly

    I figured out by SnpPlaceFile.cpp

    ....
    // The solution
      InterfacePtr cmdSetPDFPlacePrefs(CmdUtils::CreateCommand(kSetPDFPlacePrefsCmdBoss));
      InterfacePtr pdfPlacePrefData (cmdSetPDFPlacePrefs, IID_IPDFPLACEPREFS);
      pdfPlacePrefData->SetTransparentBackground(kTrue);
      pdfPlacePrefData->SetPage(2);
      result = CmdUtils::ProcessCommand(cmdSetPDFPlacePrefs);
    //

      UIDRef frameRef = layoutHelper.PlaceFileInFrame(fileChooser.GetIDFile(),
      parentUIDRef,
      boundsInParentCoords,
      uiFlags,
      fileChooser.GetRetainFormat(),
      fileChooser.GetConvertQuotes(),
      fileChooser.GetApplyCJKGrid());

  • Cannot use the back button on the Web PDF pages

    I Windows 7, Internet Explorer (IE) 11 and Adobe Reader DC, all day. Whenever I go to a PDF Web page by clicking on a link in the Google search results and then want to return to the search results page by clicking the back button on the browser, it will not go back. Page PDF just charging once again. This does not occur when I use my browser Google Chrome, when I use IE. It happens with every page PDF that I access from the Google search on Internet Explorer. What can I do to be able to use the back button on the Web PDF page?

    Google made a diversion when you click on a search result. You can see if you right click on a such result and select Copy link location, and then paste. Is not the real address - the web site, but a link to a page of Google.com. So when you click on back after going to her, you can end up on the same redirect page, which automatically will then take you to its destination... Some browsers can handle this better than others, but it is not related to the PDF file you open.

  • Why one of my PDF pages is surprisingly big?

    One of my PDF pages measure 22 inches by 33 inches when he should be only 8 inches by 12 inches.  This is a page that has been scanned from a book.  All other pages are the correct size.  I tried to convert this page in PDF format by himself, but he's still not too big.  This makes it very difficult to have a uniform document.

    Hello

    You can try the steps suggested above to create this page as a new page with (as the paper size) paper size

    Kind regards
