Resolution of the monitor which affect the display image

I use two monitors. The primary monitor is set to a resolution of 1920 x 1200. The second monitor is set to a resolution of 1920 x 1080. When I have LR displayed on the main screen (1920 x 1200), emissions information, but not images. When LR is displayed on the second monitor (1920 x 1800) shows all information and images. Why the images displayed on the monitor with a resolution of 1920 x 1200? What is the solution to see the images on the monitor with a resolution of 1920 x 1200?

Both calibrated and profiled?

Resolution has nothing to do with it. But if the profile monitor for that screen is broken, Lightroom is known just refuses to display in some cases.

  • Artifacts and low resolution in the poster image

    Hi, I have real problems with poor quality poster image / final, still the video coverage.

    I have a mp4 H.264 that I created in After Effects and inserted using the media panel in the DPS.

    As you see below, he plays on loading the page, and I chose the cover over to be the image of the poster when she ends of in the Panel inlays of Folio. I put the video to stop on the last page.

    When the video stops, you can see all the artifacts around the text that I expect to be as sharp as the original PSD file, I downloaded as the poster image.

    I am doing wrong or is there something that can further improve the quality of the final? Is the same poster displayed image or is it the last frame of the video? (I guess that's the case)

    I hope you can help.

    Thank you

    Screen Shot 2014-10-07 at 10.14.07.pngScreen Shot 2014-10-07 at 10.14.18.png

    I've sorted it!

    Abandoned altogether the poster image and re-created the elements of the film that I would like in InDesign on the page and the film plays to the end and finally reveals the page under. I was overloading the things.

  • Resolution of the projected image

    During the projection of an image of a picture of PP CS6 via a projector screen, the resolution of the image on the screen is very low. The public cannot read the data on the projected image.  The laptop is already on the maximum resolution. I use the operating system is Windows 7 Home Premium on a Toshiba 64 k. Y at - it a Windows setting to the resolution of the image traditionally planned? Thanks for the help.

    What is your film resolution and frame rate, interlaced or progressive? First will create and export or make almost any video format if you have the codecs.

    Let's say that your film is full HD uncompressed, 1920x1080P. This is unlikely since hard drives and CPUs can choke on codecs uncomrpessed. If your movie has probably been transcoded to friendlier codec. I don't know about Windows Media, but on a Macintosh, we would probably use H.264. If it is still in full size HD, your video card installed is simply not able to read it in full resolution. The film is to be scaled down, pixels are shriveled up and away, thrown to fit on maximum screen size of your card. As your movie 1080, reduced about 30% to 740 at 760, comes in your upscaler is be blown back to 1080. But the information has been lost. All your upscaler can possible do make the blobby parts more large; It cannot replace the pixels that have been lost.

    Build your movie in a format 720. Make sure that all your graphics are visible on your editing screen by observing it remotely simulating the environment of the screen. Or, better, to connect the projector to your editor to get an overview of the results.

    Or use a device that is able to play 1080 full HD.

  • LR applies preset to the displayed images in Bridge

    Whenever I have download pictures from my camera to my MAC, I use the bridge to preview images and remove photos that I don't want to keep before you import into LR4.  All of a sudden after downloading 6.7 cab, looks like a LR preset is applied to images in Bridge before doing anything with the photos.  When I view the images in any other program, there is not a single problem with them.  If I clear the Cache, the images back to their original state to pop back the look "";" reset. "  When I downloaded the LR4 images, they first come without any alteration at all.  Then, regardless of this preset, appears on all images as images of the load.  When I go to the develop module, the sliders have changed, but they're ready than trying to make the State of origin is possible to directly return to zero manually. I was on the phone with Adobe support for 2.5/hrs before the person said that someone else would call me within 1-2 hours to solve my problem.  No one did it.  Remove 6.7 cab and going back to 6.6 ACR did not help.  Even completely uninstall and reinstall PS CS5 do not work either.

    You have changed your default settings to develop.

    To develop, do not develop-> Set Default Settings-> Reset to default Adobe.

  • Satellite A660-1FM - maximum resolution of the display of the external monitor

    Hi all

    Maybe it is (probably) an easy question to answer, but I have a Satellite A660-1FM and want to use it with my external screen Samsung Syncmaster (forgot model). I got a HDMI-> DVI - D adapter and everything is going well, but here's my question:

    The page of specifications of toshiba for my laptop (http://uk.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/product/Satellite-A660-1FM/1096013/toshibaShop/false/) shows a capacity of external resolution of:
    Maximum resolution: 2 048 x 1 536
    Max refresh rate: 100 Hz
    Resolution No interlaced with the maximum refresh rate: 1920 x 1 200

    But I get what I call resolution HDMI standard (no wonder, I guess) when connected HDMI-> DVI - D to my external monitor. I have already run this monitor on my desk at highest resolution of 1080 p, so the monitor is capable.
    Wondering what I'm missing here, or is that a matter of graphics card specification is more than possible to the output of the laptop?

    Thanks for any help
    Andy

    Hi Khaled,

    What is the native screen resolution of your external display?
    Can you connect your laptop and monitor with HDMI cable only why you need an adapter?

    To be honest I don't understand your question. If you already have the Full HD screen resolution why do you need more?

  • How the display image browser size is important these days?

    I am a photographer who shoots food for small businesses, and I don't know that a lot of web design.  Some of my clients use templates for web design (rather than using the designers) and less that I know.  I advise them to design pages that display JPG images at their actual size for optimal sharpness and tell them that a web page with a jpg file with a smaller than its actual size will probably seem a little fuzzy.

    I've tested this recently and was surprised that I could upload it jpg very large for a web page to test that shows it is small, and the image went well.  It's Chrome for Mac.  Safari has looked a bit fuzzy but not as bad as I would have guessed.  Now, I know that it is not good to use huge images to keep reasonable page load times. But it seems that browsers have become smarter lately on resizing the images for display. What is the latest thinking on this old golden rule?  With a sensitive web design / best browsers, transferred bit jpg size does matter as much as it used to?

    I want to be able to advise my clients competently, and I don't want them or me wasting time in jpg to just the right size; and conversely, I'm not using an images 'one size fits all' approach if their results will be significantly wrong.  How hard I have to push this issue with them?

    So, how much image display size question these days, and what are the best practices?

    This thread may be able to offer assistance because it covers the use of images for Retina displays. He suggests basically showing the image to the right size, but using an image that is twice as big (just like what you did above).

  • After reinstall Window Vista 32 bit, I can't move the slider to increase the resolution of the screen, how do I solve this problem

    My Dell Inspiron 530 sudenlly crashed, I could not start it. I called for the support of a group that I paid for. Technicians helped me start the PC, but they could not fix the screen resolution: in the display settings window, the cursor is on the left end of the bar, the low position and could not be moved. The technician finally asked me to save the folders files and reinstall Windows Vista. After the relocation, the screen resolution problem persisted. Technicians then reformat the HD, then reinstall Windows Vista again, the result was the same. We cannot change the resolution. Help, please.

  • Resolution of the image when you place the InDesign file in InDesign

    I feel like this is a silly question but I do not know the answer!

    If I place an InDesign file that contains a picture in a another InDesign, the resolution of the original image file is kept? For example, if I have an InDesign A5 file, that contains a chart where the ppi effective (because it's been reduced) is 600 dpi, and then I place the entire InDesign file it in another file and EXPAND, what happens to my graph?

    Thank you!

    I have a document with an InDesign file linked, an area of text that is used in many documents, so interested in this issue.

    I did a quick test and it seems to work as it should. I made a smaller file with an image linked and bound the Indesign file in a larger document, and since it is a linked InDesign file it recognizes and displays the image in the links Panel.

  • How to create an item of the display of the Image with functions Apex?

    Hi everyone :)

    I'm working on the 4.1.1.00.23 Apex in an 11g database XE.

    I want to display an Image in a report, I can do this by using the ' + BLOB download Format mask + ", but the images displayed in the original format and I want to display the smaller.

    I read that you need to create a procedure, a SYNONYM and call them to the src of the img tag. as Zsuzsi Vadasz mentions here
    http://blog.hilandco.com/2010/05/How-to-show-BLOB-type-column-as-image.html

    But I remember that I was able to create items in reports with the functions of the Apex, I think they were APEX_ITEM package, so I want to know if there is a way to create the '+' display Image + element with a function of APEX.

    Thank you.

    Always specify if "report" means the report standard or interactive.

    This post was obsolete when it was written. Use the built-in support of BLOB.

    Resizing of the declarative BLOB images in reports is simple using CSS. Add a style sheet with:

    td[headers="PHOTO"] img {
      display: block;
      width: 40px;
      border: 1px solid #999;
      padding: 4px;
      background: #f6f6f6;
    }

    where the value of the PHOTO in the attribute selector is the ID of the image column table header. Define only a single dimension (in this case the width) will scale the image with the correct proportions. (Background, padding and border properties are just eye candy...)

    However, the scaling of the images in the browser in this way is a huge waste of bandwidth and product of lower quality images than to create good scaled down versions using image tools. Image download megapixel and then to reduce them to the size of the thumbnail result in needlessly pushing millions of bytes which will never be seen.

    For better performance and image quality, and where you need specific image scaling of the best approach is to use the ORDImage database object to produce thumbnail and preview automatically versions. Unfortunately, this is not possible in Oracle XE as multimedia is not included :-(.

  • How to change the resolution of the image without actually modifying its size?

    So I'm changing the resolution of the 100 images at 300, but they are all different sizes, so I tried to use the function of the size of the Image to change the resolution, but it also changes size of the images. So, how can I without changing the size of the image?

    1. you must resample.

    2. you can automate the process.

    1.

    Open one of the images.

    Go to Image > Image size

    Set the units of percent (100)

    Change the resolution to 300 dpi (not cm!)

    Do Resample is checked

    2 Automation

    Test the steps above to make sure it works.

    Save the steps as an action.

    Make a droplet of the action.

    Drag the folder with the images of gout.

  • Get the width/height of the current image / information of KING of user input

    Hello

    I have two problems:

    First of all:

    Y at - it an option to get the width and height of the image to use for calculations or set a return on investment for the right settings?

    Second (more complicated):

    I have used Labview 8.5 custom interface (see the interface.jpg attachment).

    I am trying to get the return on investment of the Interface and use it in my app Builder of Vision, but I don't see the return on investment or its size or position or something...

    Is it possible to get this information from the Interface?

    Information:

    I use Vision Builder 2009 SP1, LabVIEW 8.5

    Thanks for your replies!

    Hello

    I missed that when I tested it... the display image control must have been larger than the size of the image and the property node returned the value that I expected.

    A restriction of the VI to Interface custom that you create in LabVIEW, is that it cannot have any dependencies (call any subgroup screws), other than the methods and the nodes property of the objects you put on. Therefore, I can't just call IMAQ GetImageSize her. So it does not seem possible at this point for the VI of custom Interface return the size of the image.

    The solution, at this stage, to get the size of the image of the Interior Vision Builder AI, is to use a step in LabVIEW Run, calling a simple VI that takes an image as input, called IMAQ GetImageSize and return res X and Y.

    Note that for purposes of distribution, when you call a VI using a LabVIEW execution step, you must save it as a source distribution in a Bachelor's degree in LAW and you must redistribute this llb with your inspection. See using setup step run LabVIEW for more details.

    Sorry there is no better way to do this now.

    Best regards

    Christophe

    I am slot as Windows 7 Pro on a Dell Intel 64 bit pc with a screen HD Dell I5 and Intel HD graphics 4600 driver.  PC woke up a few hours of inactivity, after no updates known to windows or other programs, with icons and pages double size beyond the limits of the monitor, setting the low resolution and Device Manager showing ' no generic pnp monitor low resolution ' instead of 'Monitor Dell HD' and no option to increase the resolution.  No help with reset, not restoration, disconnection and reconnection monitor auto plug n Play, 'Search new device', 'add a device', update of the graphics driver, reinstall the drivers from the Dell monitor.  Troubleshooting peripheral reported to date and working correctly.  After I finally uninstalled driver restarted, and graphic displays "default monitor" Device Manager (no longer "generic low resolution"), no graphics driver identified, but don't allow me to change to a higher resolution.  New windows had to be individually size / expanded to fill the screen.  This can be corrected?  I want to optimize my display settings for this monitor.  I have reinstall my graphics driver or just be happy that I can use my computer?  Thank you.

    Call Dell.  Your monitor should have a 3-year warranty.  Your matching OptiPlex with a warranty of one year more.

    Also, check all the hidden and invisible buttons on the monitor.  Someone may have inadvertently changed one of these.

  • How to stop IE11 to change the resolution of the page based on which monitor it is on

    I have two monitors with the same resolution (1920 x 1080). For some reason any when I have Internet explore open on the monitor on the left, everything seems fine, but when I drag it (or open a new ie window) for the second screen in the Web page is huge. It seems to change resolution of the page. the screens are extended and all the parameters of the monitor are the same for both monitors.

    I tried using ctrl + scroll to make the page smaller on the screen to the right but then if I drag the page is to say back to the left screen everything is tiny.

    Monitor #1 = left screen

    Monitor #2 = right screen

    Main monitor switching does not alter right screen is always greater on ie

    This happens not with Chrome or any other program only IE

    This DPI scaling setting do you use?  If check you that it is either 100%, or one together to use "the same level of scaling for all my views" so that he does not seek to change for each display.
