Resolution scanner Officejet Pro 276dw stuck at 300 DPI max

The maximum resolution of scanner is now a reason any stuck at 300 dpi (see image below).

Some time ago I was able to analyze with much higher resolutions, but somehow, this has changed now and higher resolutions are unavailable in the menu more.

How can I activate the sweep of the higher resolutions?

Hi Casey_

You can try to change the parameter indicating the feeder flat to see if you can change the DPI settings.

Located in the bottom right of the software screenshot.

I'm sorry, but to get your question more exposure I suggest posting in the trade forums since it is a printer. You can do so at http://h30499.www3.hp.com/hpeb/ .

I hope this helps.

  • OfficeJet pro 276dw printing without margins

OfficeJet Pro 276dw will not print image without border on any other than 8.5 x 11 paper. How do I eliminate the margins for printing of good bordedless on smaller paper sizes? It isn't even an option to select the paper "borderless 4 x 6 or 5 x 8". Only the standard 4 x 6, 5 x 8 are available.

  • Receive a fax manually on the Officejet Pro 276dw with a telephone

Is it possible to receive a fax manually, on the 276dw Officejet Pro by answering the phone line, the fax using a telephone in another area of the House and enter a code? (My Fax is not on a dedicated line and auto answer is disabled.) I see an answer in the forum that says you can do it on the Officejet Pro 8600 by answering the call on a telephone, press the 1 2 3 digits on the telephone keypad and once the fax tone is heard, the phone can be hung. It would work the same way for this model? If so, is the code same (1 2 3)?

See page 71 of the JO 276 Manual:

    http://h20628.www2.HP.com/km-ext/kmcsdirect/emr_na-c03753518-3.PDF

No, there is no option to enter a key code on this model printer to manually collect and receive a fax message.  Users must walk on to the control panel and press the Start button, whenver black or start color, automatic answer is off.

  • Printing HP Officejet Pro 8600 stuck in the queue - Wireless Intermittent

We have a HP Officejet Pro 8600 (CM947A) that we used it for several years without problem.  I use the version of Windows 7 Professional 64-bit.  We have two PC that print wireless.  There were several days of work began to get stuck in the print queue of the printer for both PC to print.  I can cancel the printing of the queue, but the next task will be stuck again.  I print Microsoft Word documents contain a single sentence.  The problem goes away if I restart the printer, but the problem comes back the next morning.  I have re-installed the software print and changed the channel on the router on channel 8 that uses the null in the region.  The printer firmware is up-to-date.  The HP printing software and doctor Scan has not solved the problem. The indicator on the right side of the printer's pale blue wireless is enabled when the problem occurs.  When print jobs are stuck in the queue, I can not connect to the printer by typing the IP address in a browser window.

This problem has been resolved by the above phone support number.  We have solved the problem by changing the encryption on the router to WPA2 to WPA + WPA2.   The router is a Belkin Wireless G Plus MIMO Router P57746-B.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8500 stuck on every print job

    Hello

I have an OfficeJet 8500 Pro directly connected via USB (not via the USB hub) to a 2013 running 10.8.4 iMac

The printer is recognized (if I remove and re-add). But will only print one document at a time and must be rebooted between each print.

If I go to the HP utility and try to view the supplies or device information, I have to display the progress "during extraction of information" for 15 minutes. I have to force quit the program (which is reported as does not).

I have "reset printing system" in system preferences, which removed the printer. I put in place again without problem, while the Mac should be detect.

Need a firmware update? If so, is it possible to a Mac?

    Thank you.

    Hi mike@wall,

Thank you for the information. You are correct in your understanding that the built-in drivers should be you to print several pages at a time. I would say first for this question to verify and repair disk permissions. I've included the document '12.x disk utility: repair disk permissions', this will/try to correct all of the permissions that are set incorrectly on the Mac. Once permissions have been verified and repaired, it is recommended to restart the Mac. Once your computer has restarted, try downloading the latest drivers for Apple printing. I've included the link here for «printer HP v.2.16.1 for OS X drivers» Yet once the update is installed please restart your computer once more.

If this fails to solve the problem, have you tried another USB cable?

So is there any error messages when you cannot print? (IE. Printer offline, Communication, the printer paused).

Please let me know if that fixes the problem, thanks.

    Hello

Unfortunately, my printer is stuck in a boot loop, even though installation on my PC says the printer is configured and ready to use.

I loaded the printer with paper, ink and done all the steps described in the instructions supplied with the printer.

    Thank you for your help

Have you tried to reset the printer unplug it while it is on and leaving it for a few minutes?
Maybe it will go beyond this phase of initialization in this way.

  • HP Officejet Pro 276dw: printer is no longer connected to the internet.

Via the web browser, I indicated (no doubt) that the administrative tasks have been banned from the control panel. Subsequently, identify yourself via the control panel is not possible.

But today, I accidentally disable network functionality of my printer (also via the web browser).

Result: through the browser I have more access to administrative tasks, because 'https://192.168.x.xxx' is unreachable! And as we have already mentioned, restore the network via the Control Panel also connection is not possible. Even restore factory settings is not possible.

This wrong manipulation happened while I was testing the possibilities via webbrowser.

Furthermore, I use Linux OS and works with the hplip driver, and I think that the DVD does not a recovery for Linux program?

But I would be very grateful to HP when someone can help me.

Is there a way to reset the printer via the hardware?

Or is there another possibility to restore the network connection on my printer?

    HI Kristoffel,

On your printer, please try and press 4 times the arrow to the left to access the Help menu. From there, navigate to find the factory reset option. Please let me know if you do not find this menu.

  • OfficeJet Pro 276dw MFP receives but does not print faxes

We see fax incoming page-by-page on the machine, but it does never print.  We can send faxes fine and were able to receive faxes not so long ago.  We crossed on the MFP and the PC settings and everything looks OK.  It's a dedicated fax line.  It will show again received OK when we print a report of the faxes sent/received, but it prints ever.  Thank you.  Here are our current settings:

Updated the software of the printer, re-sat connections and also rebooted the machine and it works now.  Will update if the problem recurs.

  • OfficeJet Pro 276dw does that mean?

It lists the following in the who is included:

"Yes, 1 USB, 1 Ethernet cable (AP); 1 cable USB (LA); "No, to buy a cable (USB) separately (NA, EMEA).

He starts saying 'yes' and in the Middle it says 'no '.

    Hello

This means that the printer port USB, BUT you must buy a USB cable if you want to use the USB connection. I believe AP region has a USB cable in the box. (AP: Asia-Pacific).

    Kind regards.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8610: Helps the scanning resolution and economy. BMP

When scanning resolution is poor, how can I increase it to 300 DPI max... How to save picture under. BMP it currently only gives three options, PDF, OCR, or JPEG

Well well after literally hours of Googling being impossible to find anything at all on this unit or any other site, a friend suggested that I open the area to set up scanner on Mac itself... and to my amazement after a little digging here, I was able to find the settings for the CIO and the file type save high-resolution BMP images.
Why hell HP do not display anything in their pages help or on the LCD of the printer to indicate how do, I'm not sure. I'll be happy to send a screenshot to anyone who needs this info.

    Hi @kskhater,

It may be best to contact Apple to make sure everything is configured correctly and the necessary ports are open.

You can create a second admin account, is not on the privileges, it is to determine if there is a problem with your user profile. The question might have something to do with your printing system. I know that the issue is scanning, but the printing system, it's what the driver, and since we already have reset the printing system, Apple may need to reload, or the operating system. Create a second user account will help determine whether the problem is related to your account.

As you can see, at this point, we are at a stage of diagnosis, troubleshooting is the process of elimination. To identify the cause in order to solve the problem.
