Restart concurrent managers

Hi all

all versions of EBS

This is the procedure that I do to restart cm.

1 adcmctl.sh stop apps/apps

2 kill-9 FNDLIBR (process)

3. adcmctl.sh start apps/apps

Is this right?

Thank you very much

JC

Hello

cmclean. SQL has been deprecated - should not be used.

Use the recovery tool Wizard - MOS Doc 134007.1 - CM I had given this reference in my previous update.

  • Concurrent Manager to the CCR failover

    Hi all

    We have configured Oracle Applications 11i with node 2 CARS. I have a confusion.

    Recently, one of the instance is down due to which competitor node is also down. It is a 3-tier application.

    DB on a node, simultaneously on a single server node and application and report on a node.

    In my case when the instance we went to bed, the competing application or the session would failover to the surviving instance happened in our case.

    I wanted to know if the simultaneous session are toggled to surviving or this node should I set up a simultaneous failover.

    PCP is not configured in our case.

    I need your suggestion on this.

    Please suggest.

    Thank you

    Hello

    Simultaneous failover can be implemented successfully by setting the APPLDCP parameter on it and FNDREVIVER to allow the context file.

    Set the CFP on off and checked the failover profile by taking the instance down where concurrent managers are up. Renovator will start the ICM on surviving instance and ICM will show other concurrent managers.

    Please try all of the above settings and check the failover without PCP with node 2 CARS.

    Hi Shakti,

    I already said that the CFP is not configured in our case we have a server manager simultaneous and a single request and 2 DB node.

    Thanks for all the help.

  • Concurrent processes

    Hello

    In R12, if I knock adstpall.sh of services, there are some concurrent managers, and processes that are still running after 15 minutes.

    I used to kill them.

    Is there a better way? what I need to run cmclean.sql or bounce the database after killing the process?

    Thank you.

    The simultaneous processes of BONE usually take more time to terminate in comparing it to other application processes, so when you need to stop the services application wait like 5 minutes after running the script and check the process.

    So, in the two scenarios above, will I run cmclean before adstrtall.sh?

    Not required but it is recommended.

  • Competitor not starting not not to DR after passage in the

    In the concurrent Manager log as its display error

    Kindly help me to solve this problem.

    Thanks and greetings

    Villi Kumar

    Hello

    The problem is solved now concurrent Manager is up and running after the digital switchover.

    Solution:

    After the passage of the database:

    ------------------------------------------

    Complete the Configuration of database:

    ----------------------------------------

    connect the apps/primaryapps

    SQL > exec fnd_net_services.remove_system ('HRDR');

    SQL > commit;

    SQL > exec fnd_conc_clone.setup_clean;

    run the automatic configuration on db

    lsnrctl stop STHRDR

    lsnrctl start STHRDR

    Synchronization of the application:

    -------------------------------

    disable the listener applcaiton both on the odes before running the automatic configuration.

    Run the autoconfiguration on cm node service

    Run the autoconfig on the node of the Web

    Check the node values using query below:

    ----------------------------------------------------

    Select nodeName in fnd_nodes;

    Select CONCURRENT_QUEUE_NAME from FND_CONCURRENT_QUEUES where CONCURRENT_QUEUE_NAME like '% FNDSM'; ---> to the result of the query, for me web node hostname only came so I ran script below.

    @%FND_TOP%\patch\115\sql\afdcm037.sql ---> this script updates the table with the details of the cm node

    now, it seems very well.

    Select CONCURRENT_QUEUE_NAME in the FND_CONCURRENT_QUEUES where CONCURRENT_QUEUE_NAME like '% FNDSM ';

    Then restart all servers.

    Now start the database and applications.

    Problem will solve itself.
