Restart numbers after CS5 previous level

I have several books with lists numbered boxes of embedded text box. In each of the sidebars, I have lists numbered, set up as a numbered list of level 2 updates restart numbers after any previous level and the title, which comes just before the list in each text box, such as a numbered list of level 1 with any whole number upward so that it is not actually numbered.  My problem is that the numbers reset. I go to the first element in each of these lists and assign one because they continue the numbering from the previous text manually box. They are supposed to restart after the title, but the title seems to be ignored. Why the "restart numbers after any previous level" does not work.  Have I set up something wrong?

Change the mode of the column (with no number) to track previous to start at number.

  • How do restart numbering list

    Hello world

I don't know it's really simple that I don't know, but what I'm trying to do is to restart the numbering after each H2 (in red in the picture) I played around with all the settings and can't get out.

    numbering issue.jpg

So basically I want to just "3. Read text below... "to actually be #1. I gave them all the same style and it will be a great document to give each set of numbers of their own style is not really realistic (I don't think)

Any help is appricaited or if you would like more information, just let me know, thanks in advance

EDIT: I was playing around and managed to get the effect I wanted, but I don't know how I did it, and so also the next low level now works it's own system without rebooting so I basically always the same problem. Any help would be great, thanks

Well so I found / worked on the solution without hacking it (so much), but only with the help of parts of these two ideas that have been suggested so thank you...

What I had to do was:
    (1) make sure that all styles to consider in the heirachy used the same style of list

    (2) that the style that will act as the level of "resetting" 1 BUT make sure that it doesn't actually show the number (so it's like a hidden level)

    (3) make the style where the numbering begins too level 1 (don't know why but it's what works)

    (4) make the next level of style 2 (I guess this would go on infinitely, but I'm not sure)

It seems to work great so far but I could not got there with the Sandee & Willi from the start index, thank you so massive. (should I mark this as resolved or something?)

  • Update of FF, message says to restart to complete the previous update. I reboot with the same message. Tried to uninstall. Same message, even in Safe Mode.

I tried to update Firefox and repeatedly getting this message: "your computer must be restarted to complete a previous update of Firefox. Do you want to restart now? "If I click on no, nothing happens." If I click Yes, it restarts and I get the same message all over again. I tried to uninstall the program and get the same message, even in Safe Mode. I tried to start with a configuration of the previous system, but the computer would not give me the dates of previous configuration. I am running XP, and I deleted Internet Explorer, so I can't access the Internet on this computer. I tried to install the update by downloading the upgrade on another computer and transfer it to a flash drive, but I got the same results. If I go to control panel configuration/Add / Remove Programs, it says I have Firefox Version 13.0.1. For about 6 months before this incident, I get a message when I load Firefox, who said that he could not install an update attempt. If I clicked OK, at least he'd still go the old version. Now, he will do even that.

Hello, the installation of #3 in the initial response folder is referring to the entire directory "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox", not any subfolder or file in particular. If the directory is still present after uninstalling firefox via the windows control panel, and then if it please delete the whole folder "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox" & try reinstalling firefox afterwards.

  • Updated since version 7 or 8 during the installation SETUP message - your computer must be restarted to complete a previous update of Firefox. Do you want to restart now?

Updated since version 7 or 8 during the installation SETUP message - your computer must be restarted to complete a previous update of Firefox. Do you want to restart now? Options are 'yes or no'. Option 'Yes' restarts my computer & the attempts to Firefox, I get the same message. Reboot several times has no effect. The option 'no' closes the file and nothing happens. Running XP Pro version 2002 SP 3. All normal programs have been updated to the current date (Adobe, Java, etc.).

Do a cleaning (re) install and delete the folder of the program Firefox (C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\).

Download a new copy of Firefox and save the file to the desktop.

Uninstall your current version of Firefox if possible.

    • Do not remove the data of a personal nature when you uninstall the current version or you lose your bookmarks and other data in the profile folder.

Delete the program folder Firefox before installing newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.

    • It is important to remove the Firefox program folder to delete all the files and make sure that there is no problem with the files that were the remains after uninstallation.

Your bookmarks and other profile data stored in the Firefox profile folder and will not be affected by a relocation, but make sure that you do not select delete data of a personal nature if you uninstall Firefox.

Unfortunately not. The only thing I can suggest is something like Macro Express where you can automate all kinds of actions.

  • Satellite A200 restarts continuously after Windows update

    Hey all,.

The model Satellite A200 - 1 GB (PSAE6E) worked perfectly for two years now (with Vista 32-bit).
Since running windows update yesterday and restart, the laptop summer stuck in a reboot loop, restart immediately after the 'POST' (the Toshiba logo, etc) screen with a flash of blue screen.

The bios was not updated since purchase (this is version 1.4), but I can't update because it seems that the only update provided by Toshiba requires windows.

Someone has any idea how to fix the computer without having to reinstall windows? No matter what?

    Hello

I doubt that it could be a hardware error (my personal opinion) but nothing is impossible, that you know
The fact is that a BSOD can be caused by hardware error, but also a serious software problem
In my opinion, something went wrong during the update

If you are not able to boot the operating system even by using a safe mode then a new install of the OS would be the last chance to get this sort problem

I think you should try a new installation to see if this could be a hardware problem because there is a small remnant of risk that this could be a hardware problem

  • Re: Satellite X 200: Vista restore after format low-level HARD drive

    Hello

I would like to know if the CD of my Satellite X 200 recovery tools is able to restore my drive after a low-level format?

Waiting for them, thanks a lot.

    Hello

The use of the Toshiba Recovery CD would be to format the whole HARD drive and to relocate again the entire image of Toshiba.
This means that all the operating system Windows Vista, Toshiba drivers, tools and additional software would be installed on your HARD drive 200 X.

I hope this is the information that you need.

I would be grateful, if you can provide us with the following information to help us better understand the question?

    1. have you made changes on the computer before this problem?

2 you receive error messages or codes to the computer restarts?

I suggest you to follow the below methods and check.

Method 1: perform the clean boot.

Place your system in the clean boot state helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem. Check this question in the clean boot state.

Reference: How to perform a clean boot in Windows

  • 2 minute delay in the RESTART system after Windows 8 upgrade to 8.1

After the upgrade to Windows 8.1 I now see a delay in the RESTART function.  After you select the RESTART, the system terminates normally.  The power light stays on, the screen goes into sleep mode, but the system will wait 2 minutes before restarting.  After two minutes, the system appears to start Windows normally (as it does a cold start).  The delay is a uniform period of 2 minutes.

Update being suspended operations may be something, but it is difficult to say. I did a little research and I see events with ID in the 200 are associated stop (100 are related startup).

This page deals with the anatomy of the judgment (and use the Performance tool to try to trace issues):

Of your description and reading the information on this page, it looks like that your hangs occur during the KernelShutdown Phase.

Installation of the Toolkit and the follow-up of decisions are certainly advanced.  Let's just dig a little deeper.  In your registry, be sure that the value is 0 (zero) for the key ClearPageFileAtShutdown registry at this location:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management

In addition, we were able to test to see if there is a slow unloading kernel mode driver seeing if the same blocking occurs when the closure of the safe mode.  If it is fast (and it's of course better be!), we can try by using the process of elimination to find the culprit.
