• Restrict the metadata field during an update to a specific group of users

  Hi all
  
  I have some difficulty to find the best way to restrict permissions to change some fields of metadata for 2 different groups of users.
  
  I have two user groups, A and b. Group A will check in the documents that group B will then review for accuracy and quality. Group B will then update an optionlist field called "State" with "recommended" or "not recommended".
  This is not a situation of workflow as the scope requires that all documents are immediately available for research. I currently have a profile CheckIn and search for content to read write access for both groups A and B. The 'Status' field is hidden on the page of CheckIn. Can someone please suggest a good way to limit the 'Status' field on a page to update users to simply "B"? Groups A and B must be able to update all the fields except for the limited B field "Status".

  Hey rMac,.
  I understand in this way you have a profile for A and B groups of users. On this profile status field is hidden.

  If this is your problem, you can the two-step approach, while making the rule in order to hide the status field, use the activation of rule condition. Make active only for users with A role. This way even with the only profile some of the user with the role B will be able to see the status field.

  Alternatively, you can put a similar code to restrict the link of personalization where you make this hidden field editable and mandatory for users in B.

• The add-on "Disconnect" no longer displays the drop down correctly after updating Firefox to v29.

  This extension Add on "Disconnect", after the upgrade to Firefox 29 now shows only a tiny drop-down box when the user clicks on the vs. all of the menu drop down. Before upgrading it worked fine. It does this in addition to the icons of tool at the top right of the window (to the left of the drop-down list new Firefox) or adding to the Firefox menu itself as an additional icon. The extension appears to work in regards to blocking add/continuation, as before, just cannot see what is on the menu drop down. Already tried disabling and no reactivation, no change.

• Why isn't the AWS_ACTION process field not updated by the action of the user in the workspace in a PDF file?

  I have a PDF (not XDP) form that is routed in the workspace for a number of reviewers.  The shape has built-in validation in the preSubmit form that validates the various fields according to the measure taken and where the form is current.  I added 2 user Actions (Submit and save the draft) in the assign task operation.  The buttons are displayed in the workspace as expected.  When the user clicks on I want to put a variable in the PDF file that I can use to understand what to validate.

  I proceeded fields and form bridge on the first page of a 2 page form.  When the user clicks on the user's Action in the workspace the AWS fields are updated with the exception of AWS_ACTION.  AWS_ACTION is never updated with the name of the Action for the selected button.  AWS_CHOICE has a valid list of action names.

  If I use a field AWS_ACTION XDP file is updated correctly.  There are a number of signature in the process so that I have to keep the PDF file.  AWS_ACTION works correctly with PDF files or I have something set configured?

  We use the ES4.

  I do not have a server at home, in the office and so I worked the example I

  will not be able to send ACL, but I cannot send the xfa form.

• vCO presentation dynamic update of the action of MySQL DB

  I create a workflow to write and read from a database.  My current use case is that I want to run the workflow and type in a project code.  This ID of project I want to search the MySQL database and update the fields of the presentation with the information that was found.  Currently, the only thing that appears is "[Ljava.lang.Object;@7b2be5d9" instead of the actual content.  I use actions to read and write to the database.

  In my presentation:

  First step - Enter Key

  Step 2 - display the name of the project based on the off button

  In properties, I have the default action value 'GetAction("Development","getProjectFromDB").call (#key, #tableau)'; (This field fills with'[Ljava.lang.Object;@7b2be5d9').

  What I'm trying to do, is get the field to be filled with the content rather than the JavaObject. I get the content once I have send the form and passes it through the workflow.

  I thought about it.  I needed to take the table and convert it to a string.  This allowed me to run ".getProperty (column_name)" on the ActiveRecord.

  He returned the string I was looking for.

  No, the simple reason being that updates can possibly replace shared components that may not be related to a specific program or version and would so affect all apps and force also to update. For example a common question is updated Acrobat, then programs such as InDesign and Illustrator is not able to deal with the files PDF correctly due to replaced PDF libraries and presets. Similarly there could be updates critical security even for legacy applications that require a broad approach. It's all or nothing...

  I have thousands of PDF files that are uploaded to a web server. The files have annotations in them that a subtype is the 'link' and that under action type is "start".
  This is because that previous files are included on a CD, so all paths were based on locations on the CD.

  I was able to successfully retrieve all annotations with the following:

  First, get the annotation with the specified number (i2) of the specified page (page):

  Hi Mohamed/Samba,

  There is a solution to remove confusion for the end user. It requires a cool little General admin config, but it works beautifully from a point of view of the end-user. It's a little complicated to describe, but I'll do my best.

  -Create a new SPD DD called, for example, ActionItemStatus. You must create a corresponding list of values in the list of DD pp, for example: pending, complete, canceled.

  -Then you create 1 again for each status value (all configured with the new "ActionItemStatus" DD, in my example here it is 3 News: ifAIStatusPending, ifAIStatusComplete, ifAIStatusCanceled)

  -You add the 3 news to the single instance BP (information on the project)

  -On the BP MM change you the former status of action point TO use the old DD for the new "ActionItemStatus" DD

  -On the BP THE remove you the former status of point of Action IN the form of HAVE it (does not need more)

  -You add the 3 news to higher forms HAVE (hidden block) and then configure to auto-pop of the single instance BP "project information".

  -Now the thing: you config have all 3 of Reverse-auto-pop line MM point "Action point rank" OF using the new conditional RAP, RAP that is as follows:

  -RAP OF "ifAIStatusPending" when superior HAVE form status = pending

  -RAP OF "ifAIStatusComplete" when superior HAVE form status = Complete

  -RAP OF "ifAIStatusCanceled" when superior HAVE form status = canceled

  - As an end user you then go to the "Project information" unique instance BP and set each of the news as follows: ifAIStatusPending = 'Pending', ifAIStatusComplete = 'Complete', ifAIStatusCanceled is "Cancel".

  -user adds a line item I (HAVE status is empty at this time)

  -the 3 news in the hidden AI top shape block get AP with the values of the instance unique record of BP

  -l' end user sees only a single State on the MM line which also automatically changes the status to HAVE it (with RAP)

  As I said, there is an overload of config admin, but there is a lot of value from an end-user perspective, then sometimes worth the pain of the admin! In addition, it is difficult to describe, so if you can not follow my explanation please let me know and I'll try to clarify.

  I have been playing with vCAC 6.0 for quite awhile (now updated vCAC 6.0.1) and have created a plan that will clone with Windows Server R2 model 2012. Comments agent has not been installed because I wanted only to lift the machine up and running with customization specifications created in vCenter.

  The plan was working as expected after I created the service, part of the catalogue and clearances. After that, I converted the virtual computer model to update the model with new Windows patches, and then convert back to model. Now when I try to create a new master plan, selected the workflow of clone and search for the model, the model that I've updated does not exist in the list. Curious, too, I went to change the blueprint and attempted to review for the model, and it does not appear on the list more. In fact, I created a model of linux (CentOS) at some point after the installation of the vCAC, and I don't see the list as well.

• Why the actions of film must be fixed

  Here´s the simplest example of why the interactivity doesn´t film works entirely on the edge.

  In the project below is nothing but a 3D animated film clip imported (that works) and a button to tell the movie to play (which also works).

  The actions of the video element included in animate dashboard do not work properly. Animate using video element HTML5 standard API Javascript, so if the browser supports HTML5 and video format used, the code works.

  The problem is this: in the file edgepause.zip that you posted, you use timeline triggers to suspend your video elements - but you're not playing or control the timeline itself somehow. Let me break it down into the issues that arise so:

  1. Automatic reading of the scene is not checked - this means that the (stage) scenario principal never play, IE all the triggers of break that you define in the timeline never does run. So even if you click on the button to start playing the video element - the chronology gets ever made for play in your code, and therefore your triggers never run. Make sense?
  2. Because you try to synchronize video triggers items in the timeline, you need to do more that just play the timeline to start everything. You must also control the timeline and video elements simultaneously in your code - also, a race condition occurs (a single pass will run away from the other). This is because the video elements have their own time track internal, independent of the timeline constructs used in Animate. In this regard, the video clips are similar to montages of Animate symbol - once said to play, they will play regardless of the script containing unless otherwise with the code. So in your comp timeline both the video element must be synchronized with code works as expected.

  If we address these issues by controlling the video as well as the timeline at the same time - element to all code (both button click event and triggers chronology).
