• Captivate 4, import the image doesn't have a transparent background

  I'm going dotty with import image Captivate. I have 2 Hemera Photo objects 5000 image and Images Business development programs. When I export on their part to TIFF, GIF, PNG etc. and import into Captivate the PNG has a transparent background, which is great. That is until I saw my project or publish to SWF then the grey background.

  Is it possible to import the image in order to keep a transparent background in Captivate? It takes the images appears behind text or other images and must have a transparent background. I can't do this project without pictures. For example the picture below:

  When you import images into Captivate 4, you are able to choose the color to make transparent. Have you tried selecting specifically?

  To do this, insert the image and get in the slide. Double-click it so that you see the Image Properties dialog box. Follow what is described in the chart below:

  Note that while I am able to get the email, do some research on the Internet, etc., that the update itself seems to be the culprit the disconnection of Internet while performing the check.  I closed all applications and even rebooted the IPad and then tried to run the update, but still get the same message.  Any other suggestions?

  This is my 1st attempt to digitize old 35mm color slides. At the first trial, the scanner produces four good images. On the next sweep attempts, it produces only a single image containing four slides and a message in the printer says "no scan options".

  I tried your troubleshooting ideas: unpluggng the printer, uninstall/reinstall the software HP & pilot.

  All other functions of the word OK printer. Any ideas?

  Thank you, Sean.   Scanning is now the induvidual pictures production. But I had todo several other procedures.

  I have reset the printer according to your instructions, but it had the same negative results.

  I then unplugged the power from the printer and the signal cables, and then reconnected them and restarted the printer. I then reset the printer by you instructions.  I restarted my iMac's "HP Scan", selected slides in the HP scan profiles and pressed 'Scan '.  The result was four individual images.

  There is no bar in WLMail 2011 and 2012. What version do you use? The last version to work under XP (this forum) is WLMail 2009 and having a Menu bar with file on it.

  Hello. I'm working on 9.0 Solution on a University Campus. I'm working on the module of Community Campus. I face a problem like below:

  Campus Community > personal information > add/update a person > regional page

  According to the PeopleBook Campus Community 9.0 Basic Page 448, stating: "from the date of this publication, Canada, Netherlands and USA the functionality is available in a PeopleSoft Campus Solution."

  There are 5 regional countries: New Zealand, Australia, Canada, Netherlands and USA.

  But in my computer, there is none of the 5 countries in regional page.  I checked it by steps as below:

  Step 1:

  Set Up AWAR > install > Installation of Campus Community: activate all options.

  Step 2:

  Set Up AWAR > install > Installation Admin student: activate all options. On the features of his page, I turn on CRM, AUSTRALIA, CANADA, New Zealand, Netherlands, United Kingdom.

  Step 3:

  In the Manager of the trees, I created a tree of the AREA to provide data in the area of recruitment and admission for the different regions for the University.

  I find no error concerning regional page doesn't have the 5 countries: New Zealand, Australia, Canada, Netherlands and USA.

  My question is:

  How to solve the problem that "Community Campus > personal information > add/update a person > regional page" doesn't have the 5 countries?

  If you look at the regional Page in the App Designer, you will find that it has only the following subpages which vary by country:

  SCC_PERS_ANZ_SBP - New Zealand specific (there might be some similarities with the Australia as well)

  SCC_PERS_AUS_SBP - Australia

  SCC_PERS_CAN_SBP - Canada

  SCC_PERS_NLD_SBP - Netherlands

  SCC_PDE_USA_H - USA

  If there is no page void specific to the country you're looking for then it would be so not something to display.

  If you want to know the workings of this page in detail, I suggest you run a SQL and PeopleCode trace on the page and see how the page is loaded (including any country-specific logic).

• Trace an image with transparency - bug?

  Try the following: import a PNG or PSD, which consists of WHITE color on a layer line drawings (background is transparent).

  Now run autotrace (fact I just date myself?) Trace the image. Now develop. Look at your document in outline view (off preview mode). Everything you did was a solid white box. Try tracking with "ignore white" lit. Now you get nothing at all.

  It's sort of lame. If I have a line on a transparent background drawings, what could be better for the follow-up?

  Solution: in Photoshop, flatten the white work on a solid black background, reverse and then save it as a TIF with layers off the coast.

  So, Adobe, it's a feature? A bug? It will look?

  What you must have is to select the image in Illustrator and go to Edition > change color > invert the colors and then perform your trace or Trace of Image works like a charm

  It's all white art on a transparent background in photoshop, I open the psd in photoshop converted to illustrator objects and then used the command reverse and did my picture tarce no problem

  Where do you find this scroll?

  Is it in a browser window or in the Download Manager window or another?

  Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).

  BUT do not forget that the FCS has been abandoned by Apple years ago, and the latest Apple operating systems are built without any concern as to the functionality of the FCS.
