Retrieve the prefetch utility

When I type 'prefetch' in the command run, I got a box telling me that he could not be found.

How can I recover this utility?

Usually, prefetch refers to an operation of XP or maybe you are looking for the prefetch folder. It is not a utility.

If the prefetch folder does not open, your PATH statement is false, but you can always get to it by clicking on start, run and in the type box:

If you think that playing around with the XP feature somehow prefetch will improve the performance of your system (some people believe that), you're wrong. If you have time, you can do your own experiments, tests and analysis of timing to see how all this works, but this has already been done, documented and understood. Yet, this is a good exercise.

If you read something in an article that is recommended to delete the prefetch folder, post the URL of the link / so I can read it.

If you encounter a performance problem, I would look elsewhere.

Test things yourself and you will know for sure.

I used to turn off Task Scheduler Service in XP since I had no set up scheduled tasks, but this service is important for the proper functioning and maintenance of the read-ahead feature because it retains the file updated (every three days or if she needs).

Have you replaced it with all new HARD drive? It's very strange question and if the HARD drive is nine something like that shouldn't happen. You have the FDD to check the HDD with FDISC? Please use the floppy drive and boot the disk to check the new HARD drive.

I am installing a new hard drive in my late 2011 13 "MacBook Pro. I started using apple's online retrieval system and went to disk utility. I tried to format the drive, but he is stuck saying "remove disc" for about a half hour, and then I had a rotation beach ball and could not move the cursor. I restarted the computer and now the drive does not appear in the disk utility. Any help is appreciated as I have no idea where to go from here.

Win 7 x 64-OfficeJet 7500 a - Scan of the computer disappeared from the HP utility

I noticed recently that the Scan of the computer, as well as the other options are passed from the HP utility screen. The screen was black with options of 10 or more. Now it's gray with only 4 options. I uninstalled, reinstalled and restarted my computer and it won't.

I have two 7500 s in office and both do the same thing on several machines Win 7 64. It used to work perfectly.

Anyone know what's happened and how to recover all the features?

I have several windows of different sizes and necessary to extract the size of each drawing, document properties page.
this.info object can be used to extract the title, author, subject etc of a document, but there is no properties specified for the extraction of the size of the page.

Retrieve the container after the failure of reindexing

I tried to reindex a container and reindexing failed with an error this table locks ran out of available locks. Then I increased the size of the locks.
After reindexing of a container has failed with an error message: the 6111 page: illegal page type or format and DB XML suggested to run a recovery. I ran recovery, everything went well. Then I re-run the reindex, and again once I got the page 6111: illegal page type or format and DbRunRecoveryException. And so on... (Reindexing-> RunRecoveryException-> successful recovery-> Reindexing-> RunRecoveryException-> successful recovery->...->...)

I tried to use the dbxml utility, it indicates that the container has been re-indexed, however, it was not. On the very next call dbxml shell cry for recovery. And so forth, once again.
Also requests that gave some results before, now return nothing.

The question is: is it possible to retrieve a container somehow. Or at least I should make a backup of a container (as suggested in the literature) and use the backup exactly in these cases?

If you believe that all the useful content is in your container, you can delete and re-create the environment. If there is indeed a bad page in the container which will not help, but it's a start. You can also try using db_verify on the container file, but also the dbxml_dump/dbxml_load. You may end up needing your backup well.

10gr 2-Sybase15-ORA-28545: cannot retrieve the text of the message from NETWORK/NCR
Hi all

I am trying to establish connectivity between Oracle 10 g 2 (Win XP Pro 2002) and Sybase ASE 15.0.2 (Sun Solaris 5.9) by using the transparent gateway for Sybase (TG4SYBS), but encountered the following error. I have looked for a solution quite well in all directions, but so far have been quite unlucky. This is my last resort. I don't really know what I'm doing wrong as I followed the steps of installation and configuration correctly. Please note:
-Oracle transparent gateway software and database are installed in different homes; and,
-J' created and tested the ODBC DSN connectivity with the Sybase server.

The only thing that I have real concern about is the version of the Sybase server 64-bit OS; Windows Oracle server is 32-bit. Are going to count this could be the problem?

SAMSUNG SSD 850evo cannot be read on the disk utility

My macbook pro 13 "mid-2012 has been very slow (20-minute boot) for the past month, so I quickly looked for a cure and thought I have a failing hard drive.

I bought a Samsung 850 Evo 250 gb to replace the failed drive. Following the useful tutorials on youtube, I managed to install the ssd in my macbook pro. However, when I use the recovery of internet to install OS X on the ssd, ssd seem does not appear is not in the list of drives available in disk utility.

Can someone help me why it does not appear in the disk utility?

Get out the SSD drive, install it in an enclosure, connect it to the MBP via USB. Install the original HARD disk and start the MBP. Open disk utility and make sure that the SSD is displayed. If so, you can format it and clone the content for the SSD from the internal HARD drive, if you wish.

However, when you install the SSD drive and if it does not start the MBP, indicating that internal SATA cable needs to be replaced.

If the SSD does not appear in the disk utility when it is connected to the outside, then that indicates that the SSD is defective.

Satellite S50-B-12Z: battery life cycle Option does not appear in the eco utility

Hello everyone.

I am facing a strange problem. The eco utility allows to work ok with win 10 on my S50-B-12Z satellite and I used the eco charging battery I've run mainly my laptop plugged in.

At some point, I need to do a system restore. I have re-installed the 10 victory and also the latest version of the eco utility downloaded from the Toshiba site. The problem is that when I open the utility eco, the choice of "battery life cycle", where you can select the eco reload or not, seems no more! So I find myself with the battery to 80% connected but does not support.

I already tried to uninstall and reinstall the utility or install an earlier version of it.

Is there something I could do in order the choice of "battery life cycle" to reappear or to cancel the State of charge of eco and leave my battery to charge again 100%?

I have the same problem with my P50 - A satellite. Battery-life cycle does not appear in the new eco Win 10 utility installed. Version is: 3.0.0.0006. Older versions do not work, I tried also.

More than 80% of maximum load, not 100% .

Recording on DVD - "Unable to retrieve the table of contents" error

Whenever I try to record on a DVD a face "could not retrieve the table of contents.

I tried to change the recording speed, but no use.

When I go to properties of DVD and click on activate record it does not recognize the DVD or any CD in the drive.

I have not found utility SSD but only the Toshiba HDD/SSD Alert Utility which is usually pre-installed on Toshiba laptops. The TOSHIBA HDD/SSD Alert includes Assistant functions to monitor the disk status on and perform the backup of the system.
The alert function must function SMART failure to predict which monitors the drive in operating condition. If in case the SSD or HARD disk drive supports SMART failure to predict function, the utility should be able to read

With your "pen name" iOSJake... I don't know that you have a suitable ipad... Simply load the free utility for the apple store and config airport away.
