Return from drafts of af: inputListOfValues the values of registers

I use Jdev 12 c.

I have an inputListOfValues set to a column in af:table. I click on the magnifying glass and the dialog box opens. I have search in the dialog box and click a value in the list. I click OK to return the value of the column. Returns OK but the rest of the columns I've entered data in get cleared out.

A few things on the page:

1. There is a button which provides the undo changes. It has #{bindings. Rollback.Execute} as actionListener. When you press after deletion of a line, it clears each grid and the field data in the page and gives an error message related to the transaction.

2. the inputListOfValues dialog box is slow when searching. The source of the list has 75K lines. She returns to the slow table as well. Sometimes a minute when seems should be a second.

3 Tester app Module freezes when you browse the VO this service page.

All the world run in this type of behavior when you work with inputListOfValues?

Kind regards

Dave

first of all, do UI that ins o table controls be autoSubmit

Secondly, regarding slow LOV to the ViewObject LOV, use technique described here:

  • Get the line item id and the value dinamilly with AJAX in tabular form

    Hello

    I have a table with a Popup Lov presentation, when I select something in the Popup of some elements (in the form of table) must be filled with the value returned from a query that uses the ID of Popup Lov (return value) as a parameter.

    How can I get this value and use only for this line?

    Thank you
    Alan

    Hello

    OK - that message sounds ok to me. You would like to check the javascript code after this line to see what he does - some alert() messages can help.

    To add a blank line to a tabular presentation, you can try:

    SELECT NULL Field1name,
    NULL Fieldsname
    FROM DUAL
    UNION ALL
    SELECT Field1name,
    Field2name
    FROM Tablename

    or, if you use 4 Apex, you can add a few::AddRow(); in the parameter "execute when Page Loads ' the page attributes

  • Retrieve the value of the sequence

    Hello

    I'm fairly new to Apex and I have a question about it.

    I have a form that users can fill data and send it in a table.
    The PK is taken from a sequence and submit the value retrieved is put in the table.

    So far so good.

    Now what I want to do is that, on Submit, still recoverable it value of the sequence also be put in another table.
    I did a process with the following source:

    insert into kl_hw (hardware_id_fk, klantnr_fk) VALUES (: P4_HARDWARE_ID, 1);

    But the: P4_HARDWARE_ID has no value yet.
    What can I do to get the value of sequence early or what is the correct way to do this?

    Any help would be appreciated.

  • Update the value of DataGrid

    In this application, I have a DataGrid. What I want to do update the rightmost 3 columns based on the data entered in the Act. Column of gains. Ideally, this will be row-by-row.

    The problem I encounter is that the value in the DataGrid control is not updated quickly enough when the itemEditEnd event is raised. If I return to this line and update the value is entered, the old value will be recovered. How can I work around this problem?

    In addition, another problem I encounter is that the triggerEvent itemEndEdit event value is not give me a value. This is supposed to tell me if the installation has ended due to a mouse event or keyboard. It is also essential to what I'm trying to accomplish.

  • The VI call does not show correct Boolean value returned from Subvi

    I have a Subvi, which returns a Boolean to indicate whether the system is WoW64 or not. When I run this by herself or with a probe VI, I get a TRUE result (my OS is 64-bit Win8, and I am running 32-bit LV2015).  When the VI is called as a Subvi, and the output is wired to a Boolean value on the front of the caller, the value is FALSE, even if it is TRUE inside the Subvi.  The LV2014 code is attached below.  It happens in 2014 but not 2013.  Is there something to do with DLL calls made by the Subvi which is corrupting the Subvi call?

  • AF:inputListOfValues sets the value of the first item in the result set when using enter key or tab and component value autosubmit = true

    I use JDev 11.1.1.6 and when I type in a value in an af:inputListOfValues element and press enter or the tab key, it will replace the value I entered with the first element in the set of results LOV. If enter a value, simply click on the component af:inputListOfValues it works correctly. If I use the popup and find a value it works properly as well. I have a programmatic view object that contains a single transitional attribute (this is the view object that is used to create the list of the components of the value of) and then I have another object from view based on entities which defines one of its attributes in a list of the attribute value. I tried to use a base object view of entity to create the LOV to and everything works as expected, so I don't know if this is a bug when using programmatic view objects or if I need more code in the VOImpl. In addition, it seems after that first of the value being replaced by the first value in the result set that it will work correctly as well. Here are some excerpts of important code.

    Also, it seems that this does not work only if the text entered in the component af:inputListOfValues would have only a single game, returned in the result set. For example, given the result defined in code: Brad, Adam, Aaron, Fred, Charles, Charlie, Jimmy

    If we get into Cha, the component works as expected

    If we register A, the component works as expected

    If we get Jimmy, the component does not work as expected, and returns the first value of results IE. Brad

    If we get Fred, the component does not work as expected, and returns the first value of results IE. Brad

    I also checked that I get the same behavior in JDev 11.1.1.7

    I found a solution to this problem. It seems that, when using a view object programmatic that has a transient as its primary key attribute, you need to override the methods in the ViewObjectImpl so that he knows how to locate the line related to the primary key when the view object records are not in the cache. That's why it would work properly sometimes, but not always. Here are the additional methods that you must override. The logic you use in the retrieveByKey would be on a view view object database object and would be different if you had a primary key consisting of multiple attributes.

    @Override
    protected Row[] retrieveByKey (ViewRowSetImpl viewRowSetImpl, Key key, int i) {
        return retrieveByKey(viewRowSetImpl, null, key, i, false);
    }

    @Override
    protected Row[] retrieveByKey (ViewRowSetImpl viewRowSetImpl, String string, Key key, int i, boolean b) {

        RowSetIterator usersRowSetIterator = this.createRowSet(null);
        Row[] userRows = usersRowSetIterator.getFilteredRows("UserId", key.getAttribute(this.getAttributeIndexOf("UserId")));
        usersRowSetIterator.closeRowSetIterator();
        return userRows;

    }

    @Override
    protected Row[] retrieveByKey (ViewRowSetImpl viewRowSetImpl, Key key, int i, boolean b) {
        return retrieveByKey(viewRowSetImpl, null, key, i, b);
    }

  • List of input values (multi-column) must return the output text once the value is selected

    Hello

    I am trying to achieve conditional:

    I create a searchVO(select '' empNumber from dual) - to accept the input value (name empNumber).

    I create empLovVO (select enum,ename, addr, city of emp). lov attached to empNumber (searchVO).

    In the list of values when I select a value (emp 1, a, xyz, abc), it must return the default aby associated with emp values 1 to my output texts

    the name of the EMP one.

    addr xyz

    City abc

    It should also automatically change the values if I select another empNumber.

    Please let me know how to achieve this.

    Thank you

    Firstly, for the searchVO, add a three other attributes, name, address, and City, the type of string:

    and make sure they are still editable:

    Then, you're mapped LOV enum attribute EmpNumber, right?

    Do similar for the newly created attributes, in the list of values dialog box validation:

    Ename--> name,

    --> addr addr,

    City--> City

    Then, just to show these attributes in the form of output text, and you'll get what you want...

    I have been through ALL the steps as described in http://support.microsoft.com/kb/949358. I have had no success.
    One thing that bothers me, is in the configuration of the system, I have a service called true vector Internet Monitor (Zone Alarm) and when the value disable as in http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135, it is the only service still running when you perform a clean restart. I don't know if this affects the Automatic Updates/configuration or not.

    Hello

    Thanks for trying to help. Now my computer seems to be up-to-date.
    I followed your steps but MicrosoftFixit50202.msi did not like "my OS is incompatible. I use windows 8.  I couldn't run this in default or aggressive.
    I did go in Control Panel and disable antivirus and firewall Zone Alarm and reset Windows defender by default.
    I did IE default web browser I have prob changed when I got to the computer.
    I then returned to set up a clean boot and this time I managed to disable the true vector Internet Monitor (Zone Alarm) to run.
    I ran the reset troubleshooting of Windows with the same result as before is to say:
    Recent updates - not fixed installation problems
    Search for missing or corrupted - files detected
    I think I have restarted my computer at this stage and then tried to update again.
    It has not yet, but with the error, I got an error code and a link to help. I don't have not noticed this before. I followed the help and ran about 5 command prompts that have to do with the renaming of files I think.
    Then I tried updating again and this time 38 45 updates succeeded. I then ran the update again and it seemed to work on the other 7 updates.
    Although Windows Update said I was now updated, I was skeptical as when this whole thing started is started when I got the "windows installs updates" and then "failed to configure updates. Returning... etc"then I restarted my computer. At the start, there was no message on try to configure the updates, then, how do I know they are configured and working as it should?
    Thank you.
  • Returning from universal theme item values - form Page (modal dialog box)-

    Hello

    I use the universal theme - modal dialog (the form page, page 7) and intend to return several values of the item to the page back 2 when the dialog box is closed.

    I'm back from the point values P7_DNAME & P7_DEPTNO of page 7 of the elements P2_DNAME & P2_DEPTNO on page 2 but does not work.

    Form Page - Page 7 (modal dialog box)

    Process - close dialogue

    Items to return - P7_DNAME, P7_DEPTNO (put several points of values here to go back to page 2)

    Report Page - Page 2 (that calls the page 7 of the modal dialog box)

    Here we have a dynamic Action. I use the event ""closed dialogue ' and 'Set value' action "

    Event (closed dialog box) -

    Action - set

    -Define (return goods of dialogue) - P7_DNAME, P7_DEPTNO Type

    -Selection Type (items) - P2_DNAME, P2_DEPTNO [here I am back to several items.]

    If I go back more than one Page values element, it doesn't any idea WHY?

    BUT if I'm back only a single value of point, there works perfectly well.

    Thank you

    Deepak

    You can return multiple items at once and their values are sent along, but you cannot set multiple items with different values by the action of a set value.

    You must create an action of the value set for each element you want to set the value with the value of the element to return.

  • Returns the value of column line

    Greetings!  I currently have a request we will tell

    SELECT value, period FROM MAS_CFUS_KEYACM_CONTROLDATA ORDER BY cf_keyword_ID

    RESULTS

    Period value

    --------------------------

    100.0002 1 JANUARY 14

    -35.68 1 DECEMBER 14

    -1943.67 NOVEMBER 1, 14

    678.0013 OCTOBER 1, 14

    This continues for about 15 results by cf_keyword_ID.

    I'm looking to return the VALUE first in a new column called PREV1, the second value of PREV2, third in PREV3 and so on.  The same goes for the dates.  And all this for only the first 10 values of each cf_keyword_ID.  Can anyone suggest the best way to achieve this?

    Thank you!!

    Hello

    This is called pivoting.  Because I don't have a copy of your table test, I'll use scott.emp to illustrate.

    This shows the first 3 employees for each job, in order by hiredate, along with their hiredates:

    WITH relevant_data AS

    (

    SELECT ename, job, hiredate

    row_number () taken OVER (PARTITION OF work

    ORDER BY hiredate

    ) AS r_num

    FROM scott.emp

    )

    SELECT *.

    OF relevant_data

    PIVOT (MIN (ename) AS ename

    MIN (hiredate) AS hiredate

    FOR r_num (1, 2, 3)

    )

    ORDER BY job

    ;

    Output:

    WORK 1_ENAME 1_HIREDATE 2_ENAME 2_HIREDATE 3_ENAME 3_HIREDATE

    --------- ---------- ----------- ---------- ----------- ---------- -----------

    There are actually more than 3 SECRETARIES and SALESMEN.  Which does not cause an error; the only first 3 are shown.

    As you can see, having less of 3 does not cause any errors, either.

    Re: 4. How can I convert rows to columns?

    I hope that answers your question.

    If this isn't the case, please post a small example of data (CREATE TABLE and only relevant columns, INSERT statements) for all of the tables involved and also publish outcomes from these data.

    Explain, using specific examples, how you get these results from these data.

    If yod post rather a problem using scott.emp, then you need not display the sample data; just results and explanations.

    Always say what version of Oracle you are using (for example, 11.2.0.2.0).

    See the FAQ forum:

    Re: 2. How can I ask a question in the forums?

  • How to locate the values returned by the data adapter

    I have a need to internationalise/locate a string which our data adapter returns to the web client to fill out things like the table of inventory for our type of object.

    In other words, I would need to make the location in my Java code on the service side.

    But what I do not know how to do is how do I know what locale, the answer must be returned for.  I don't get the locale information in the query for the data.

    Looks like I found my answer: I can get information from the UserSession returned by the UserSessionService.

    One thing I discovered, is that the user must connect to the web client with the regional settings in place.  If you change the value of & local once the user is connected, the new value takes effect.  You will need to sign out and then sign back in.

  • fatal error when installing master collection '[FATAL] installation - installation package error C:\Users\Desktop\MasterCollection_CS6_LS6\packages\core\PDApp.pimx. Returns the value of pim_installPackage = - 1

    Hello

    When I try to install a trial like photoshop cs6 or master collection cs6 product, I get the error "Installer has not initialized. I used Adobe cleaner to remove all products cs6 and tried again, but no luck, same error.

    I opened the log file and find this line:

    [FATAL] Setup error - installation package C:\Users\moshe-a\Desktop\MasterCollection_CS6_LS6\packages\core\PDApp.pimx.

    Returns the value of pim_installPackage = - 1

    No idea how to fix?

    Thank you, Momu

    start at the top and work your way down to apply applicable patches until your problem is solved.

    If (win) cc: https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/creative-cloud-desktop-application-failed.html

    If your error is:

    "Setup failed to initialize. File not found. ' or 'could not initialize installation. This could be due to missing files.

    first of all, rename folder OOBE OOBE.old.

    to find the OOBE:

    Win 64 bit OS: Program Files x86\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE

    Win 32 bit OS: Program Files \Common Files\Adobe\OOBE

    Mac os: HD > library > application support of > adobe > caps

    Mac os: USER > library > application support of > adobe > OOB

    If it fails or isn't the exact error you see, uninstall, clean (http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html) and reinstall.

    If you use an installation dvd:

    Copy the contents of the drive in a desktop folder and install from this directory.

    If you are using a mac:

    1. try to create a new user account in Mac with administrator privileges.

    2. connect to the new user, navigate to Mac HD > Application > utilities > Adobe Installer folder, locate products such as Adobe Reader, Adobe Flash, Adobe Air and uninstall the

    3. navigate to the user library > Application Support > Adobe and Adobe put in the trash.

    4. navigate to Mac HD > library > Application Support > Adobe and Adobe put in the trash.

    5 restart the installation.

    If everything is applicable above fails, check your Setup logs:
