• Ianyone of other ridiculous notice how the questions are about the certification exams?

  I just took and failed the test of 11g upgrade.  I tried to upgrade my certification from 10g to 11g.  I did not test certification since 2005 so maybe I'm a bit out of touch, but a lot of questions they were absurd.  I studied for about two or three months for this test, which is a test upgrade, always had to cover a very wide range of knowledge.  Now, I understand that they do not want to make it easy on us, but some questions were right out of left field.  There are maybe 10 or 15 questions that were up as "If you have this parameter is set to true, then, what is the advantage?  I can manage completely questions like that and that's what I studied for, but when they ask questions where you need not only to know all the parameters and then also what that all total possible outcomes could be and then they ask you those more obscure, he just drives me crazy.  It also seemed that some answers were incorrect on a few.   These features are not in the Lightroom Slideshow module. You will need to use another third party software to create these types of slideshows.

  Try to think in terms of having reusable symbols.  Think what it through before you try it.

  Use a movieclip instead of a button symbol.  Have a dynamic textfield in this movieclip to the number and value of the textfield object to not be selectable.  Have a picture of this movieclip where it highlighted as one (selected) and the movieclip go there where you are on this slide.

  Use the textfield for the number - assign dynamically so that you don't have to import an image for it.  Use as many of these clips that you need for all your buttons.

  Have functions that reset all buttons at the same time so that when you move to a new slide, selected earlier dates back to mormal... following with setting one newly selected in his "selected" frame

• How can I create a chart that creates new series each year when the data are not collected on a daily basis?

  I collect numbers "occasionally" of my solar system and to create a standardized chart that shows that the generation on an annual basis, so I can compare fall in the fall of each year, etc..

  Because the information is not strictly 'daily' (just whenever I get to it), I don't know how it normalize for several years.

  For example, if I had

  What I'd like to see is a line graph for each year from January to December with these datapoints on it. I have much more "incremental data" that I presented above, but it's on "random dates" during the last 8 years, and I'm just trying to see how each year compared to other years.

  To be at the front, I tried to understand how this in Excel as well, but he could not understand where the other.

• Object with several States and slider in the "folio" are pixelated, settings seem correct.

  I can't keep an object with several States to be rasterized text, as well as a slider which is also dithering.

• My computer has each network in the selected area to "connect automatically".

  I just bought a new Dell laptop for Christmas with Windows 8, and this is my 1st experience with Win 8.

  I noticed that when I view the list of the networks of all networks within range, all have the "Connect automatically" box checked. I just want to try to automatically connect to my own network. If I uncheck this box for all other networks it makes no difference - when I look at it once again, the box is checked.

  After that research on the internet I found some advice which suggests a right click on the network name and selecting "Forget this network" in the menu that appears. However, right click on the name of any network other than mine does nothing - no menu appears. If I right click on the name of my own network this menu ("Show estimated use, set as connection metered, forget this network," etc.)

  I saw a similar question posted here, as well as the answers given. It did not help. Stopping and starting WLAN Autoconfig Services makes no difference:

  It does not appear to me that this person you have his question resolved adequately, and it seems I have the same concern.

  Why win 8 is configured to automatically connect to all THE networks in the list of available networks, and why I can't uncheck the "Automatically connect" for I will not automatically try to connect to networks? To clarify, I can uncheck the box, but the change is not persistent; If I move my mouse away from this network and then name click on it again, "Connect automatically" is checked once again, apart from the fact that I just unchecked it.

  And why can't click on networks other than my own to get the menu choices that include "forget this network?

  You will need the user variables to store the good and the answer for each question. There are a few system quiz variables that are useful, such as cpQuizInfoAnswerChoice, but they are reused on each slide of the question. This means that you need to assign its value to a variable user for each slide of the question.

  A lot of extra work...

  Then the effect works and would weigh on the finished quiz... BUT... I can't (without a lot of P'ing on) Preview and adjust effects applied to a question slide.

  If you want to test the effects on a particular slide of your pool of the Question, and you don't want to publish all slides to see it, just click with the right button on the slide in the question pool and select move Question to > the project main.

  Then, you will be able to preview the effects as with any other slide.  When you know that the slide is over, just get him back in the Question pool.

• How to separate the question slides?

  Lilybiri, I think that the solution to my problems is very well explained in the posts above I found last night. With a few changes, I could get my course work just as I had originally planned.

  Here's what my structure/feature class now looks like in my test file:

  Title slide

  Video conference 1

  Questionnaire1 Questions (tested with 2 questions multiple choice, 3 possible answers to each)-back to the video conference 1 first incorrect answer; go to video conference 2 success OR the second incorrect answer.

  Video conference 2

  Questionnaire2 Questions (tested with 2 questions multiple choice, 3 possible answers to each)-back to the video conference 2 as soon as the first incorrect answer; go to video conference 3 success OR the second incorrect answer.

  Video conference 3

  .. and so on.

  The notation works, too!

  I'm actually very happy to have found a solution to what seemed to be an impossible feat. Thank you for your help, I appreciate the time you took to answer my questions. As a completely new Captivate user, I think that I learned a lot in the last week, thanks to your contribution, and that of many other generous people on the web.

• Captivate 7 - hide / disable the button 'next' until the question is answered

  We try to make mandatory to answer a question before moving on to the next slide.

  Ideally, we want to hide / remove the following navigation button until the answer to the question.

  Any help would be appreciated

  You found my suggestion to the next button, which is designed as a "Skip" button during Quiz, under the Clear button, which also has the advantage that it can be a confusion between the transmission and the next button indeed and it was certainly also mentioned that it is supposed to not allow movement back and hide the playback bar in this case.

  The buttons on question slides cannot be controlled as the other buttons. They are integrated into the question slide. If you want total control, you must create question slides personalized (lots of work).

  Another approach with the default question slides is to check the required "Answer All" option in Quiz preferences, settings. Or you can use submit all, allowing movement to the rear and a warning appears if all the questions are answered, but you alow to present even in this case.

  And you could try, if you feel uncomfortable with stocks advanced, to create a conditional action on enter for each slide, which displays a form button that will be back next movement button...

  I build a quiz, and I want the user to everything first, answer, see if he was right and then proceed to the next question. I don't want the user to be able to leave questions unanswered.

  In evere question slide, there is a 'next' button and a submit"" button. The user can go backwards or forwards and skip questions. "Is there a way to keep the user on this question slide until responds, or hide the 'back' and 'next' buttons ' until the questions are answered.

  There is also a quiz option > settings > required > Answer All that requires the user to answer each question before you can proceed to the next.

• Satellite A660 - striped black plastics little four on each corner of the screen

  All seemed well, package and everything. Sheet of clear plastic on the sides of the laptop (not on the screen although). I registered it through the Toshiba record Utillity. Yet, on the link: http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/support/jsp/globalEntitlement.jsp says that it is not registered.

  Today, I noticed that the four small black senior round plastic that cover the four screws at each corner of the screen are scratched or damaged a bit around the edges, as if someone had used a screwdriver to remove them. And they are stuck with a kind of glue.

  Shouldn't they be strong and clear? Is that normal, everyone noticed that? Because if this also applies when you buy the laptop directly from Toshiba, I dial it just with it.
