  You could start by uninstalling Bit Defender Total Security, if you have one. Frustration with malfunction of right-click, I did a clean and added hardware installation and software point by point. Right-click crashed the computer as soon as I updated Bit Defender 2010. The problem has disappeared as soon as I uninstalled Bit Defender and installed AVG.   Wireless 5000 mouse & keyboard 3000 V2.0 Wireless both are compatible with Windows 7 so I would like to know the exact error message you received when you tried to install the driver update for the mouse wireless & keyboard?

  For now, you can uninstall the drivers for keyboard & mouse from the Device Manager and restart the computer that will install the default drivers for keyboard & mouse and check if it works.

  1. type devmgmt.msc in the search box start and press ENTER.

  2. in Device Manager, expand the mouse & keyboard listed in the list of devices.

  3. right click on the driver > click on uninstall.

  4 restart the computer. The drivers will install automatically.
