  Try to fully configure your phone from scratch and not use the backup at all.  If your phone still has problems, then it is probably a hardware problem and you will need to bring the phone to Apple for the assessment

  your tone should already by in your ITunes library...  I guess that are customized to you have created... you should be able to synchronize them via iTunes on your new phone.

If I understand correctly, you may not use or play a ringtone on your iPhone that worked in the past, and the same file in iTunes still works. Good news is that you should be able to use iTunes to fix this.

  First, connect your iPhone to iTunes on your computer. Then use the synchronization options to remove this alert sounds on your iPhone by unchecking the box next to it.
