  Only 1 week ago, I bought a Compaq Presario CQ62-217AX a local electrical retailer. But the minute I took the laptop out of the box and turned on I had problems with random blocks etc. I checked online for answers with very limited success. So I checked the event viewer and the error message came as:

  There are several entrances warning that all coincide with the portable gel. When it locked up I can move the mouse and switch between windows but everything stops responding for about 2/3 minutes.

  I was getting this error on a HP g62-435dx.  I tried a number of updates to pilot, updated for the new bios... no luck.

  Finally, I changed the sata driver from the amdsata at the ahci driver generic windows 7 and it seems to have solved the problem.

  If you want to try, go to Device Manager-> IDE ATA/ATAPI Controllers-> Sata Driver.  Select 'Update Driver'-> 'Browse my computer for driver software "->" Let me pick from a list of drivers on my computer', then choose it "Standard AHCI 1.0" pilot. "

  One possible way to solve this problem is to refresh the web filtering settings for your child by turning and then by following the steps below:

  1. connect to https://fss.live.com using your Parent account.
  2. click on change settings under the user name of your child.
  3. request for Web filtering, check the Disable web content filtering , and then Save.
  4 tick to enable web filtering you can adjust the slider to different settings.
  5. Save.

  After completing the steps above, remember to refresh the client of parental control to update changes made via the Family Safety website. To update the client, click the icon with the 2 arrows found in the upper right.

  In addition, if you use select custom to allow and block Web site category please make sure that the domain of the Web site is included (.com, .net, or .org). Let us know what happens then.

  You can. It is best to use a parental control device, but you can use a software. Are you operating behind a router?   This can be done through enforcement. Make a policy to block Facebook (for all IP addresses) and a policy to allow for Facebook (IP owner). In the mapping box chose policy boss first.

  For about half of an anneei run a guest Windows 8 Pro (pardon my french) 8 of Parallels Desktop. Before that, I've been using Parallels Desktop win Windows 7 for a long time without any problem, with Windows 8, I had a lot of problems. Three times after a reboot the VM would not start, complaining of the alteration of the virtual disk. This could not be corrected, not even with the help of Parallels support so I was forced to return to the virtual machine backups.

  After the last time that happened I decided to give Fusion a try to see if it is more stable. I have used it for two weeks now and so far am very happy. One thing bothers me however, and that is that, at apparently random times (once every few days), Windows crashes with a blue screen saying "HAL_INITIALIZATION_FAILED". Fortunately restart the virtual machine works in these cases so nothing major is lost, but this isn't rock solid performance I was hoping.

  A piece of information that might be relevant (but perhaps is a Kipper), that is I run the virtual machine with the (not support put in "Hyper-V" as type of client operating system . I need this because I want to use the VM for Windows Phone development requiring Hyper-v for the emulator. This could be a reason for the accidents? If so, is it recommended that I have spend the type of operating system on Hyper-V only when I actually use the Windows Phone emulator? Everyone knows comparable questions?
