Router w / Tunnel dynamic L2L and Clients VPN
I have a 7200 router currently configured w / vpn clients. I'm looking to add a tunnel dynamic l2l. When I do, I am more able to connect using the vpn client. I following the configuration the following URL.
http://Cisco.com/en/us/Tech/tk583/TK372/technologies_configuration_example09186a00801dddbb.shtml
As soon as I add...
Crypto-map dynamic dynmap 5
Define VPNclient isakmp-profile
the vpn client no longer works. Have not access to the config right now as I took it. Someone at - it it works correctly?
Okay, mhhh I think that this is a problem with the configuration, give a shot at one of the L2L bouncing, set it to the profile and the keychain, which is the result.

PIX - PIX VPN and Client VPN - cannot access core network
I hub and spoke PIX and a VPN Client that connects to speak it PIX, much the same as the example configuration here: -.
This example shows the client VPN access to the network behind PIX RADIUS. I want the client to also be able to access the central network, i.e. the client connects to the pix speaks via vpn, and traffic is routed through the vpn to PIX - PIX to the central site.
How this would change the configuration contained in the example?
See you soon,.
Jon
You can not do this, the PIX cannot route a package back on the same interface, it is entered in the. The only way to do that is to have the client connect to the hub PIX, but then they would not be able to get to the network behind PIX distance either.
Or that the customer would connect on a different interface in the PIX of distance, but this would mean another connection ISP on this PIX. Example of config is here: http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/110/client-pixhub.html

WAN with 3 routers RV320 and client VPN routing
We have 3 locations with routers RV320 - WAN1/LAN1-192.168.10.0, WAN2/LAN2-192.168.20.0, WAN3/LAN3-192.168.30.0. Locations are connected via VPN and users in each office can be connected to others.
I connect to the Home Office with Cisco VPN Client. When I connect via VPN to the office '1' and then I get the 192.168.12.0 network address and I can ping network 192.168.10.0 and connect to servers on the network. Unfortunately I can not connect to other networks (from offices '2' and '3'). What should I set on routers? Static routes? How?Thanks in advance
Adam
Hello Adam,.
Looks like you have the Cisco VPN Client configured in shared tunnel mode. In this mode the traffic associated with the specific network specified in the configuration of the tunnel will be sent through the tunnel, all the rest just use your normal internet connection. However, you can change this in the configuration of 320 to a full tunnel. All your traffic will then be sent through the tunnel, and the RV should just drive through the tunnel from site to site, suitable for any office network you want to reach.
Note, however, that this will send all your traffic, including any web browsing and nothing else happening on your PC, through the connection of the VPN Client. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, I just wanted you to be aware of it.
Hope that helps and thanks for using Cisco,

Problem with VPN L2L and RA in a failover configuration
I use two ASA 5540 in failover active-standby configuration. These boxes (primary and secondary) are used to establish some L2L and VPN RA (remote access). The active area run the OSPF process.
The problem is when the failover (blocking just to the bottom of the active area, or "active failover" running in a secondary zone) all L2L be restored in a secondary zone. The only way I can do this (re-connect) removes the configuration of IPP (Reverse injectable way) (for example. ("no card crypto rprbbe_map 3 don't set reverse-road") and the configuration of IPP ("card crypto rprbbe_map 3 Road opposite the value"). After this the connection is re-established.
In RA guests the session persists on a failover event, but the customer loses access. To resolve this problem, the customer needs to disconnect and reconnect.
Anyone has any experience with this kind of (L2L and RA) VPN configuration using failover?Behavior seems buggy.
What version do you use?

Greetings,
Try to install the VPN clinet version 5.0.07.0290 on WinXP box.
Gets to a certain point then - error
Error 27850. Unable to manage the network components.
The corruption of the operating system can prevent installation.
I asked this question here before - and received responses instructioning me to uninstall the client.
This canoe do since there is no element installed in Add / Remove programs to point to uninstall. I deleted the folder created, but it makes no difference - each time the system stops at the same point.
Any other ideas?
Is your Windows XP 32-bit or 64-bit?
There are 2 version of VPN Client 5.0.07.0290:
32-bit: vpnclient-win-msi - 5.0.07.0290 - k9.exe
64-bit: vpnclient-winx64-msi - 5.0.07.0290 - k9.exe
Please, please make sure you use the right software.
Here are the steps that will allow the uninstall:
(1) remove the VPN Client (any version) of the machine using the MSI cleanup tool
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/290301Updated the DNE using this deterministic networks link
http://www.deterministicnetworks.com/support/dnesupport.aspRun the WINFIX application, then the upgrade DNE.
(2) take a backup of the registry.
(3) on your desktop, click Start > run and type regedit.
(4) delete the following keys:(a) go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Cisco Systems > customer VPN.
(b) go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > deterministic networks and remove the keys.
Note: Sometimes the system will not allow deletion of this key.(c) go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Microsoft > Windows > CurrentVersion > uninstall > {5624c000-b109-11d4-9db4-00e0290fcac5}.
(d) delete all the old files deterministic NDIS Extender (DNE): all files starting with DNE, as all are coming files and Client VPN facilities.dne2000.sys %SystemRoot%\system32\drivers
dne2000m.inf and dne2000m.pnf of %SystemRoot%\inf(e) the enumeration of original manufacturers of hardware (OEM) of the dne2000.inf and dne2000.pnf files.
The OEM enumeration .inf file is a file called ".inf oem (digital value)."
For example, oem2.inf and oem2.pnf.Note: Be sure to remove only the DNE OEM files.
dneinobj.dll % SystemRoot%\system32. You may need to reboot for this file can be deleted.
(f) delete the following file: cvpndrv.sys to %SystemRoot%\system32\drivers
(5) reboot the machine.
(6) find the file CSGina.dll in the system32 folder rename it to CSGina.old
7-restart the machine.
(8) to disable any firewall if not installed.
Hope that helps.

Established VPN tunnel between 4.8 Client and 525 PIX but cannot ping
When there is no tunnel that is established, the client can ping all devices onsite / remote. However when the tunnel is established and the client picks up its expected the address pool IP address, the client can ping or local / remote.
Debug trace of icmp on the shows of PIX inside devices responding to pings from the client but the client
does not receive these responses and shows demand exceeded.
VPN client also shows only the transmitted data.
I'm guessing that there is a problem of routing/natting somewhere?
Would really appreciate some help on this? Ask some q If my problem is too vague.
Thanks in advance!
Would it be possible to show the hidden config of the PIX with the public IP addresses? Some things to check
--> ISAKMP Nat traversal
--> Windows Firewall
--> syspot allowed

I think that you made a mistake with your ACL name. the ACL applied is "VPN-ACL-SPLIT" which is an empty ACL. You must switch to that of "ACL-VPN-SPLIT" that has the entry "ip 192.168.1.0 allow 0.0.0.255 192.168.1.0 0.0.0.255" inside.

Traffic of Client VPN routing via VPN Site to Site
Hello
We have the following scenario:
- Office (192.168.2.x)
- Data Center (212.64.x.x)
- Home workers (192.168.2.x) (scope DHCP is in the office subnet)
Connections:
- Desktop to Data Center traffic is routed through a Site at IPSec VPN, which works very well.
- Welcome to the office is routed through a Site IPSec VPN Client.
The question we have right now, is the Client VPN works, and we have implemented a split tunnel which includes only the subnet of the Office for a list of network.
What I have to do, is to route all traffic to home' to 'Data Center' by site to Site VPN is configured.
I tried to add the ranges of IP data center to the list of Client VPN Split tunnel, but when I do that and try to connect at home, I just get a "connection timed out" or denied, as if she was protected by a firewall?
Could you please let me know what I missed?
Result of the command: "show running-config"

Hei guys,.
Please help me on this one because I'm stuck enough on her...
I am trying to connect to a Cisco 3700 router configured as a VPN server by using a VPN client and the VPN connection does not settle.
This is an extract from the log:
130 12:48:30.585 07/01/11 Sev = Info/5 IKE / 0 x 63000001
Peer supports XAUTH

132 12:48:30.600 07/01/11 Sev = WARNING/2 IKE/0xE300007E
Failed the hash check... may be configured with password invalid group.
133 12:48:30.600 07/01/11 Sev = WARNING/2 IKE/0xE300009B
Impossible to authenticate peers (Navigator: 904)
134 12:48:30.600 07/01/11 Sev = Info/4 IKE / 0 x 63000013
SEND to > ISAKMP OAK INFO (NOTIFY: INVALID_HASH_INFO) for 200.100.50.173I enclose the whole journal extract... The message "BOLD" is quite obvious, you mean, but I'm 100% sure, in the login entry, I typed correctly the group password: pass
My topology is very basic, as I am setting this up only to get a clue of the operation of the Cisco VPN. It is built in GNS3:
-2 3700 routers: one of them holds the configuration of the VPN server and the other would be the ISP through which the remote worker would try to establish a VPN connection. I am also attaching the configuration file for the router configured as a VPN router.Behind the second router there is a virtual XP machine on which I have installed VPN client...
My connection entry in the customer is to have the following parameters:
Host: 200.100.50.173 , //which is the IP address of the VPNServer
Authentication-> authentication-> name group: grup1 password: pass / / I'm quite positive that I typed the correct password... even if the log messages are linked to a misidentification.I use public addresses only, because I noticed there is a question about behind the NAT VPN connections and is not not very familiar to the NAT.
Another aspect which can be of any importance is that "allow Tunneling of Transport" in the tab Transport to the input connection is disabled
and the VPNServer router logs the following error message when you try to establish the connection:
* 01:08:47.147 Mar 1: % CRYPTO-6-IKMP_NOT_ENCRYPTED: IKE 200.100.50.34 package was not encrypted and it should have been.
* 01:08:47.151 Mar 1: % CRYPTO-6-IKMP_NOT_ENCRYPTED: IKE 200.100.50.34 package was not encrypted and it should have been. You have no idea why I can't connect? Y at - it something wrong with my configuration of VPN server... or with the connection entry in the VPN client?
Thank you
Iulia
Depending on the configuration of the router, the group name is grup1 and the password is baby.
You also lack the ipsec processing game that you would need to apply to the dynamic map.
Here is an example configuration for your reference:
http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/Tech/tk583/TK372/technologies_configuration_example09186a0080235197.shtml
Hope that helps.

PIX-to-client VPN and how to reach on other interfaces systems
Hi all
I've implemented a Pix-to-Client VPN and it seems works ok.
As you can see, customer gets the same inside the class address (192.168.100.x) so I can reach across systems.
My questions are:
If I give different subnet pool addresses, how can 1 I still reach inside systems?
2 if I have other systems on these interfaces such dmz1 (192.168.10.0) dmz2 (192.168.20.0) how to get to these systems of the
even the client vpn access?

It is generally preferable to use another range of IP addresses. The PIX will know that the VPN Client uses that vary and route it properly whitch is not the case when you are using the same IP range as the inside interface.
To access another interface use the SHEEP (your ACL 102) access list which disables NAT between the VPN and the neworks to which you want to connect.

I am trying to configure client vpn software ver 5.0 for remote to connect to the local network behind a 1801 users.
I can get the client saying its connected but traffic is not circulate outside in:
When I try to ping an address 192.168.2.x behind the 1801 I get a response from the public ip address but then when I try to ping to another address I have no answer.
I guess the question is associated with NAT.

Client VPN Cisco ASA 5505 Cisco 1841 router
Hello. I'm doing a connection during a cisco vpn client and a vpn on one server asa 5505 behind a 1841 router (internet adsl2 + and NAT router).
My topology is almost as follows
customer - tunnel - 1841 - ASA - PC
ASA is the endpoint vpn (outside interface) device. I forward udp port 500 and 4500 on my router to the ASA and the tunnel rises. I exempt nat'ting on the asa and the router to the IP in dhcp vpn pool. I can connect to my tunnel but I can't "see" anything in the internal network. I allowed all traffic from the outside inwards buy from the ip vpn pool and I still send packets through the tunnel and I get nothing. I take a look at the statistics on the vpn client and I 2597 bytes (ping traffic) and there are no bytes. Any idea?
Where you you logged in when you took the "crypto ipsec to show his"? If this isn't the case then try again, also this option allows IPSEC over UDP 4500 and it is disabled, enable it.
ISAKMP nat-traversal crypto
Just enter the command as it is, then try to connect again after activation of this option and get the same result to see the.

PIX and ASA static, dynamic and RA VPN does not
Hello
I am facing a very interesting problem between a PIX 515 and an ASA 5510.
The PIX is in HQ and has several dynamic VPN connections (around 130) and IPsec vpn remote works very well. I had to add a PIX to ASA L2L VPN static and it does not work as it is supposed to be. The ASA 5510, at the remote end, connects and rest for a small period of time, however, all other VPN connections stop working.
The most interesting thing is that ASA is associated with the dynamic map and not the static map that I created (check by sh crypto ipsec his counterpart x.x.x.x). However, if I make any changes in the ACL 'ACL-Remote' it affects the tunnel between the PIX and ASA.
Someone saw something like that?
Here is more detailed information:
HQ - IOS 8.0 (3) - PIX 515
ASA 5510 - IOS 7.2 (3) - remote provider
Several Huawei and Cisco routers dynamically connected via ADSL
Several users remote access IPsec
A VPN site-to site static between PIX and ASA - does not.
Here is the config on the PIX:

The problem is that the ASA has a crypto acl defined between host and network, while the remote end has to the network.
Make sure that the acl is reversed.

Client VPN Cisco router Cisco, MSW CA + certificates
Dear Sirs,
Let me approach you on the following problem.I wanted to use a secure between the Cisco VPN client connection
(Windows XP) and Cisco 2821 with certificate-based authentication.
I used the Microsoft certification authority (Windows 2003 server).
Cisco VPN client used eTokenPRO Aladdin as a certificate store.Certificate of MSW CA registration and implementation in eToken ran OK
Customer VPN Cisco doesn't have a problem with the cooperation of eToken.
Certificate of registration of Cisco2821 MSW ca ran okay too.Cisco 2821 configuration is standard. IOS version 12.4 (6).
