ROUTING-FIB-4-RSRC_LOW

Hi all

I have a router ASR 9006 and double module RSP. I have problem with static routing. Static routing is not working today. I saw this paper.

ROUTING-FIB-4-RSRC_LOW %: CEF DATA_TYPE_TABLE_SET resource memory. CEF will now begin the transfer of limited resources. Only way deletions will be processed in this State, which can lead to an incompatibility between the SIDES/CEF. Loss of traffic on certain prefixes can be expected. CEF will automatically resume normal operation once the use of resource returns to a normal level.

My camera have rsp dual active standby mode. I use version asr9k - this - 4.1.2 (I asr9k - this - 4.2.0 but inactive) I have a connection of BGP table seven complete routing.

Static routing is not working. What can he do?

Hi Umit,

Please consult the following document that describes the problem that you see.

  • Why can't I use my Airport Extreme routers to extend my Google fiber network?

I had waited for a long time, and finally got Google fiber installed at my house this afternoon.  I had been so excited and had everything for my home network mapped out.

I've never used router Wi - Fi an ISP, but I read that so many good things about the fiber of Google box Wi - Fi I had planned to make the core of my Wi - Fi network home.  The plan was to have the Google through my home box.

I have two base stations Airport Extreme AC I used with my old set up with Time Warner.  My plan was to use to extend my Google Wi - Fi network with a floor and one on the ground floor. Unfortunately, I can not understand how to get there.

I did a hard reset on two of my Airport Extreme routers and went to set them up as extensions, but I can't do it.  I have open Airport utility, select my device, choose 'Other Options', select 'Add to an existing network' and click Next...  Each time, my only option is to create a new network.

Does anyone know a way around this?  I would really like to be able to have a base station wireless AC in every room of my house.  I also need the Airport Extreme routers set up somewhere in the chain so I can continue to do my wireless Time Machine backups.  Any tips?  I am currently very frustrated.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Unfortunately, Apple routers will not be able to extend wireless signal of a 3rd party router. Or, another way of saying the same thing, is that routers Apple will extend only wireless signal from another router from Apple.

If you could install another Apple router near the Google router and connect the Apple router using an Ethernet cable to the router fiber, and configure the router from Apple provides wireless... then... other airports will be able to extend the signal of the "main" Apple router

You can use the fiber for a second wireless network or comments... or... If you need another network, there is probably a way to disable the wireless router fiber.

Another option... If possible... would be to run both of your Apple routers Ethernet cables to the router of fiber. Then, Apple routers can be configured to extend the network of fiber like that.  Note that Ethernet cables should be left in place permanently with this option.

I understand that I ask a broad question, the best answer is "it depends."

I saw an exchange of views and people seem to stabilize on 640 k.

  • Problems with connecting fiber and new router AirPort

I installed the fiber optic connection to replace my cable modem connection... I have a network of airport for a long time. When I bridge router ISP in my airport network that there are multiple problems. The major is that when you plug the ethernet cable from the modem ISP Ethernet port on the WAN of Timecapsule port all the TC LAN ports go dead. (the ISP's modem has already a cable ethernet in the WAN port or the first port that comes from the optical network Terminal that the fiber optic cable to connect from the outside). I talked to the ISP and they say just use any ethernet port to connect to the WAN port on the TC. On their end, they say everything is connected and works... then it's the Apple... I bought a new TC and changed my ethernet cables, but all I can establish is a wireless network. My network is itinerant and all of my extremes are connected with cables, but all on my main TC LAN ports are dead. I rebuilt my network and the same problem... And I think that the culprit is ports LAN TC is off

Unfortunately, Apple has designed their routers airport to work with a standard cable and DSL type connections. The fiber is a whole new game ball, and Apple has not yet learned the rules of the game, so you may or may not have a really hard question.

When you plug the ethernet cable from the modem ISP Ethernet port on the WAN of Timecapsule port all the TC LAN ports go dead.

Before you connected to the fiber "modem" Time Capsule, did first reset you back to default settings... and then... set up again I hope to work with the fiber optic router?

If this isn't the case, you need to do whenever you change providers or the modem that the Time Capsule connects to.

All other devices that might be connected to the time Capsule should be turned off and unplugged.

Then, if the time Capsule can be configured to work with the "modem" fiber, you can connect devices to the time Capsule one at a time to ensure that each of them is working before connect you to the other.  It may be necessary to reconfigure some or all devices that are connected to the time Capsule so that everything works again.

Bottom line here... get the time Capsule working first with the "to modem" fibers.  Then start to add other devices to time Capsule one at a time.

  • Problems setting up router WRT1900ac and fiber

I feel that my question is so obscure that I won't be able to get a lot of help here, but I'll post anyway.

First of all, I live in the Philippines. My ISP is PLDT. I have FTTH - fiber to the home. My internet connection is DHCP - no login or password. I thought that perhaps they checked the serial number on the modem to see if I was an authorized user but apparently not; They told me if I wanted to buy another optical modem, I could and that I wouldn't need to do anything to save it on the network, but that they could not provide me with a list of modems that would work.

They delivered to me with a router/modem made by a company called FiberHome. "Like the big business of high-tech directly affiliated to belonging to the active state of oversight and Board of Directors of the Council of State, FiberHome Technologies is the company of the kernel located in Wuhan Optics Valley of China."

The model number is AN5506-04-FG. There are very few configurable on this. Can I change my wifi network name (they insist that the name of the network begins with PLDTHOMEFIBR, no idea why) and a few passwords here and there. For the most part, I just post status on the LAN and WAN.

Therefore, because it is so little that I can do with it that I decided that I needed a router/gateway and not simply an Extender. I bought the WRT1900ac.

Brought it home, that he repaired, it connected via ethernet cable between a LAN port on the FiberHome on the Internet on the Linksys port.  I then used the WiFi on my iPad to try on the Linksys Setup, try with Safari and Chrome.

Went to put in place and smart control of Linksys could not understand my internet connection, despite several reboots, power off and cable disconnected, etc.

So I went to the manual configuration. I put the connection to a static IP address. Following the minimal instructions in the booklet of FiberHome, I put the IP address of the router to 192.168.1.28; the subnet mask of 255.255.255.0; This gateway 192.168.1.1 (internal IP of the fiber to the home, address) DNS of Google DNS.

This would actually work - but only for a few minutes at a time. Then the network diagram would show that I was always connected to the FiberHome but no connection to Internet in addition. (Although my PC, connected to the FiberHome via a LAN cable, still had access to the internet.)

I used the live chat Linksys to ask an agent to this topic. She said that my gateway setting is correct. She had me reset the router and try again, but he could not yet know the connection to the internet on its own. She had me download the iOS app and try there, but same result. So I received a ticket number and ended the chat session.

Now, I tried to set the internet connection on the router at the bridge. But once I did, I was unable to connect to the router via WiFi. I needed to do a reset to be able to access it again.

At this point I called my ISP. They told me that if I wanted to add another router like that, they would need to reset my router/modem FiberHome bridged mode. But they are unable to do it remotely and cannot (or don't want to) give me instructions on how to do it myself.  They need to send a technician to my home. They could not tell me when. I have to wait for a call. (I got a ticket number).

This means that for now, I have a blue and black, sitting bins there, I can't do anything with.

So I'm waiting, I thought I'd post this in the hope that someone might have some ideas configuration I could try or for the general amusement of peoples.

    Thank you!

You may have a conflict between the two routers in IP subnet. In this case the WRT1900AC will change it's default subnet to 10.x.x.x instead of 192.168.1.1

You can find the new IP address of the router by looking at a customers connect ITI information IP address appears as the default gateway.

  • Best WiFi for the internet fiber?

We are switching internet providers of Charter, which is slow and unreliable, a fiber of 1 gig of TDS connection. Currently, we are using the modem provided by Charter (which we will return), combined with a very old AirPort Extreme of probably around 2007 and a just as old AirPort Express to extend the network, although I do not know if it is. We use an iMac connected to the internet 2010, but most of our consumption is on our iPad and iPhone, as well as the video streaming (Netflix, Plex, etc.). Due to the age and the layout of our House, it is not very easy to hard wire on television, thinking it is something that we watched in the future when we are ready for some changes.

The fiber will be installed and connected directly to the iMac, but for iPads and TV streaming, I would try to put in place the faster WiFi network, I can. What would you recommend for this? A new AirPort Extreme would be the fastest option to work with the new fiber? Or are there routers WiFi non - Apple that would work better and are not too difficult to implement?

With regard to the performance of the network that he will come down to will be the following:

    1. For broadcast on the Internet, you want a router that has a capacity of excellent data WAN - LAN throughput.
    2. You want a wireless system that provides the band total bandwidth of the best & possible rate for your home.

For the first article, I suggest that you examine various models to see which offer best WAN - LAN throughput. An easy way to do is to check the links of graphics of router and switch router in the following SmallNetBuilder site.

For diagrams of router, I suggest you choose the 'WAN to LAN flow"to the point of reference and then select FILTER for a list of routers of better performance at worst. When I did it just, it assessed the Netgear Nighthawk with a value of LAN 931,4 Mbps Wan. No consumer today router will provide 1 Gbps, but 931.4 is very close. By the way, the last (on the design of 2 years) AirPort Extreme 802.11ac just came out with only 325,5 Mbps.

On the second point, you will need to look at some benchmarks:

    • 2.4 GHz UpDown flow
    • 5 GHz UpDown flow
  • Is the Airport Express optical fiber compatible? (Verizon Fios)

Is the Airport Express optical fiber compatible? (Verizon Fios)

Verizon wants me to have one of their routers. Is it necessary if I already have an AirPort Express?

The airport is a router, not a cable modem. Verizon are likely to provide a cable modem that is also a router, and therefore has an entry for the cable and several outputs ethernet; It can also have wifi.

You can probably turn off wifi if you prefer to use the airport; and there is nothing prevents to connect airport entrance to one of Verizon output using its wifi and ethernet ports. As long as it is reasonably recent, it should detect that it is connected to a router and configure properly.

  • Thinking of adding Airport Extreme for Google Fiber

Hello world. Wanted to start a new question related to Google fiber... slightly different from the issue of Back2Mac earlier.

I just Google fiber. House is wired throughout with CAT6. Wired connection works fine. Wireless is great, sometimes, but do not receive the beach or the consistency we want.

Can I add an Airport Extreme, hard connected to the Google fiber network box (which is a router, "PNG" for short) and everything work well and be safe?

There is a lot of information out there, but most are very technical and I think talking to try to take the PNG of the equation all together. I don't need or want to do. Looking to replace PNG with a wireless Airport Extreme wireless. I think that all that I have to connect the Airport Extreme to PNG by wire, set the Airport Extreme in Bridge mode and "create a wireless network" and disable wireless of PNG.

I have not bought the Airport Extreme and wouldn't bother, if it will be technically above my head. I've seen many references to static port forwarding, DMZ, IP, etc.. Are there others that should be configured to secure my installation? In addition, the activity of the network of wired and wireless devices will share work together (for example, iPhone wireless to AppleTV wired antenna)?

Thank you and appreciate any help anyone has for a novice with little network experience!

Connect an Ethernet cable from one of the ports on the fibre-optic LAN <>router - port WAN "O" on the AirPort Extreme.

Turn AirPort Extreme for a minute or two.

Click the WiFi menu at the top of the screen on your Mac and are looking for a list of new AirPort base station.

Click on AirPort Extreme just below this list.

Who will get the facility operational Apple "Wizard". It will take a few seconds to analyze the network, and then display a screen similar to the example below, except that you will see a picture of the AirPort Extreme.

Name of the network... Type a short and simple name that you want to call the wireless network

Base station... Enter a device name short and simple that you want to use for AirPort Extreme

Password... Type a password that will be used for the wireless network and a base station

Check... Type the same password to confirm

    Click next

The "Wizard" will configure everything for you automatically. ... then you don't have to worry about things like the 'bridge', 'security' mode or other parameters.

When you see the message Setup is complete, click done, and you're done.

  • HPJ610a Deskjet 3050: Join the network wifi through router new Deskjet 3050 HPJ610a

I moved into an area of network connected to fiber (NBN Australia) and installed a new router D-Link DIR - 850L.  I was unable to connect to the router using WPS.  I had to buy a HP Envy, which connected wtihout difficulty.  I just upgraded my router to a TP - Link Archer C9, with a richer control interface, so I tried again to connect my Deskjet 3050.  Once again, no luck.

I read a number of posts about this, and they all back down to the re-use of your installation of the printer software.  The problem is that the software driver for OS X El Capitan comes from Apple and is already up-to-date. I am able to run the printer when it is connected by a USB cable, so if I could work out how to emulate an installation, I might be able to get connected.  Is it possible to do this?

    Hello

Sorry for jumping in, but the steps in Mac OS X are in fact incorrect.

In System Preferences, select Printers and scanners.

Double-click the listed USB printer, and then select the printer settings / Options.

Open the Utilitiy tab, and then click Open Utility.

In the screen, select Convert to wireless and follow the on-screen instructions to connect the pritner to your wireless network.

Note: If no option appears, click the top phone menu and select Connect a new printer, and then follow the steps by choosing a wireless connection.

    Kind regards

  • Extension of wireless network with 2 capsules of time falls internet router

I have a fiber broadband from the Danish supplier, TDC. A port on the router, I connected a TimeCapsule 1 generation and one of its ports, I have a cable to a new TimeCapsule in another room. The first TC is set to create a wireless network and the new TC is set to extend a wireless network. Both are on the same wireless name and password and both have the clipping value. This is according to the instructions that I found here on the forum.

HOWEVER. When you use this router configuration mentioned above keeps falling and interruption of the Internet connection. What could happen?

If I let the TCs create two wireless router maintains a stable Internet connection.

On each TimeCapsule, there are a number of devices connected to their respective ports. All IP are chosen by DHCP. I assume that the router is the only DHCP server and that the CHT are not IP for connected devices.

Any help to solve this is appreciated.

To connect nr2 nr1 TC but not the TDC router. The ports on the TC are just parallel connectors (except the one that connects the modem). Then you must set both to create a network: you have two networks.

Then give them the same name and password (or not, what you want).

When you want to extend the network, do not connect the cable to the nr2, but you should put nr2 where he received the Wifi of nr1 and then extend it. This also works, but is much less bandwidth.

  • Problems with COX Gigablast fiber Airport extreme WiFi

I recently installed internet service from COX Gigablast fiber and chose to stay with my AirPort Extreme wireless routers (2), rather than use the Netgear router which they provided.  I didn't think anything of it, because technology that makes my installation said "we get the same speed with the Airport Extreme, as we do the Netgear... ", so I don't think much.  During installation I was getting 950Mbps the two download and upload via hard cable connection and 300-400Mbps over a wireless connection.  Over the next day, I noticed that Netflix was serving an image low resolution for TV, as if it was on a wifi network limited.  After speed tests at Speedtest.net, the wired connection speed was very erratic and the WiFi had dropped to ~ 30Mbps.  I reset the Airport extreme routers, but in vain.

I had a COX tech come out and he said that AirPort Extreme should have IPV6 'turned off '.  This seems to have fixed the instability of the wired connection.

Wireless, however, is always obismal!  Has anyone experience this problem?  If so, I'd appreciate it really any resolution.  The COX Tech told me that they informed Apple that they have a bug with the Airport Extreme, when it is used with their service Gigablast, and that "after the problem Apple's repeated refusals, they had just been Apple that was with AirPort Extreme and not with COX."  He also told me that I was myself because they guarantee the speed of connection of line lasts, "because there are too many variables when it comes to WiFi signal."

Any input would be much appreciated.  Thank you!

Thanks for this post!  And for being the Guinea pig on this issue.

Just, I, too, had installed Gigablast and uses the supplied Netgear router.  I just bought a new AirPort Extreme to manage the speed of concert and wondered whether to execute directly on the modem fiber or hard wire off the Netgear router.

Hope someone at Apple can solve this problem quickly.

Sorry, but no. Apple routers have a modem on board, so you will always need to use a modem with a router from Apple with any type of DSL service.
