RTF model - repeat the header in

Hi Experts,
I am facing a weird problem where, in a particular model, the first part of the heading text should be repeated as part of the report, and then a table header should not repeat that in the case of folders under it. Could you pls help me?

Thank you

    Hi Amar,

    It's almost over. Now, the first lines of the 3 table are repeated on several pages.

    Please find attached the output model and example.

    You need to spend some effort on the formatting of the table if necessary (probably rebuild the base tables that I see some formatting issues already exists on your model)

    But it's the approach that you can follow to meet the needs of your business.

  • With regard to the RTF model: enter the commands in your RTF model

    Hi all

    I read the Oracle Documentation saying: "entry of the orders in your RTF model."

    I tried to look at this one, I have a requirement.

    Really how can I enter the commands in RTF model. I didn't get this one a lot.

    Any help is very appreciated as always :)

    Thank you

    Well, my OPE user's guide did not have the mentioned pages but I watched this guide: http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E12844_01/doc/bip.1013/e12188.pdf

    and given the documents, you need just to include controls in a form field in the foreach loop for the element you want to split the document by... You could insert a form field and then double-click the field, go to the properties of Word-> add-> the status bar help text and change the code following the instructions in the guide.

    Hope that helps.

  • Page number of reset in Word RTF model for the generation of PDF Editor BI

    Hello!
    Apex Oracle 10.2.0.4, BEEP 10.1.X 4.0.2

    I was told to transfer this forum topic.

    Bills are created based on the Word RTF with BI Publisher files. Resulting file is a large PDF file, that has a lot of pages.
    Word RTF model is bundled in field BILLS.ID with the page break option. Thus, a BILLS.ID group can have one or several pages (according to the data).

    How to create the model RTF (for generation of PDF BI Publisher) with reset page numbers when changing the value of consolidation.
    Page numbers are at the bottom of the page in the format
    curr_group_page/total_group_pages
    where:
    -curr_group_page is the number of the current page group (defined with the BILLS.ID field),
    -total_group_pages is the total number of pages in a group (defined with the BILLS.ID field).

    I need to reset the numbering at each change of BILLS.ID (Group).
    Example:
    ID = 1 (4 pages)
    1/4, 2/4, 3/4, 4/4
    ID = 2 (1 pages)
    1/1
    ID = 3 (2 pages)
    1/2, 2/2
    ID = 4 (3 pages)
    1/3, 2/3, 3/3
    etc.

    How to achieve this type of numbering?

    Any help appreciated.

    Kind regards

  • Repeat the field values by repeating the header (flowed subform)

    I have a request form which consists of three main sections - a header, a table of details, and a footer.

    The Details table must be able to expand to fit, which means that the form should be able to escape on a second page. All the fields in the header must repeat on the second page. The footer should only appear once, at the bottom of the table of details, not repeated on each page.

    After much tinkering with flowed and positioned subforms, I've got this work with the Details table inside a subform sank, with a subform positioned in the lines of header and footer in the table. I suspect that this is not the 'proper' way, but it's the only way I could make it work.

    So my head joyfully repeats on the second page, but the values typed in the first page header fields do not appear on the second page. The user must be able to change the header on any page and all pages update headers.

    Can someone please point me to a tutorial or give me an idea of what code would accomplish this? I don't know how to reference the field repeated to set its value.

    If I do it is crazy, and there is a better way, it would be good to know too. I use es2

    Set the binding for the fields in the header 'Use of global data' - on the binding of the object palette tab.

  • Report of the IR - repeat the header problem

    Question: Is there way to keep the main header of column in Table identical to reiterate the position. I spent a lot of time coloring the column header cell < blue > and they do not lack down to repeat headers... I tried many ways. Thank you in advance.

    #apexir_EAC_CMDB_PLT {color: "#00FF00"; text-decoration: none;}
    cursor: pointer ;}
    < / style >

    Hello

    Sorry, I see now what you're trying to do - I've updated my styles to use #apexir_ENAME {color: #0000FF; text-decoration: none; cursor: point;}, then set groups. Only the first title "Ename" is a style using this. That's because it's the only one who is given an ID of "apexir_ENAME" - other group headers are all simple DIVs without identifiers.

    The only way I managed to get a style on all of this is to add a SPAN tag in the position itself and style it like that. While this does not, of course, this does not mean that the definition of the SCOPE is now part of the header text appears so when you use "Select columns" etc.

    I can't imagine a way easy around what I assume that IDS are important for the IR feature and must be unique within the page.

  • Tables: How can I disable repeating the header line?

    Hello

    How can I disable the functionality of repetitive title line in the tables? I looked through the Table Designer and online help but not joy. I know it's probably something very simple, but I can't find it.

    Advice appreciated.

    See you soon

    Hi C.Sarelius,

    simply by not using not header lines. There is no separate option (that's why you don't find it in the online help). If you use lines of position they are repeated on the next pages (same is true for the footer lines). It is exactly what the majority of users.

    I understand that you can separate the shading or taking your lines of position, but there is no support to store in a table without using the lines of the "official" position

  • Repeat the header and button problems

    I've been finding dig me deeper and deeper into Livecycle lately, our office is trying to convert all of THE forms in pdf format. This was a bit of a puzzle to me.

    I finally understood how automatically scroll to the next page, a week or two ago (to my GREAT relief) the text. So now I'm on the next confusing problem.

    I need to have a header to repeat from one page to another, as well as data that the user enters in the fields. I tried to accomplish this by placing the fields I want to be repeated on a Master Page. Which certainly makes them repeat as I wanted-, but the inputs do not seem to go from page to page. How to make this happen?

    My second problem, I ran in here it is - I have a table of contents page I need essentially "duplicate", according to the needs. For example, they run out of spaces and need more, so they click on the button to add another page to the table of contents - all other pages, moving down from there. This is a pretty important thing for this form to do so, as later I'll add more pages that need to do the same thing. It would be great if I could reach (with a minimum of programming), because he would smoke less our separate 21 form into one - to get rid of the need to keep track of page numbers ourselves and by reducing the amount of data that must be re-entered.

    I appreciate any help! I have also attached what I have so far help along any suggestions.

    I'm glad that the first problem is resolved.  You can actually apply the same principle to make a whole page repeatedly.  If you the repeatable subform is the size of the entire page, whenever she repeats a new page will be created.

    As to why it doesn't work, my guess is that you are not working with a dynamic PDF.  There are three types of files, you can process in the designer: a static PDF, a dynamic PDF and an XDP (XML data package).  Dynamic PDF, that's what you want, then when you save your file, make sure that it is like that guy.  You must also enable dynamic features in the properties of the form.

    Go to file > form properties.  In the 'Default' tab, set the PDF Format to "Form XML dynamic."  In the "Overview" tab, set the Type of Preview for 'Interactive form' and Preview Adobe XML form as 'Dynamic XML form.'  This will allow the form return to PDF in preview mode PDF dynamic.  It is a common thing to have to deal with.

    Try this, hope it helps.

  • Newbee question: why a RTF model increases the size of the cells on the output

    We are new to BI publisher and work to the conversion of our custom reports to BI Publisher crystal. We currently use PeopleSoft 9.1 with 8.51.12 tools and are about to upgrade to 9.2 next year. Our office of BI Publisher comes bundled with peopleSoft and that our version of BI Publisher Core is 10.1.3.4.1. Then we use Office 2013. I started to look into these reports and found something that I do not understand:

    When you add a simple table to the model, the filling of a field and running an overview pdf size are increased and spacing is added above and below the text. I looked through all the spacing options I know, but can't seem to find where I can change this.

    Any suggestion will be appreciated...

    Thanks for the files.

    Data from the xml structure is to have a new line of character as below

    Instead of

    and if the additional lines were added in the output.

    To avoid this, you need to cut the space beginning and end.

    So, to add the syntax like

    and the result will be like this

  • Repeat the table column head

    Hi all

    It is possible to repeat the heads of column on each page of the left-hand (verso pages) by using indesign table?

    Kind regards

    Anil

    Hi Anil,

    "On the back Pages only" option is missing.

    However you may work around this problem, if you want to use only the block of text on a face to the spread of pages. With perhaps two columns, if you used your table in the blocks of text in a column before.

    Do "Repeat Header: once a Frame ' then, and you're done.

    Example of my German InDesign showing a block of text in two columns that spans a pages face to face to spread:

  • Problems with highlighting of the rows of the table through RTF-model

    Hello!

    Peace im new in the world of BI Publisher. For the moment, I try to create and RTF-model with the Office AddIn for Word Bi-editeur (2010). I want to create a table based on a table of a pdf document existing already. I have all the data in the right format and order and just worked fine - until I wanted to change the background color of some specific lines.
    If I add that a statement such as

    <? If: Variable = "Expressionstring?" > <? attribute@InContext:background-color;' #FFFF80 '? > <? end if? >

    the context of the evolution of the entry. But the fact the line height. It develops. The expressions more that I use more it grows. That of not good, because the table is so great that it only fits on a single page with fine lines... I tried to apply a height specified in the line through the word, but it does not work.
    I searched a couple hours and still didn't find anything regarding this problem. I appreciate any ideas how to solve this problem.

    Tounsiiaa in advance

    To help those who have a similar problem: it's just like sfr.farhan.fani wrote. I try to give you a general expression:

    <? If@row:ROWNAME=VALUE? > (this should work with = > etc do not forget the ' ' for strings etc..)

    < xsl: attribute name = 'background-color' xdofo:ctx = 'incontext' > lightgray < / xsl: attribute > (lightgray can be changed to hexa% and %valeurs)

    <? end if? >

    Hello

    Try the following expression

  • Repeat the data in a table on each page

    Hello

    I develop a PDF report that is in the following format

    Book category code
    Col1 Col2 COL3 COL4 Col5
    <? for-each: G-1? > <? BookCategoryCode? >
    <? for-each: G_2? > <? Col1Data? ><? Col2Data? ><? Col3Data? ><? Col4Data? ><? Col5Data? > <? end foreach? >
    <? end foreach? >

    I want to achieve this

    (1) repeat the header on every page (the blue lines) is not a problem.

    (2) category code book on each page on the top of repeat only once. Col1 to 5 are BookCategoryCode children elements. Can't do it in RTF model.

    (3) whenever the BookCategoryCode changes, the page should break. Partially achieved. Although it sounds simple enough, it allows formatting go haywire.

    PS: The implementation of repeat groups is just indicative to give an idea of the Group and is not actually implemented this way

    Thanks in advance

    SID

    Too bad. I have it. It turns out that the creation of a new model did the trick. Quite in the same way that I used in the previous model in the new. Did not in the past but that has happened in the new.

    I ticked the box on properties of the table that says "repeat the header at the top of each Page line" but it does not work, I tried <?
