  Hi expert HFM,.

  I am creating a NoInput rule to allow some Custom 1 member to be "locked" to the FORECAST category only.  However, when I load the rule to HFM VB Script, an error "VB Script engine could not be initialized".  By removing this many rules, the error disappears. Is there something wrong with my rule NoInput, and is there a better way to sum it up?

  Requirement:

  -Create versions for the FORECAST category (IE Jul_ver, Aug_ver, Sep_ver, etc.).

  -Version management is not available to use for other categories (IE REAL, BUDGET, FLASH).

• ERPi and FDM for 11.1.2.2 - adapter Source?

  Could you please help with the following questions concerning the ERPi and FDM for 11.1.2.2

  1. in general, what is a source adapter used for?

  2 in FDM installation package, there is an adapter (ERPI-END-E) for the ERP Integrator.
  I would like to clarify if my interpretation below is correct or not.
  My understanding is that this adapter allows automation of the ERPi data the performance rules of load in the application of FDM, which means that we can launch start the ERPi of planned work of FDM data loading State.

  1 Classic source FDM adapters are used to import data from the source system native support (EBS, SAP, ERPI) instead of files or databases. Let´s say that in some how the extraction process is already packed so you can extract the source system that the adapter don't

  2. you are right, ERPI is a product of the transition between the classical FDM and FDMEE (11.1.2.3), there are some features missing in ERPI FDM. Therefore, you had to use a mixture of ERPI and FDM in order to get full functionality. You use ERPI to extract the data and FDM to treat it (scripts, validation intersection report, etc.).

  11.1.2.3, gap is still smaller than that now we have scripts, report of validation of intersection and other features in FDMEE 11.1.2.3 (re-branded ERPI). The classic source of the FDM adapter still exists.

  In 11.1.2.4, as classical FDM is not available more-> no adapter source more :-)

• HFM and FDM on Windows server 2008R2 - 64 bit

  I am referring to v11.1.2.2
  
  I have services foundation, epma, calmgr, planning, eas and essbase running on server1 and upward
  
  Now I wanted to install and configure hfm and fdm on server2
  
  The installation done okay, but when I configure hfm I got error associated with impossible to locate the tnsnames.ora (DB Oracle 11 g 2 serves HSS, will be used for the HFM and FDM repositories)
  
  I searched the web and have found the discussions that I need to install the Oracle database client on the server server2 for HFM and FDM
  
  Issues related to the:
  
  1. my understanding is that FDM requires 32-bit Oracle Client and HFM requires 64-bit. Can I install both clients on server2?
  
  2. what type of customer that I will install? Director, Runtime or instant Client?
  
  3. are there any specific rules providing for the ORACLE_HOME for the customer. I put the same as on the DB server?

  We want to install HFM and FDM clients on some users machines... they install exe for Clients files... I could not find them...
  
  Please guide me.

  'Customer' Hyperion financial management, you need to start the main installation program and select the client part. (i.e. an installer for everything, just choose the right option!) I know it's his operating system 9 and earlier; However, I say not 100% sure if 11 system is like that; However, I can't imagine it to be different.

  To FDM, simply select the Workbench option in the main menu installshield to get the installed client.

  On the old SA520W, I was able to configure alias IP XX. XX. XX.47 and XX. XX. XX.46 with firewall rules if 47 designated SBS1 and 46 stressed SBS2 to their respective ports.

  The feature you're looking for is called NAT of individuals on most routers Cisco SMB. You can find under Setup.

To save sets of rules in a centralized directory and configure maker data as follows the rule of this directory may be an option. How can I fix this with Data Modeler? I am able to create and save sets of rules. But where are these sets of rules located on my system? And how should I configure Data Modeler for read sets of rules somewhere else? It is possible at all? Help, please.

  All data, same exchange rate, are loaded by FDM tDataSegx tables. Identify the location that you load through exchange rate and will give you the reference to the correct tDataSeg table. On the top of my head, I don't know the HFM table, but why would you want to query these tables directly as you can view the information you need - FDM both HFM in the relevant application forms?

• Authentication problem with rules restrict and fw vShield

  I have a strange problem with my Loadbalancer FW rules.

  My client in the face of orifice is VMNIC-1

  My cell face port server is VMNIC-2

  I have configured the FW rules to allow HTTPS of VMNIC-1 VMNIC-2 traffic

  This allows me to see the page of the portal without problem.

  When I type my user name and password, I get an authentication error and it will fail to authenticate.

  If I change the FW rule allowing HTTPS from VMNIC-1 to all it works!

  I thought that the road of authentication must be face VC of the cell server port and handled in the backend?

  I don't know why authentication requires that the client HTTPS to access somewhere other than just the Portal Server cell network card?

  I'm slowly open ports on different servers etc to see what is the cause, but I thought I'd post here in case someone can give a better description on the authentication model.

  OK, this is the solution for your firewall rules on a loadbalancer for servers in the cell.

  Do not use the auto rules

  Configure HTTPS for outside access to vse (it's the services vshield iin this case loadbalancing)

  Configure HTTPS access to the vse to the IP addresses of your cell servers explicit.

  I think that now, it means that your request arrives in the vse (Vshield Edge), which then makes the front appearance of transfer to the IP addresses that you specified for the cell of load-balancing servers.

  There are no. Any Any configurations and the default rule is set to deny.

  I positioned guides on the image for purposes of measurement.  I have the snap-to Guides on. I used the ruler tool snap a guide and I extended a straight line to the other guide (the SHIFT key down). The ruler tool read 712 pixels.

  Then I used the marquee tool to align the guides and it read x 720 pixels.

  Where?  In the Info Panel?  If Yes, have you read the W (width) and not the X (horizontal pixel position)?

  I created a 11.1.1.3 planning request Multicurrency, create a table of rates of Exchange and conversion planning scripts who appeared for selection in my data form, and these scripts work very well and calculate currency conversion correctly so far. So I decided to run only integrated planning < Calculate currencies > business rule and it has also calculated the conversion of currencies very well. I tried to find this rule in the Regional service console to see his script, and I just couldn't! Then I decided to play around with it and I deleted all my scripts generated currency conversion, refreshed Essbase and re-run rule < calculate currencies > and again calculated the right currency conversion.   Currencies to calculate is only for members on the form

  The business rule to calculate the currencies is based on the dimensions and Member on the data form. It converts the data from the local currency to the currency of presentation on the data form, apply the exchange rate conversion. She:
