run a subsequence (or a few) in a thread in a parallel model

I have several threads running - I want that the first turning a device of some on and the rest of them just jump this subsequence.

Rather than designing a system of flags - I was hoping there is a way to fix the synchronization behavior similar to the option to synchronize batch of 'a thread only "?

Is it possible to have the entire sequence by the collar of the stage at the end which turned off the camera and the last of them, execution of the tower off?

Hi rsmrostov.

See this topic: http://forums.ni.com/t5/NI-TestStand/Implementation-of-synchronization-steps-without-using-batch-or/...

Batch synchronization step types only works when you use the process model of batch processing (without extra implementation on your part to synchronize the threads running in parallel process model).

TestStand provides batch step specification to define a group of threads; to perform a synchronization batch in a non - batch process template. See the file attached sequence for a reference to an implementation using the specification of the batch steps.

    Just bought PC toshiba A500-025.

When I put in some disc in the optical drive, it runs very fast and makes the phone vibrates.

I was told that there is a toshiba utility that detects an imbalance in the disc and slows down the speed of the drive, but I don't know where to find this software utility.

    Thank you.

    Hello

I think you mean the acoustic silencer
As I remember, such tool was available for some laptops with pre-installed Win XP or Vista.
For example; the acoustic silencer was available for some of the Satellite A200 and you could download this on the European driver Toshiba page.

To be honest, there s nothing unusual that the CD/DVD drive runs very fast for a few moments, this happens in my portable two different.
The STRANGE turns very quickly for a few seconds after the CD has been inserted.
This happens because as the research of windows OS for the content placed on the disc

  • Satellite L650-11R - a few questions about this

    Hello there :-)

I have a few questions about my new L650.

I've never had Toshiba notebook before so I apologize if some of these "quirks" are actually quite normal on this laptop. I really want to hear the views of other users L650.

    1)
First of all, by the time I turned it on I saw gradient thin (1-2 mm) along the right edge of the screen that goes from the bottom up. Maybe "degraded" isn't the right word, but it seems that since two or three pixels are kind of discoloration or lose brightness/sharpness to the edge along the straight bezel. It is not really that visible, looks like the colors are desaturated a bit here or brightness is a bit lacking. He can be seen everywhere (bios or no color in Windows, but better in the lighter background).
The left side (or other) seems ok, all this along the right edge is somewhat suspicious. If one can compare? I don't know if it's something to worry about or is just supposed to be like that.

    2)
The other thing I noticed heating of the processor (Intel i3 330M) and GPU (ATi Mobility Radeon 5650). It's pretty hot here right now (I would say that the temperature is around 28 degrees Celsius when using cell phones). He is sitting on the hard surface (table) and nothing is blocking the vents.
However, at "rest" (surf the web & regular light stuff), average CPU temp hovers around 58 ° C. It usually goes from 45 to 62 in just a few minutes after starting, and then I can hear and see (Toshiba PC Health Monitor) evacuate the kicks in. Temp goes back to 50 +, event stops and then the temp rises to 60 + until the vent is used again.
During load full (Prime95 or some games), CPU is going all the way up to 75 degrees (the highest being 77). Fan runs at 75 to 77% during this time, never go faster.

GPU idling is usually around 5 degrees above temp CPU (62-65). During full load (for example. Benchmark of Far Cry 2), I see a lot of stuttering with the latest drivers Catalyst and DX10 (not sure if the stuttering has something to do with heat), otherwise it is ok (no artifacts or anything like that). Temp of GPU during the loading goes up to 74-75, fan speed is locked at 30%, the frequency of the heart 5650 is 450 MHz. left side of the laptop (vent and below) is pretty hot, while the keyboard is warm (or slightly warmer who who).

These time seems correct and safe in the long term? I'd rather events works all the time (they aren't really very strong) and keeping time less than 50, but there are just wishful pious bios control events and I can't control not the bios. :-)

    3)
This is just General related products. :-)
Official specifications of Toshiba L650 say ATi 5650 (between other low range GPU), but I saw a few specifications calling for there 5730 (same model 11R). Is there really a Satellite L650 with ATi 5730 GPU models?

Sorry for the long post, I tried to include the best possible description that I could do. :-)

    Thank you in advance.

    Thanks for the additional info!

  • Filers: do run more than once.

    Hello

I started to learn from notifiers and occurrences by reading through the forums and by looking at the examples of labview. I need to use the feature of notifiers/occurrences in my VI and I choose to use the authors of notifications.  I'll give a slight description of the feature that I put in place and the issue I'm facing. (The VI is attached to this post)

On the front of my VI I have a button labeled Run which, once clicked is recognized by the structure of the event. This structure of the event is in a while so that I can read the event Run value change all the time loop. By clicking on the run button, I want a specific run block diagram and for this I used a notifier so that once that you click on the button to run the Notifier is sent the specific schema where wait on notification is used to receive and execute this block diagram. Now, when this specific scheme is running the value button Run is changed to accurate and after all of the block diagram is executed the value is changed to false, so the next time you click on the run button it must send a notification and rerun the desired block diagram.

Well, the problem I have is that I am able to send notification only once, when after the scheme wanted end execution and I click the button run again my opinion is not sent and I don't know why this happens. Any help on this is greatly appreciated.

In the attached VI, I described the skeleton of the application I'm building.

    Thank you.

The code you want to be repeated in a framing sequence, it runs only once. In addition, you must add a way to stop the loop of your event without having to press the Cancel button. You also created 2 notifiers called RUN, I'm not sure, but it's probably something you shouldn't do. You should also look at a few examples of the use of parallel loops. Another thing, you must always release the notifier before you stop the VI.

I have attached a small example (probably requiring some improvement).

The mouse pointer disappears when you run one of quite a few games under Win7 64-bit. • If I buy windows 7 run my games that are vista

If the game is for vista will work on 7

In most cases yes.  Indeed, if the game is made for Vista, it will almost certainly work.  If the game is made for XP and it worked on Vista, it will likely run.  There are a few exceptions, but not many.

  • RUNNING AND RUNNING AND RUNNING UPDATE

My desktop pc and my laptop both running on Vista. A few months ago, I had a problem with my laptop - when you the turned on, he told me it was updated 3 3-0% complete configuration and it turns off after a few minutes and restart and start all over again. I had to do a system restore and restore the system to an earlier date and then it worked fine. NOW, I have the same problem with my PC. Unfortunately, when I run the system restore, it just runs and runs and - hours. Does not. Tech support tells me that I have to put my system returns with a system recovery - total headache I have to reinstall all my software again. How can I prevent future problems? How will I know when an update is really needed for my sysytem? Of course, the latter was just incoherent.

Windows Update installs only the Updater you machine that supposedly require.

Before making a full recovery, try this:

Download the ISO on the provided link and do a repair of the disc.

Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

You can make a tool to restart system, System Restore, etc. with it.

Read all the info on the website on how to create and use it.

    http://NeoSmart.net/blog/2008/Windows-Vista-recovery-disc-download/

    ISO Burner: http://www.snapfiles.com/get/active-isoburner.html

It's a very good Vista repair disc.

You can do a system restart tool, system, etc it restore.

There is not a disk of resettlement.

And the 32-bit is what normally comes on a computer, unless 64-bit.

    It will be useful.

    See you soon.

  • After win7sp1 clean install on a new hard drive, Windows Update runs forever - have tried MANY fixes

    April 2, 2016

For several days, I have reproduced this problem by starting with a W7Sp1 drive and also start with a considerably older drive of W7.  The old installation of W7 is going very well, first run of WUpdate receives a few fixes, apply and restart.  Rerun WUpdate and she finds Sp1.  Installation of Sp1.  Rerun Wupdate and it says to upgrade to a new Wupdate.

After the SP1 update and the new windows update, this system offers the same WUpdate symptoms as if from the W7Sp1 disk.  Immediately after the installation of the drive, run the wupdate.  He said: it must be updated to a new Wupdate.

(PS in each Installer Win7, I authenticated the product key and activated windows.)

After that, Windows Update never runs you want fixed.  (Left running 10 hours overnight).

(NO OTHER programs or anything like that is installed after installing Win7 and starting with Windows Update problems).

    =============================================================

    I found 2 programs: FixitAllUp.

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/971058 - downloading "MicrosoftFixit.wu.MATSKB.Run". (Chasing a "minimal boot"). The last time I have raced, he said if found 2 problems, but only fixed a.  I hit the button Details where he says that he finds the same 2 problems and fixed them BOTH.  It corrects "Missing or damaged registration Service" he said: he can't solve 'Installation problems of the recent updates' - but when you hit details it button show both under "green checkmark" FIXED.  (I also tried to run this several times, and he always finds and he said exactly the same thing, as did the first round).

Also have run "WindowsUpdateDiagnostic" downloaded from the microsoft site.  It's the same notes 2 problems and fixed one or both depending on if you are looking the summary or detail.

I read many many cases of a problem that dates back to 2011 and with various assumptions for this problem.

AND YET, Windows Update checks the updates for EVER and EVER.

    Help

There is a solution and it works very well...

    Windows Update problem (new)

The following procedure applies in the case of installation (reinstall) Windows 7.  It does not apply to a usual, normal day.

I'm afraid that you will do the reinstall again.  Not a terrible penalty to pay.  Usually takes less than an hour.  Then immediately proceed to the next procedure.   It's strange, but it really does work and many people have proved it.

NEVER install anything other than Windows updates until your system is up-to-date.  Once you have the list update, install all together.  Installation of updates in batches is not expedite the process or do better.

    1. Before you begin to re - install, download (32 or 64 bit) KB3083710 and KB3102810 in advance and store on a USB
    2. Start and end the re - install Windows 7 SP1
    3. Before that the newly installed system can go online for the first time, Disconnect the computer from the Internet.  This chronology is essential.  The system should NOT have access to the Internet when it starts.
    4. Install KB3083710 and reboot manually.
    5. Install KB3102810 and reboot manually.
    6. Restore the Internet connection, and run Windows Update as usual.
    7. After a few minutes, you should have a lot of updates to download and install.

Advice from the Oracle Johny: OAF: issues related to the Substitution of VO in the Oracle Applications Framework - Part1

    See you soon

    AJ

  • Back up the file boot on a system running system.

Recently, my server ESXi 5.5 showed an error:

Lost connectivity to the mpx.vmhba32:C0:T0:L0 device support the start file vmfs/devices/disks/mpx.vmhba32:C0:T0:L0 system. As a result, the host configuration changes will not be saved in persistent storage.

    To give some basic information:

The server is an HP ProLiant ML350 G6 2 x Xeon E5504 with 72 GB of RAM. I have a P410i Raid Controller with 8 disks (RAID-5 7 with 1 spare part) and an Areca ARC-1220 with 8 disks in RAID-5. The P410i RAID-table is used for Virtual Machines, while the table on the Areca is used for the storage of the largest. I got 5.5 ESXi (downloaded an image on the official site of HP - HP-ESXi-5.5.0-Update3-iso-550.9.3.26) installed on a USB key (Sandisk Extreme USB 3.0 16 GB) places in the internal USB slot on the motherboard.

Nobody near the server at the time that that was the problem. So, I'm sure it's not because someone bumped into the USB or something.

Of course, I looked around to see if anyone has exactly the same problem or knows how to solve it properly. So far, I have not found something I could use. I know now that once started, ESXi is completely loaded into RAM, so I could just plug it into the USB and examine it. I inspected the USB and found no problems when I put it in my office. To be sure I saved the USB while Paragon backup and restore. After you reconnect the server continues to display the error. When I start SSH and search for devices, ""mpx.vmhba32:C0:T0:L0 "does show, but I have no idea of what I can do with it to make sure that the current running configuration gets saved back to this USB and make sure that when the server is restarted, it will load my configuration. "

I hope someone can help or tell me what I am doing wrong.

    Thank you

Finally, I had enough time to close all VM and try a few things.

For those interested, it was my job steps to restore my ESXi.

    1. ESXi set in maintenance mode
    2. Download VMware vSphere PowerCLI
    3. Run as administrator
    4. Connect to ESXi (Connect-VIServer-Server 0.0.0.0 - user user - pass pass) - where 0.0.0.0 = ESXi ip, user = user name for ESXi and pass = password for this connection.
    5. Save the current running configuration (Get-VMHost 0.0.0.0 |) Get - VMHostFirmware - BackupConfiguration - DestinationPath "D:\temp\") - where 0.0.0.0 = ip of ESXi, "D:\temp\" = destination for the backup folder (don't forget this folder exists on the PC that you run from)
    6. Stop your ESXi host

Now at this stage, it proved there was nothing wrong with my USB key, for a reason any ESXi do not use it until I rebooted the system, of course the configuration that it charge was outdated, so I restored the configuration for the backup, I just do. It could also be that your USB key (or any other boot drive) is default and you must completely reinstall ESXi. However, after a clean installation, that you can also simply restore the backup configuration. To restore the backup, I used the following steps:

    1. You start ESXi host (make sure it is installed)
    2. Connect to ESXi (Connect-VIServer-Server 0.0.0.0 - user user - pass pass) - where 0.0.0.0 = ESXi ip, user = user name for ESXi and pass = password for this connection.
    3. Restore the backup configuration (Get-VMHost 0.0.0.0 |) Set - VMHostFirmware - restore - Force - SourcePath "D:\temp\configBundle-0.0.0.0.tgz") - where 0.0.0.0 = ip of ESXi, ' D:\temp\configBundle - 0.0.0.0.tgz' = the configuration file (make sure that this file exists on the PC that you run from)
    4. Wait a few seconds, if it does not automatically restart, do it manually
    5. The configuration should now be loaded again, and the missing boot drive error should be gone.

I hope this helps someone else who has the same problem

  • ESXi 5.5 craching every time that a specific server is running

Turn Dell 710, running 5.5 from a few days ago.  He had been running 5.0 for a time before that.  I have three VM, two are 08 R2 and one is a 12 R2.  I've implemented a new is 12 R2 and will replace one of the VM 08.  When I start the new virtual machine, it can operate for 5 minutes, he can walk for an hour, but it seems that when I try to copy all data from the old vm on the same host to the news that it will happen in a minute or two:

Can someone me idea in what I want here?

Looks like you are facing this problem: VMware ESXi host 5.x undergoes a screen to diagnosis purple mentioning E1000PollRxRing and E1000DevRx (2059053)

Find the virtual machine with virtual network E1000 card and replace with VMXNET3.

  • Data mining - Workflow running indefinitely

    Hello
I am a new user of minor data (sql developer 3.0.04). While following the instructions in "Using Oracle Data Miner 11 g Release 2" and runs a model or only data Explorer, I get the same result: it says that it runs, but it runs indefinitely.
I receive pending status when I run this command (from one of the existing threads):
    Select W.status, P.user_name, P.project_name, W.workflow_name, W.workflow_id, W.last_updated_time, W.chain_name
    OF ODMRSYS. WORKFLOW ODMR$ W, ODMRSYS. ODMR$ PROJECTS P
    WHERE STATUS IN ('INACTIVE')
    AND W.project_id = P.project_id
and when I tried a command previously recommended break-in: exec DM_START_MONITOR, I received an error message (identifier "DM_START_MONITOR" must be declared).
Thank you for taking the time!
    Yuval

    Hi Yuval,
I think you'd will forge a much better general (new features, bug fixes), if you download the last Dev SQL and use it.
Just drop the existing repository and load a new SQL Dev 3.2.2
Given that you're just starting, it is best to start with the repository version fresh you can.
In regard to the workflow does not, which is related to the Oracle Scheduler administration settings.
The function that you used DM_START_MONITOR is for the former product of 10.2/11.1 Data Miner, also known as Data Miner Classic.
Here are a few Oracle Scheduler operations that should go you.
    Thank you, Mark

Question: How can I stop the Scheduler?

    Answer:

    ALTER SYSTEM SET JOB_QUEUE_PROCESSES = 0;

The following query confirms that the work is planned:

    Select * from DBA_SCHEDULER_JOBS;

    Then re-enable it:

    ALTER SYSTEM SET JOB_QUEUE_PROCESSES = 100;

To see what the current setting is managed the following as sys:

    Select * from parameter $ v where name = 'job_queue_processes;

If the value is set to 1, then only a single stream of work would be able to run at a time.

Question: Why my workflow tasks are not running?

Here is a link to a number of possibilities which would limit the jobs of the race:
