  • Run the .bat file using fileObj.execute () showing the result by completely removing the lines of code in extend script?

    Hi guys

    I created a dynamic .bat file created inside java and copy it to a location and managed through fileObj.execute ();

    Example of

    -------------------

    var line1 = 'some code ";

    var line2 = 'some code ";

    myCode var = line 1 + line 2;

    var myFileC = new file

    myFileC.open ('w');

    myFileC.write (myCode);

    myFileC.copy ("some location\file.bat");

    myFileC.close ();

    Run the .bat file

    batFile var = new file ("of the location\file.bat");

    batFile.execute ();

    Now .bat file is successfully executed but the content of this file created bat shows up to extend in script by removing all my code above...

    I have to cancel to do back whenever I run and sometimes accidentally I saved it lose all the code.

    can someone help with this problem?

    Simply change it to this:

    var myFileC = new File ("some location\file.bat");

    myFileC.open ('w');

    myFileC.write (myCode);

    myFileC.close ();

  • Run the bat with cfexecute

    Hello
    This is a newbie question, but I'm stuck. I have a .bat that works very well through the command prompt, but doesn't work with < cfexecute >, it seems simply to read the .bat but not run. The .bat reads as follows:

    Java - classpath ".;" C:\CFusionMX7\wwwroot\i-recall\javaClasses\GATE-3.1\bin\gate.jar' AnnieAPI

    "When I run < cfexecute name="C:\CFusionMX7\wwwroot\i-recall\javaClasses\GateClasspathRun.bat ' variable = "myVar" timeout = "100" >
    < / cfexecute >

    The output looks like this:
    C:\CFusionMX7\runtime\bin > java - classpath "C:\CFusionMX7\wwwroot\i-recall\javaClasses\GATE-3.1\bin\gate.jar" AnnieAPI

    Simply, he reads and does not run the AnnieAPI java command. I didn't write so maybe I need to add something to run this .bat file. Any help is appreciated.

    Kalen - G

    I thought about it. Even if the bat file and the java class are in the same folder, I did specify the location by adding the following lines at the beginning of the .bat file:

    EDI
    CD cfusionmx7/wwwroot/i-reminder/javaClasses

    Now it works perfectly. Thanks for all the help, I appreciate it.

    Why am I unable to run bat files in my pc. When I double click on them just opens and closes and I don't understand what is the real problem?

    If it opens and closes, it probably * is * running the file beats. Only you don't see the results because it is all happening too fast.

    To view the results, change the way you run. Rather than run the bat file, run the CMD command. Then run the file bat in the CMD window that opens.

    I, stupid, changed the program by default to a BAT file to the cmd prompt, well, now I can't run the batch files now, please help!

    Hi William,.

    Welcome to the Microsoft community.

    Batch file is a type of script file, a text file, containing a series of commands to be executed by the command prompt. When you run a batch file, it opens the command prompt to run the scripts.

    It would be great if you can answer the following questions:

    1. what happens when you try to run a batch file?

    2 are. what batch file you referring?

    3. the problem occurs for a particular batch file?

    First of all, I suggest you to check the commands written in a batch file. To do the same thing, just right-click on the batch file, and then click change. It will open Notepad with the list of orders scripted for this particular batch file.

    If you have additional questions on the computer, please ask your question about Windows and we will be happy to help you.

  • I can not run any .bat and cannot open the cmd prompt

    I can't run the files .bat and most horrible thing I've ever met is a missing cmd.exe. It's starts with me trying to play Assault Cube, which must run on a .bat instead of .exe like other games. But whenever I try to open a batch file, it keeps gives an error "Windowscannot find"file to the .bat file (directory)". Make sure you typed the name correctly and try again. "Each. Time.

    So, as everyone will do, they search the Internet. I would like to do is short.
    A virus? No, my laptop is clean after scanning with Malwarebytes. You have to open as an Admin? Yes, but I got an error saying "this file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action." Please install a program or, if such is already installed, create an association in the default programs control panel'.» Tried to do? Well I think that it is impossible for the command prompt to be included in the default values list. I tried open the command prompt by typing "cmd" and pressing on enter the Start Menu? So many times I've tried, but it's endless. Whenever I do this, the command prompt displays upward and 0.5 seconds later, it's farm/accidents/output by itself. Now 0.1 second.
    So, I thought on this subject and I typed in the start 'Command Prompt' Menu. When I see the icon, it's like the path or the file is missing of some sort. So I click right on the top that says "Command Prompt" and click on the option "open the file location, which made me feel weird as there should be no such thing as an option for a file that is part of the folder system32." I was directed to ' C:\Users\Acer\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Accessories'.
    I found a shortcut to the command prompt, but I checked the file in "position to open the file", the location of the file is not displayed (opens in a new window as every time it is done). Also the guest who said when every time the .exe is missing is not indicated where we gave options to remove the .lnk. But it shows same either. If the file should be there, but it seems that the cmd is absent when I searched in system32.
    So, I'm at the blunt end to try to do things and to rely on some other cmd work and one question remains to ask with your opinion, are there links to download Microsoft cmd or is it even safe to use the another cmd PCs or by downloading?

    JAVA_HOME is a regular path whenever we install JDK in our machine and if it does not support other tools.

    ODI_JAVA_HOME we define as the JDK path even as ODI motor needed Java and backgrond processes for studio ODI

  • How to run the Extendscript .bat file?

    I have a file with some instructions .bat and I want that it runs from Extendscript.

    How to run the Extendscript .bat file?

    I tried execute(); order and it seems that .bat ran but no result, but when I double click on the .bat file all worksout very well.

    How used runtime.exec () extend the script?

    Can I communicate with Java JDK thru ExtendScript and run commands such as runtime.exec ()?

    can someone please?

    You can do it like this:

    var batFile = new File("C:\\path\\to\\my\\batfile.bat");
    batFile.execute();

    Note that this will only work if your system is configured in such a way that by double-clicking the .bat file runs it in reality.

    You can also use

    system.callSystem()

    but note that this is only available in AE.

  • Run the file custom FDM webscript bat

    Hello

    I'm a guy essbase/planning being introduced to the world of FDM and I have a custom webscript base that runs a .bat file that needs to copy some files, no maxl, just a simple COPY of MSDOS commands. The script is the following:

    Dim strCMD

    strCMD = "\ < servername > \FDMAPP\COPYFILES.bat.

    API. DataWindow.Utilities.mShellAndWait strCMD, 0

    When I run the script FDM appears "the script was successfully run" with no errors in the log, but the files are not copied.

    I know that the file is is that I added a script that displays the bat script.

    Will be the mShellAndWait command work only for running maxl commands or all sorts of external processes?

  • Running the build manually with build.bat process

    Is it necessary to execute the file build.bat on the same machine where the ThinApp package was captured. In other words, if I copy the capture of the capture machine 'Clean' return directory to my developer workstation, then tweak the content and configuration files. Is it safe to run build.bat on 'dirty' developer, or who will taint the EXE that is created?

    Hi John,.

    You don't need to build the Thinapp on the packaging machine. You can build on any own or a machine dirty. But you must have installed Thinapp or copy of the Vmware Thinapp directory on the machine where you create the package.

    If you try to build the Thinapp package on a machine in which Thinapp is not installed (or there is no copy of the Vmware Thinapp directory) then the process stops with an error message.

    Thank you and best regards,

    Pallavi S
