  "failed execution of the server" I get this message only after letting a clip to run until the end. If I stop the clip before it has reached the end and then I immediately watch another clip. If however I let run all the way, then next time I start a clip I get this error message. But once this error message I press play again and the clip starts without problems.   Method 1.

  Now you must stop the Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service and check the number, to do that you must follow the steps below.

  I'd start first with the chkdsk/r.

  Don't forget - if you have a factory installed recovery Partition, fixmbr will scan it as the Master Boot Record that written XP will equal not the MBR installed by the factory, so first run chkdsk /r (did I say that already)?

  A good idea before you start things must first verify the integrity of your file system by using the chkdsk command.
