  I have one server RDBMS to Oracle EBS 12.1.3 & discoverer 11i production 11.2.3, of accommodation and I need to create a server DEV (virtual) of VM on this PROD. My Sys Admin will create the virtual computer, rename and give it a new ip address. Therefore, I need documentation on how to configure these three components (DB, EBS 12i and discoverer (fusion) 12i) so that they work properly with the new ip address and host name. How should I proceed with this treo?

  is it possible to rename a guest operating system safe? I tested changing the host name of the virtual machine, but all the files as the vmdk, vmx file file were not reflected.   To rename the virtual machine files, the simplest method is to rename migrate the virtual computer in the inventory and then either cold or Storage VMotion, virtual machine in another data store.

  It is also possible to rename the files manually, however it is not just a simple renaming, you will need to use the vmkfstools command example to rename vmdk files and also have to edit some files. In addition to that the virtual machine does not have pictures!

  I have an ESXi4 host that I just added to vCenter.  It was the license test.  I changed it to a registered license.  Don't think it would be a problem for my problem.   When I added it to vCenter he would not accept the name of ESX100.  So, I had to use the IP address.  There are in with the Ip address vCenter.  I want to change it to ESX100.   When I display the DNS settings, it is labeled ESX100.   Confused.

  ESXi only records with DNS, you need to manually add a host record for the ESXi host.  Once you have done this, and you can ping on the host by host to vCenter name, right-click on the existing host and select Delete.  Then add the host DNS name.  SMV will stay running during this change.

  I had the same problem and disassemble/initialize using has solved the problem. I have not found another way to make little unfortunately.

  But what you can do if you have a lot of registered servers is to export the registry DSCC LDIF, before
  Disassembly. Then, make a copy of export LDIF, to keep only the entries corresponding to the same servers,
  reset the DSCC registry and import the LDIF updated the ' ldapmodify - AC» It will save you time.

  ./adconfig.sh contextfile = $ORACLE_HOME/appsutil/PROD_ < nouvelhote > .xml
  
  While doing this adconfig it is completed with errors...

  Someone at - it measures to change the hostname post install WHO? My problem is that I have installed EM with the virtual host name that I intended to use as my PES hostname. So when I go to cut course using PES, then install the first SGD will break and be inaccessible to another WHO. Was able to get the first SGD working by putting an alias to hostname in/etc/hosts of the first OMS, but when I go to install the second SGD, of course, he says that he cannot reach the first SGD server using the SLB url. My bad, did this way of thinking that would save me having to re - establish hundreds of agents, which he did, but can't raise the second SGD. I think out of this I can choose a new hostname PES or just to change the host name of the installed WHO that I prefer to do about 50 dba has a link to this url to console 'EM.   Unfortunately, the only way I know to solve this problem is to perform a restore of the WHO using the different host.    basic steps to below, I have the doc that I have set up for a client a few years ago will try to turn into a blog and post here...

  Then follow the steps for the restoration of the WHO.  You don't have to physically restore the SW, but you will need to remove the gc_inst and agent_inst respectively (move _OLD or something) they'll get re-created using the new hostname info in files, have to also remove the agent from the rest.

• OfficeJet 8600: Cannot change network settings

  I have the same problem, as described in this previous thread where you can't change any settings when connecting to the printer via EWS.  Due to the installation, I use a box with Windows Server R2 2012.

  I can't change the IP address I get the message 'invalid input '.   I tried using the compatibility settings, but applying that makes blank pages.   I noticed that I get the same message when I try to change the hostname also like the OP did in the above link.

  Are there updates for this problem?

  I could change it using Google Chrome on Windows 10... I guess he doesn't like IE on Windows Server?

  Work space and navigation are fine, but forms when you access planning gives an error and check the newspaper.  EAS via essbase gives a network error, unable to connect.  If I try to open a calc script or outline what EAS is just I have to kill it with Task Manager

  Looking for avenues of what to check next
