Hello and welcome,
Make sure that this router have no firewall or filtered mac address running...
try to reset the router and plug in wired LAN...
don't forget to turn on wireless, the S10-3 is on the side of the right screen key near the hinge...
IP Address: 169.254.15.3 wrong - should be 192.168.xxx.xxx in this range
Subnet mask: 255.255.0.0 - wrongly - must be 255.255.255.0

Satellite L735 does not connect to the internet (wired and wireless)
Hello
I have a brand new L735 satellite, and I'm having a lot of trouble with internet connections.
When I connect to a wireless network it is the profile and connects but still then doesn't say: "no internet access" for two IPv4 qnd IPv6 connectivity status.
I tried troubleshooting, turing off the computer, and wireless network and stil back, but it does not.The same phenomenon occurs with the workplace wireless, despite other computers that connect to this good (so it does not come from the networks). I also tried to connect to work with an ethernet cable but no luck.
I have the Atheros AR9002WB-1NG wireless network card and the Atheros AR8152/8158 PCI - E Fast ethernet controller.
I don't know what to do as the laptop is new and so it should not need to updates, all parameters are default, etc.. I'd appreciate some help here!
Hello
Uninstall or disable the TCP/IPv6 and use only TCP/IPv4 protocol.
Also check whether in the properties of TCP/IPv4, IP address and other parameters are defined to assign automaticallyI recommend also check the firewall and some security applications that may be preinstalled on your laptop.
It might be possible that antivirus or firewall block the laptop to connect to internet. -
NB100 - new user. Unable to connect to the internet via a wireless connection
* What can someone help please.*
I bought a NB100 (Ubuntu) yesterday.
He walks and he finds our Wi - Fi connection and got to the web. Large.I then ran "Update Manager" and since then I can not get internet connection.
In 'Network settings' it shows only "Wired" & "Point to point" as the connection types. Also when I now click on 'Firefox Web Browser', 'Update Manager', 'Pilot' or 'Add Remove Programs' the equivalent circular hourglass appears for a few seconds, then disappears. The application does not start.
Any guidance would be appreciated.
Thank you.Post edited by: ikelsey
That's exactly what happened here. See my post very recent inquiry about obtaining later to work. Which might be of interest, you can try the latest version to see what you think without having to install.
With personal advice of an expert, we got the original Toshiba up-to-date and very well with the internet installation, but he still had "problems" with the sharing of files on my Windows network.

If you are still unable to connect to the internet with a wireless and wired connection, make sure first that the wireless card is turned on. On most laptops, there is a button in the front of the laptop. If you are still unable to connect to the internet, follow the steps described in this document.

Unable to connect to the internet update version
I've updated to the latest version 35, but since then, the browser seems unable to connect to the internet. I thought it was my firewall that was blocking the program. I did what was suggested to work around this problem, that is, to remove my firewall and then add it again. But it does not solve the problem. There is nothing wrong with my internet, how am I be able to connect to internet by using IE or Chrome. And I was able to connect to the internet in the previous version of Firefox. Unfortunately, the new updated version is not allow me to. Have no solution?
It is possible that your security (firewall, antivirus) software blocks or limit Firefox or the process of plugin-container without you inform, possibly after the detection of changes (update) for the Firefox program.
Delete all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container in the permissions list in the firewall and leave your firewall again ask permission to get full unlimited access to the internet for Firefox and the plugin-container and the update process.

Satellite L300-1 a 6 - unable to connect to the internet
I have a problem - unable to connect to the Internet.
First of all, I try to use internet DSL from phone, there was no result.
Then I try to use digital TV internet - no result.
Laptop does not detect a network, it says - undefined network.
My firewall is active, now I use a modem to laptop...
Sorry, but I don't understand how you have configured your DSL router/modem.
First of all, you need to configure the router and need to insert all the data from your ISP (Internet service provider).
Usually the model or DSL with router assigns the IP address. Therefore, only connect your LAN cable to the LAN books and you should get a connection to the DSL router/modem.I think that in most cases the whole process is described in the manual of the router

I have a Dell Inspiron 2650-system of operating Windows XP. I am unable to connect to the internet. Status: Network cable unplugged. Where did this cable located on the laptop?
The network port is the port on the laptop (it is not that large - look around) that looks like a large phone connection.
You have a router/network to connect to and a cable network to connect with?
Look at the 'Network option' part of the poster:

Setup is unable to connect to the Internet
When I try to download and install programs on my desktop, I get an error message indicating that Setup is unable to connect to the internet. How to fix this?
Hi NardoBailey,
1. did you of recent changes on the computer?
2 when was the last time it was working fine?
3. What is the full error message that you receive?
4. you receive the error message when you install any program on the computer?
It is possible that some third-party programs installed on the computer is causing the problem.
I suggest that you put the computer in a clean boot state and check if it helps.
To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows XP by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.
See the link below to learn more about how to clean boot.
