S2240L, no warranty, replacement?

I have the same problem with S2240L. Also please tell me if there is no solution.

As I said in the other thread, if the Panel is broken and the warranty has expired, you can simply replace the whole monitor or look for the Panel on eBay.

If I bought a second hand iPhone damaged by water - that I had never used it myself - would it be eligible for out-of-warranty replacement? (In other words, could I legitimately replace on the Apple Store for a price)?

As long as the phone has not been opened by the provider to the last owner or service not authorized, you can provide proof of purchase and it is eligible under the terms of repair, Apple could do that.

    Out of warranty repair service

If your repair is not covered by Apple limited one-year AppleCare warranty + or AppleCare Protection Plan, your iPhone may be eligible for out-of-warranty service. For example, the liquid damage is not covered by the warranty, but may be eligible for out-of-warranty service. Some damage is not eligible, for example, if your device has been broken into several pieces. See the terms of repair of Apple and Conditions for more details.

  • printhead warranty-replaced; now can't use my cartridges

Just got a new print head (warranty replacement) for my HP Officejet Pro 8600.

Reinstalled my old cartridges, got an error message saying not not to use cartridges Setup (I'm still on the original cartridges, which judging by the liquid I hear still have plenty of life left).

Tried the game cartridges that were included with the replacement printhead, but they are also installing cartridges if I get the same message.

Obviously, the failure of the printer accepts the cartridges is related to the failure or replacement of the print head.

"Ron" in the shipping of India tech support dept said that the only solution is for me to go buy new cartridges.

In addition, he tried to make me believe that the original configuration cartridges supplied with the printer are not supposed to be used for a long time, but rather just to get the printer initialized - this is of course total BS.

I'm a little annoyed that "Ron" think, because of a problem with the printhead warranty, it's OK that I'm on the cost of a new set of cartridges.

I'm going basic here?  Seems reasonable to me to expect HP to send me cartridges that work with the new print head, so I'm done together again and I have a functional printer.

I ask HP admins here to expand it.  I suspect that there is a sequence to reset that support should be able to provide that would put the printer in a mode where it should be as the startup cartridges.

The hard drive is accessible to the customer on your model. The upgrade or replacement of the disc will not void the warranty. You also have access to an mSATA/WSSD slot in car. Here is the Service Manual:

  • Reference Dell W3707C warranty replacement?

I have a Dell W3707C and HDMI inputs have gone bad.  When you connect via HDMI there is two huge white bars that go vertically across the screen.  The Dell customer service is to send me a replacement warranty.  Dell brings more LCD TVs so I was curious to know what they're going to send me?

  • U2711 warranty replacement...

I just bought a Dell U2711 monitor - it arrived Wednesday (January 9, 2013). It was purchased from a re-seller of Dell, so the screen's original shipping date was September 20, 2012. The screen was a flaw - after about an hour, the left side became distorted. I contacted the seller who recommended that I went directly to Dell for a replacement warranty. Spoke with Dell, which confirmed the screen was at fault and they arranged to send a substitute. Replacement has been sent and arrived today (11 January 2013). Great service so far.

The original screen was built from July 2012 and has been the revision A13. The replacement screen has a construction date of July 2010 and revision A12. In addition, the original screen had the certificate of calibration and waiting a lot - and the replacement screen does not. In fact, replacement screen colors were so bad that I had to reset the default values and then play around with the settings to get something half decent - not very scientific!

Is this normal? I can't say that I am delighted that my 'new' screen is now 2.5 years old already. I know that the warranty will transfer, but at the end of the 3-year warranty, instead of 3.5 years, it will be 5.5 years - a big difference. This will of course reflect clearly in its future value.

What are my options? Can I refuse the replacement and ask for one as for the similar model?

    Thank you!

Problem solved. Alternative dating back to Dell, origin dating back to the supplier...

  • Warranty: Replacement policy

    Hey guys,.

Short version: Battery is broken. Need a new. Will not give access to my laptop somehow. What should do?

    Long version:

A few days ago, the battery 6 cells (model: 45N1023) of my ThinkPad X 230 (model: 2325CN3) has fallen to about 50 percent capacity. Today, it is about 45% (which means that if the battery is charged to 100%, it will only last 45% of the time he did when it was new). The device is November 2012, so I am still in the battery warranty 1 year and I would like to get a replacement.

I called technical support this morning and (after 15 minutes in the queue) they told me that the only way to get a spare battery is if I allow them to access my system remotely to solve the problem. The only other option would be to bring the product to a partner to guarantee and give them all my passwords so that they can solve the problems there.

I think that this policy is very professional, unnecessarily long and not acceptable at all for the following reasons.

    1. I do not use Windows, but Linux as operating system. I told the tech support on the phone. She told me that the battery replacement can be done only if the image of 'origin' is used (not sure what lie she by this, I think with image it refers to the operating system - a ridiculous statement anyway). I told her that I bought the laptop without a pre-installed system, it confuses not bad.
    2. I am very sensitive to my data and I sure as hell does not have remote access to a person who is obviously not even able to understand that I do not use Windows (it probably wouldn't work with Linux in all cases).
    3. Also, for the same reason, I not give my password and put my laptop. It is obviously not a software problem, then why can't I just send only the battery and get a replacement by mail? If absolutely necessary, I would be ready to send in the laptop, but without it's hard drives (the technician told me that it is not an option, but she refused to explain why). Since I use mSATA, which is difficult to remove, I would avoid it.

I'm pretty sure that Lenovo is legally obliged to give me a spare battery, even if I don't get back access to my laptop. I understand that the system using the troubleshooting battery makes it easier for support staff, but is not accetable to me at all. I chose Lenovo on Apple because I felt that Lenovo is more professional and respect the privacy of the client. Instead, I have to jump through hoops like that while Apple is to provide spares and candy free without delay.

Someone at - it similar experiences?

    Thank you!

  • Compatibility of the warranty replacement wireless adapter

I have the Dell Inspiron 15 500 I5558. I bought it in August this year. Since the 1st day, I had problems with the wireless adapter. I've updated the drivers, I did troubleshoot with Dell, etc. The card that came with the laptop Intel AC 3160 and if you Google Intel AC 3160, you'll get several hits from users having problems with it. My tech support was rude and very long. I knew a lot more technology has made.

He finally decided that the card was bad. I said please do not send me another 3160 - there is a problem with this card. He agreed and said he checked and AC 7265 would be compatible with my laptop. I saw pictures of my map and pictures of the AC 7265. They are two PCIe cards, but the AC 3160 has just an antenna and is half-height. The 7265 has 2 antennas and is NOT low profile. I saw on the Dell website that the NEW Dell 15 5000 comes with the AC 3165 (I think) or the AC7265.

I know that you need to have an added aerial if they use the 7265, but will it work? It fit?

I realize the 3160 is halfway, but this does not mean that there is not space for a larger map.

    Hello

It gets confusing you know that sometimes, but Intel has generally several form factors from each of their wireless cards that they put out.  (it's really a change on the chips that change).  It confuses me all the time.

I can tell you that looking at the internal view together data of the product for the Insp 5558 than the AC7265 from Intel is one of the cards which is listed as an option available at the point of sale, so you should have no problem.

    I hope this helps.

  • Apple will replace my irreparable out of warranty iphone 5?

I have an iPhone 5 that I bought in a store here in Ireland. There is no official apple store in Ireland, but I can bring a premium dealer. I had a problem with my iPhone a few months where the phone went into a constant reboot cycle. It was repaired at a local phone repair shop. Recently, I'm having a problem where I can not even the phone past the apple logo. I brought the same repair shop, but this time, they said it is more serious and maybe he isn't able to fix at all. I was wondering if I brought the phone to one of these premium dealers, would they be able to repair/Exchange my phone for free? Thank you

Sorry, but if a no Apple authorized repair service the iPhone, all service options provided by Apple, including out-of-warranty replacement, will have disappeared.

Only Apple or Apple authorized service providers must repair the phone.

  • IPhone out-of-warranty 6 damaged fluid replacement/trade-in

Hello. A store approved diagnostic Apple my iPhone 6 and due at the end of the warranty for phones damaged by liquid coverage, I was asked to "recover" my non-working phone as long as no third party store would open my unit. I was told that it costs 17 400 Php or 370,20. $, I'm not sure of the breakdown of prices, but it seems that half the current market value for the gold unit, 16 gb, even in color (went to the Mall today is $702,22). I checked the recycling program and re-use of Apple and I wonder if the "exchange value" who gave to me is this program OR is it something out of warranty replacement. Whatever it is, I want to know if I will get the same unit as new OR refurbished?

Out of warranty, replacements and the reuse of the Apple recycling program are two different things. Reuse and recycling program will give you just a gift card from Apple for trading in your old device. The amount given online is only an expected value, but they check it and give you a final value. With the water damage, the value will be much less.

The elimination of warranty replacements are given to nine units. They will not give you a new in a box. They will be in a brown box and have only the iPhone without any cables, headphones, etc. The price varies from one country to another for the replacement cost of the guarantee, but it is much cheaper than having to pay the total cost for a new brand.

  • My wife 6 iPhone would not take a charge.  The Apple store in Raleigh NC replaced with what they said, it was a NEW pohone.  I suspect that it was not new, but handed to nine. Can I know the serial number if it is new or refurbished?

< personal information under the direction of the host >

In general the replacements are not new.  They can be given to nine units, which are like new, maybe better.

Apple has no obligation to provide a new iPhone in replacement under warranty or out of warranty replacement.

  • Apple cannot replace the housing/casing of my iPhone?

I have a 6 s iPhone, and have a mobile phone plan that allows me to level to halfway through my 24-month plan, also for a long time my camera has extremely minimal Exteriors/Interiors damage. And currently I have scratches and bumps on the housing/casing of my phone and I was wondering if Apple can replace the casing/housing and how much it would cost?

Apple does not replace the metal casing of the phone. If the phone is damaged and does not, they will allow to make a release of purchase of the warranty, as damage to the housing would be damage user, not covered by the warranty. However, if the device is functioning correctly, Apple generally will not allow an out of warranty replacement for purely aesthetic problems.

  • iPhone 6 started flickering and unresponsive: how many replacement for a new

My iphone started to blink and does not, I have help allowed in my country and don't have a solution, I have no guarantee and they charged me R $1500 for a new, approximately $400. But I go to the United States next month and would like to know how much it costs to replace here. I googled hours on this subject, but I have not found the price.

Unless you bought the device in the United States, you will not be able to get a replacement here. A warranty replacement is performed only if guaranteed is done, the country of purchase. You will need to do the out of warranty Exchange in the country you bought the phone. One off replacement for the iPhone warranty 6 will be about $299. It is the American price, you must convert it to your location.
