  News Flash - Dreamweaver is not WYSIWYG, but none is so nothing else.   I just bought a new J6450 yesterday, and when I tried to install it as a wireless network my SSID does not appear (even if the PC just next to the printer is connected to my network).  Even when you enter the SSID manually the installation process does not recognize it. There are other SSID in the region that appear during the installation.  I confirmed that my router is broadcasting and the printer was 4 feet from the router, so I know that is not due to the intensity of the signal.

  The only thing I noticed during my research it tonight is the SSID that was listed when installing 2 are encrypted and most of the HP support info and documentation related to the wireless configuration seems to refer essentially to WEP.  If the HP J6450 really does support the WPA encryption, and if so, does anyone have ideas for troubleshooting why it does not recognize my router?
