  I have the same problem after update 9.3 OS on my Ipad 2... Crashing in IBooks. PDF and missing books. I have access to my books for about a minute before it crashed.

  I don't really know where to go then except put it there the 9.3.1 upgrade did not fix my problem.

  Thinking that I might have to consider for an Apple Tech which is an expense I really don't think I should have to bear, because I did not cause the problem that everything worked fine with my iBook before upgrading the OS 9.3.

  Note the updates recently installed on the computer.

  1. Click Start and select Control Panel.

  2. click on Windows Update, and then click view update history.

  Take note of the KB articles.

  To troubleshoot further, we need to get the error message; You can get the following error message:

  1. open Event Viewer by clicking Start, clicking Control Panel, clicking system and security, click Administrative Tools, and then double-click Event Viewer. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
  2. click on a journal of the events in the left pane.
  3. double-click on an event to view the details of the event.

  Now, make a note of the full error code or an error message.

  I am running:

  -OSX 10.11.6

  -Safari version 10.0 (11602.1.50.0.10)

  Yesterday, that I just installed Safari was last updated.

  Since that I've found that Safari keeps crashing.

  Has anyone else seen or got an advice on what the problem is?

  Safari/Preferences/Advanced - activate the menu to develop it, then go ahead and empty Caches. Quit/relaunch Safari and test. Then try Safari/history/Show History and remove all items from the history.  Quit/relaunch Safari and test. You can also try try Safari/Clear History... The downside is that it deletes all cookies. It could upset some sites no longer recognizes your computer as one that has visited the web site. Go to Finder and select your user folder. With this Finder window as the windshield, select Finder/display/display options for presenting or order - J.  When the display options opens, check "show the library folder. This should make your visible user library folder in your user folder.  Select Library./Caches/com.apple.Safari/Cache.db, and then move it to the trash.

  Go to Safari preferences/Extensions and disable all extensions. Test. If correct, enable the extensions one by one until find you which extension is causing the problem.

  I upgraded 9.2.1 this morning.

  Everything seemed fine until I started Safari.

  When I launch Safari and tap the search/URL bar, safari blocks. I have deleted all history and Web site data, restarted my iPhone, but that did not help.

  Try resetting your device. This will not erase your data stored on that device.

  • Press and hold the sleep/wake button
  • Press and hold the Home button
  • Press and hold both buttons until the display turns off and on again with the Apple logo on the subject.

  Alternatively, you can go to settings - general - reset - Reset all settings

  If that doesn't work, restore your device to factory settings. Please note that this will delete the data on your device.

  I've just updated Safari via the App Store on El Capitan. Now, he opens for about 10 seconds and blocking everything as it starts to load the pages.

  Thank you for updating your iPhone on iOS 10! I understand the importance having a device that works is made for you. Kudos to restore the device to solve the problem. If after restoring your backup files freeze returned, the problem may be with the files itself. You can try to restore the device once more using iTunes on your computer, set up as a new device, and then test the functionality of the iPhone IOS 10. If it works as expected, try to reinstall the applications from the App Store instead of restore from the backup, then if use you iCloud you can log in and add your Contacts, calendar, etc. back to the iPhone.

  My contacts sometimes freeze (when I search a contact) and I have to force to leave contacts/phone to re - use the contacts/phone app. This has happened only once 10 update iOS.   Here's what you need to do.

  • Connect your iPhone to your computer and back up all the content on your iPhone.
  • Restoring iPhone. (You will find the button restore in iTunes homepage once you connect iPhone in)
  • Follow the steps on your computer screen.
  • Once the iPhone was restored, sign in using your credentials to iCloud and click on restore from a backup.

• PC crashes after installation of the auto updates

  Whenever I have download the new updates for my windows XP, I have problems with my pc freezing. First of all, I hear a ping then my cursor starts stuttering & my program freezes. It's driving me crazy! I have not downloaded anything other than these stupid 'critical updates' & a game or two of wild tangent. I ran my virus, to date scanner, I received no errors blue screen, or any error mess. of any kind.

  (3) is there a particular point or program that you are trying to access and the computer crashes?

  I suggest you to have access to the program in safe mode and see if it freezes.
