  I've recently been reconfiguration of EQL (1 PS6100, 1 PS4000) customers.  As part of the cleaning and modernization of the former ESXi environment, virtual machines were vMotioned storage of 4000 to 6100 and the4000 reset, reconfigured and added to the 'new' group began with the PS6100.

  The PS6100 is RAID10 and in its own pool of storage, the PS4000 RAID6 and in its own pool of storage.  The PS6100 has a single TB 5.5 thin provisioned volume (total available is 5.75 to), the reconfigured PS4000 has a single 4TB thin volume (total available East of 5.66 to).

  About halfway through to storage quick vMotioning of PS4000 to PS6100 VMS, SANHQ began reports 4.2 warnings of space on the volume of same PS61000 if running in Workgroup Manager of space in use for the volume and the pool was only about 2 TB with him remains marked free.  Once the PS4000 has been revamped and its created volume and about 1.1 to migrate back, this volume has begun to take a 4.2 errors as well.

  SanHQ reports 4.2 errors, the two volumes now that more than 99% complete, even if the Group Manager shows as much less complete volumes - the PS6100 is about 70% full, the PS4000 only 30% full (volume, pool is only 20% full).

  My understanding of thin volumes with VMware is that they grow only represented by how much space has been consumed by the upstream file system (for example, VMware VMFS) and "shrink" only if manually unmap you them (VMware) or run another operating system that automatically cancel the mapping.

  That being the case, none of my thin LUN EQL never showed more than 70 percent use of space (maximum) and some never more than 25% maximum, than even San HQ throws 4.2 errors.   Why?

  It is a known issue with SANHQ v3.1.   The next version should exit this month this will resolve this error.  There are several other threads here discuss this issue.  For now, turn off the alerts is best work around.

  ISE Version: 1.2.0.899 (running in VMware)

  I have a created WLAN using the dot1x authentication. The WLAN points at ISE for RADIUS AAA. I can't get any windows computer connect (7, 8 or 8.1 tested), but android, ios, and osx are all able to connect. I have a 3rd cert of party (GoDaddy) installed in my local store at ISE, which is valid and not expired. I do not understand why windows machines fail.

  I'm migrating to this new ISE server and my old ISE server has the same configuration (AFAIK) for this WLAN key and it works for all devices, including windows. The difference is that it is on a different domain (the reason for migration is we've changed areas).

  Here the ISE error:

  Event: 5400 authentication failed

  Reason for the failure: 12511 suddenly received alert TLS; treat it as a rejection by the customer

  Resolution: Ensure that the ISE server certificate is approved by the customer, by configuring the supplicant with the CA that signed the certificate of ISE server. It is strongly recommended that you not turn off the server on the client certificate validation!

  Root cause: while trying to negotiate a TLS negotiation with the customer, ISE has received an unexpected alert message of TLS. This could be due to begging her not to trust the certificate of the ISE server for some reason any. ISE has processed the unexpected message as a sign that the client has rejected the creation of tunnel.

  On the ISE server that works, you are presented with a window asking you to connect or terminate based on the certificate is not validated. I don't know why that is not happening with this new ISE server, it fails just without inviting the user to connect or terminate. Two certificates are of GoDaddy.

  A difference between the certificates, is the former has a cert that was generated through ISE and the new server has a generic cert imported.

  In any case, I hope this is enough information to understand the issue. I appreciate the time everyone takes to help me with this problem. I install a copy of the WLAN so that I can test the need and not have to wait for a maintenance window.

  So I had to upgrade to 3.0 SANHQ, and now, one of my paintings give me these 15 'mistakes ':

  I have havnt seen this error in one of the older versions of SANHQ before.

  I spoke in support, and the engineer said, that there was a replacement of these drives due to errors. But they only took contact with customers who have had on a number of disks fail on them (we only replaced one in 5 years).

  I just wanted to check here, if anyone else has encountered this error. IM planning on the upgrade of firmware 7.0 Friday and I don't want to have problems with a defective table because of this error.

  It fixed itself, once I had firmware 7.0 on my paintings.

  Seems to be a problem with the specific drives, 6.0.1 and sanhq 3.0

• Error Windows 7 IPsec IKEv2 VPN EAP - TLS

  I Strongswan Server Setup Ubuntu 14.04 since the official package with IKEv2 and eap - tls = rightauth repo using our public KEY infrastructure. I can connect correctly to Android and Linux but not Windows. I have installed my personal certificate in the certificate store, but when trying to connect it throws this error in the image. I have also attached my certificate (without the private key of course) personal - certificate rsa public only

• EAP - TLS in ACS 5.2 error

  I have configured the RADIUS to dot1x a 5.2 ACS. When I tried to connect a user to an active switch of dot1x port, I get the following error in the RADIUS.

  Troubleshooting steps Check the appropriate service in the Access Service and its identity source in Access Services > Sysaccess > identity >. This error occurs when the identity source is configured for password based authentication received a certificate of authentication based request.

  The switchport configuration is:

  no response from the authentication event action allow vlan 810

  Auto control of the port of authentication

  dot1x EAP authenticator

  have you checked the attribute you want to ACS to check in the package from the client comes.

  More importantly, select the certificate profile as store of identity under the identity of policy - name of the service of access - Access - select.

• SANHQ 3.0 EPA + retransmission errors

  One of the nice new features of SANHQ is announced as this allows me to see what ISCSI connections I retransmissions.

  That function is not in 3.0 EPA. or at least something that I am not consistent on it requires.

  My envoriment is running 6.0.7

  If I look in the iscsi connections, I see the following columns:

  Target, Initatior host name, IP address of the host, Port, connection time, full read, write Total, I/O rates, target Type,.

  The manual for 3.0 clearly shows an image (figure 29) another field called percentage retransmit.

  This field is missing in my install :(

  What should I do for this.

  The new figures of retransmission appears only if your running with firmware 7.0 EPA EPA 3.0, it does not collect such statistics in version 6.0.7

• Try to install PCI-GPIB on a Windows 7 System - x 64, variety of errors and problems

  I am trying to install a PCI-GPIB in my system Windows 7 after installing the version of NOR-488. 2 2.7.3.49152, I asked problems and the card itself interfacera not with any software. I tried to reinstall the driver several times without success.

  Here's the background. Running Windows Server 2003 (in a data center). 8 GB of RAM, 8 cores (2 x 4) running at 2.4 GHz. 300 GB OF HARD DISK.

  I use about 70 services on this subject. Each of them make at least 1 outgoing connection, but they can make as much as they want. There is also a mysql server, apache (in php) server, and they also make a number of outbound connections.

  in any case, it was all work fine without problems. Server might get restarted once every 2 months, if that.

  Then, suddenly, bam, I get these errors:
  An operation on a socket could not be performed because the system lacked space memory buffer or because a queue was full.

  I put the maxuserport and month 5 or more without issue.

  Then, once more, out of the blue, same question. The wait time-out value 30.

  However, I still have a problem. I have to restart the server once a day to keep services running.

  So, I downloaded tcpview and looked at the total number of connections... It shows at the bottom right: application / connect as x 35 / 38 x at some point...

  If I'm reading the right of the tool, I have only 380 ports in use... but the specified port range is well over 5000 by default (even longer with the key "reg").

  I also checked the boot.ini file and there is no/3 gb switch. I added in a switch/EAP so nothing works.

  I'm out of ideas and hoping someone smarter then me has a.

  Something else running on the server may be destructive of the pool not paginated, it would be accompanied by event ID 2019 recorded errors.  You can monitor the use of pool unpaginated with Perfmon, if you find that the not paged is currently sold out you can use tools like Poolmon and Memsnap to try to find the culprit.

  OK, where to start, bought a wireless adapter, tried to install it but told me to turn on ' ' windows wireless... attempt to start auto Setup WLan, but got error 1068: The Dependency service or group failed start... so I check the properties, check the dependencies and 2 are not some are "on the road" (CNG Key Isolation & Extensible Auth. (Protocol)... has tried to start but got the same error 1068 for the EAP protocol and had error 3: the system cannot find path specified, for CNG... AHHHH... so I run a hijackthis to see whats up, a lot of 'missing file' and 'No file'... so I access the System32 folder and search for each other... EVERYTHING is there...

  so the question is... Why can't I start the autoconfiguration WLAN service? Why can't start EAP? Why cant KeyIso 'judged '?

  It's become a headache just HUGE to make a pc "wireless".

  Hi guys, I got a big problem here in my room. My equallogic iscsi interfaces have a lot of erros. What can be?

  

  First of all, make sure you run the latest version of FW and SANHQ table.

  Packet errors are often the cause of bad cable, bad switch ports and a misconfiguration on switch iSCSI ports.   The only way to erase the mistakes of packages on Equallogic arrays must restart the table.

  • Replacement cable between the controller port and switch port with known good cable.

  • 10 GB cables must be SFF-8472 compliant to work with 10 GB Equallogic arrays.

  • Confirm that the switch is a minimum firmware to work with Berry Equallogic en.community.dell.com/.../2661.equallogic-compatibility-matrix

  (Note: if unable to switch, you can disable protocols spanning tree on ports connect to the table).

  • Use the tech TR1017 report to verify the configuration of the switch and confirm it meets best practices.

  • Run a show of support on the switches to review port errors.   If a Powerconnect or Force10 switch then engage networks dell help examine the switch logs. If another provider, and then engage the seller to switch to help examine the switch logs.

  • Cards network host to firmware update and the latest network card driver

• Cannot install/upgrade to SAN HQ v2.5 - unexpected error.

  

  I get this error after I tried the upgrade and do a fresh install of SAN HQ v2.5 on my server HQ SAN; but have no problem installing SAN HQ v2.2 installation seems to work very well, and when I try to open the SAN HQ client I get the above error.

  I just built a new server and installed the new v2.5 HQ SAN server, and as soon as it finished installing, I get the same error.

  Server 2008 R2 running.

  Any help will be greatly appreciated.

  Crowlaw, you can check if your systems are configured for FIPS compliance?  To check this, the simplest method is to look at this registry key:

  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa\FipsAlgorithmPolicy\Enabled

  If this entry is set to 1, then I would recommend that you try to temporarily set it to 0 to see if this allows you to start the Client SANHQ.

• Unable to connect to networks wireless on laptop Windows 7 Enterprise. Cannot start the autoconfiguration WLAN service. "Error 1068: the dependency service or group could start."

  I am not able to connect to my wireless network. When tried to connect, it shows just "unable to connect."

  I have the Intel WiFiLink 5100 adapter with the latest driver for Windows 7 Enterprise 32-bit installed. The laptop is not a wireless connection manager and I am trying to connect using the Windows wireless connection manager.

  I checked in the Services and found that service autoconfiguration WLAN and Extensible Authentication Protocol services are not running.

  When I tried to start the WLAN auto configuration service, I get the following error...
       Windows could not start the service WLAN autoconfiguration on Local computer.
       Error 1068: The dependency service or group could start.

  When I tried to start the service of Extensible Authentication Protocol, I get this error...
       Windows could not start the service on Local computer Extensible Authentication Protocol.
       Error 1053: The service did not demand launch or timely control.

  I found that all dependent services for the EAP are running. And all dependent services for autoconfiguration WLAN service are running except the EAP service.

  I searched the internet for the solution madly before posting here. Any help is greatly appreciated!

  We plan on implementing eap - tls for our iPads company and in the past, I've successfully tested it authentication with the ACS5.3, but now that we moved to ISE (1.1.1.24) I get an error.

  Result of the strategy of the 22045 identity is configured for password based authentication methods but received certificate authentication request

  I tried two different profiles, one with a certificates and credentials of the AD and the other with just the certificates but the error message are the same for both.

  EAP - TLS is enabled in the result of the 'Access to the network by default' authentication.

  Anyone can shed some light on where I'm wrong?

  Yes that's right, the certificate that is presented to the ISE does not include the identity of the client, this is the reason why the attempt fails.
