  HI, initially, I had a drive C (windows) and a D drive (DATA). The D drive was almost full so I added another larger disk. I have (GIVEN) a month ago. I've mirrored drive D i drive and set my Documents to point to the new, I drive. First Elements 9 open to all projects smoothly in the search of files on the drive. Then yesterday, I formatted the D drive and renamed it (Scratch) S that I was going to use it as a dedicated scratch disk. Premiere Elements then ask for each file. So I reformatted S and renamed back to D (DATA) and copied the music, video, photos and files the i drive Adobe. This partially solved the problem that the projects can now find video files but request music files or use JPGs.   I had this problem since I bought the laptop a few years ago, after asking many friends and not able to understand the question I write it here.

  On my C drive, they say currently I have 20 GB of available, but when I calculate the size of all the folders in the C drive, I found that I have 40 GB of free. Also free space in C drive change frequently, sometimes I said have15 GB free and when I restart, it said 20 GB free. I have had this problem since I bought my laptop a few years ago. I've been anti virus research, but nothing comes out. I defragmented my laptop as well. Please help me if you know why it's happening.

  I get the error message "Please insert a disc in the drive I" when I try to attach a drive external hard (in a case of hard disk) via a USB 2.0 to my Dell Dimension 8400 computer. I am running Windows XP Prorfessional.

  When I attach an external hard drive that comes with its own enclosure as a Western Digital MyBook via the same cable USB 2.0 the following happens. Windows Explorer shows the new disks I and J. If I try to open the drive I have, I get the "Please insert a disc into drive I"message.» However, when I try to open the drive J I'm able to do it and see the files, in this case, the Western Digital MyBook. I can also open these files.

  I searched the Internet for solutions to this problem. In some cases, the problem can be solved by renaming the drive letter, but this does not work in my case. Most of the sites I visited fail to provide a solution. Very many missions I've read on various sites, the problem seems to be related to error messages has Microsoft Windows.
