  For these last days, my computer does not recognize the CD/DVD drive.  I have tried everything - publishers of registry, check the physical connections inside the computer, the system restore and install Fix - It programs.  However, the computer does not recognize this drive.  I also wonder if it is a hardware problem.  The light on the drive is a constant in green, and does not have the Open button.  And when I use the bent-paper-clip-in-the-little-hole and can open the drive, it will not read the disc.  Please advise...

  The D800 has been supported since Lightroom 4.1.

  You use an earlier version of the Nikon software to transfer files from camera to computer? Older versions are known to make Raw files unreadable by Adobe software.

  Try to download a version update of Nikon. Or use a different card for example reader method.

  Need of this camera camera raw 8.2 or later. Cannot use this CS5 version. You will need to download the 9.1 free dng converter and convert your images to DNG version CS5 can handle.

The problem started after I installed a vinal record of pc system, but he has always recognized that the disc was in rip drawer, if I put the disc in the drawer and WMP has closed and reopened. then it started to not recognize that a disk was in the drawer, even if I closed and reopened WMP with the disc in the drawer.   Remove the filter upper and lower filter and see if it helps.

  r: clickStartand then click run

  b:   In theOpen box, type regedit, and then click OK

  c:   In the navigation pane, find and then click the following registry subkey:

  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\ {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}

  d: in the right pane, clickUpperFilters.

  Note You can also see an UpperFilters.bak registry entry. You don't have to delete this entry. ClickUpperFilters . If you do not see the UpperFilters registry entry, you may still have to delete the LowerFilters registry entry. To do this, go to step g.

  e: in theEdit menu, click delete.

  f: when you are prompted to confirm the removal, clickYes

  g:    In the right pane, clickLowerFilters.
