  He plays very well FLAC.  There is probably a problem with your files.  They are not coded correctly, or you use the ID3 tags.  The Clip only supports normal Vobis comment tags to FLAC / Ogg.  Mp3Tag should be able to fix your labels if that's the problem.

  In addition, there is no reason to convert MP3 to FLAC.  It will sound the same as the MP3, but you will have much larger files.  If you want to get the advantage of FLAC (or any lossless format) you will need to rerip your CDs.

  You can activate it without a SIM card. If it is locked, it takes a SIM card by the carrier, for it is locked. The SIM card should not be linked to an active line of service, but it must be present to activate it.

  It's the way they are supposed to work. When the charge level of the battery increases, the load in the drive circuit slows down the amount of fees being accepted since the source until it is just a trickle. In this way it does not generate too much heat build up that is detrimental to both the player and the battery itself.

  And Yes, if you connect in MTP mode you can see the level of charge on your computer. But it will not refresh unless you disconnect and reconnect. Besides, you can see as well information on the player screen if you need to see a real battery level percentage. But it still takes say connection of your computer to see this.

  I think that if you use a charger AC - UCB this info is at your disposal, even while charging. I don't know if it updates in real-time, however.

  Have you tried holding down the power button (some say 30 seconds, but I don't think he'd be as long) and then releasing and clicking it normally? This is what worked for me both times as my Clip + died spontaneously.

  Can you connect USB MSC mode?  (On the Clip, under settings (press the small button at home and then click down), go to USB mode and select MSC.)

  When I got my clip audio books, I downloaded displayed on several tracks in the breast of every file that was great to navigate around from chapter to chapter.   On an audio book, press the arrow down bringing Audiobook options

  Select Mode chapter on

  Press the Menu key to regularize

  If you format or other changes do major you must reset the mode of feeding for 1 to 5 minutes AND the chapter Mode.

  When I try to change the information in the title of a song or an album on the Clip + when you are connected to the PC it shows up correctly as long as it is still connected to the PC. When unplugged and read on the Clip + it appears simply as a bunch of numbers and letters. If I make the change on my PC first and then remove Clip + enter and drag and drop PC all edited version is fine. Any ideas?

  Thank you very much for your detailed explanation. Sorry it took me awhile to recognize your answer, gone for a few days. I always put my Clip + auto detect as you thought. I never really knew what that assumed this auto and pertained to detect would do the right thing. I note that mt newest Clip of Sport doesn't have a setting mode but I can edit entries in internal and external, without the same issues I described in my Clip +. Really, I use WMP with my Sansa stuff, but the version that I run for reading is WMP 12. So if I understand correctly I need to set the mode of meteorological service of the Canada? Right now my Clip + is empty, then I'll experiences.
