• Exclamation points in Device Manager

  I just installed XP on a Dell laptop. I downloaded what I thought were all the Dell drivers specific, but there are three elements in the Manager for devices with an exclamation point. They are all described as Base system device. The Properties tab described all three as PCI\VEN and then a string of letters and numbers, but no description in device for what type of Device Manager, they are.  The general tab displays the PCI Bus 2, device 9 function (and then 3 different numbers. Someone at - it an idea how can I know what they are so I can get the driver required? I tried the option install autopilot, but he does not find the drivers.

  Problem solved. Go to DEll site and found some Ricoh Flash drivers chipset of media that seem to have solved the problem!

  • Select the check box delete the driver for this device.
  • Restart the computer after the uninstall is complete.

  • Now, click on programs and select programs and features.
  • Find the device driver.
  • Right-click device driver and select Uninstall.
  • Restart the computer after the uninstall is complete.

  Step 3:

  Download and install the latest drivers for the device on the manufacturer's Web site

  The led does not, not F8 in flash cards, no adapter wifi in Device Manager.
  The problem appeared after being reinstalled system.

  I tried everything (also this thread) and even to try to install the new wifi adapter - same situation takes place.
  When I search on the internet for solutions it apeared that many people had same problem after reinstaled the system.

  If not then I guess that you have installed the wrong driver WLan

  I looked at the BIOS settings by the F2 key at startup, and the only thing I could see I could try was to restore the default settings, so I did.   I assume that you have installed the Win7 clean version, right?
  After the installation of clean operating system, you should be able to see all of the office without a few black lines. According to my Win7 experience has no problem with graphics cards and especially the native resolution is set by default.
  What you need to do is to install the right chipset driver, driver SATA and, of course, display driver available on the Toshiba download page.

  I put t know which model you have exactly. I have 1900-703 and I am very satisfied with the graphics card. If you believe me this oldie works much better that some newer units (already tested with different games).

  I'm not 100% sure but I think that this update of the graphics card is usually not possible. If you want to put a little more RAM inside and enjoy a pleasure with it.
