  I have a Satellite A100-062, that is around the age of 10 months. The other day while I was using the laptop touchpad no longer meets nothing that do about it, including the mouse buttons. I did a system restore and then used the toshiba recovery disc but nothing solved the problem. Then I stopped using it for a few days I was getting ready to return to the shop, but beforehand, I thought I would try something. Before I had tried something I booted up it to make sure that the mouse was still not working. However, it was and I did not anything else to fix.

  I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if you have how many times it happened, and whether or not it is repairable.

  If the touch pad does not respond after clean installation of the operating system (DVD release) there must be a hardware problem. I recommend you contact the service provider authorized in your country. After 10 months the warranty should still be valid.   My son has a 487 A100, running on Windows XP. I recently bought him a game and it loads fine. The game played for about 15 minutes and close that back to my desktop screen and gives an option to send an error report.

  I am the only user on this laptop A100-049, using Windows Vista.

When I choose for the boot device cd-rom drive, loading RAMDisk image, it comes up with an instant message and then he disappears, but I noted to see F6 and so I rebooted the DVD again and I spammed F6. And this is what happens:

Or does install the drivers to display with the recovery cd or I see nothing and I will stuff my pc up to? Lol usually whenever I have try sumfin to help my pc I usually have the wreck it. So I've always guaranteed, so I might even go back to there. But I would appreciate if you guys can help.

  If you want to install the operating system, you can do on two tracks:
  -Sent using recovery DVD set in ODD and turn off. Turn it back on and immediately press the C button. keep it down for a short period and the ODD is obliged first to start device. When the facility starts just follow the on-screen menu.
