  Bought A200 and formatted the hard drive and installed XP Pro that I am not yet ready for Vista.
  Installed ok and downloaded the drivers and be able to install the driver for wireless network.

  The Readme.txt says to run the .exe file unzip the files, and then run the IMDGInst.exe

  He runs and displays the window mentioned above and does practically nothing.

  Looks like this isn't the correct file bit, that I have nothing else to go other than the model number and part mentioned in the subject line.

  I have download all the drivers from toshiba (for XP) Download Center and I also try to download Intel drivers... NOTHING...

  First of all, for all IDE HDD is NOT supported, because the laptop supports the SATA HDD controller. Therefore, use of SATA 2.5 hard disks.

  Given that the SATA controller is not limited to any size, you should be able to use any HARD drive 2.5 SATA.

  This old piece of hardware is not supported for Win8, so you will not be able to find the right driver for it.
  What you can try is to install the driver for the new model of laptop.

  But to be honest you n t need this SD slot, if your laptop works with Win8 in general.
  Who cares about SD slot? ;)

  You can access the BIOS F2 press immediately while laptop power on.
  Then, you would be able to check the version of the BIOS.
  In the BIOS, I recommend to set to default settings. Simply press on F9 and save any changes when you exit the BIOS.

  I noticed it says to install two updates - we did it, we failed.
  The update that failed is titled "Intel WLAN Driver for Windows 10".  I tried to install this update several times now without success.

  Looking at the page HP drivers for your PC Win10, I don't see this softpaq for all Intel WLAN driver.  Instead, I see the sp72159 softpaq.

• Unable to connect my Satellite A200 - 1 MB to new router WLAN

  I recently bought the LinkSys Router (model No.: WRT120N) and configured it. But it does not connect to my TOSHIBA laptop (model No.: Satellite A200 - 1 MB) with this new router.
  This is a wireless connection. I don't think its something to do with the router because other laptops can access the signal and they can connect to this router.

  Can someone please help me to solve this?

  So, if you use the same version of the driver as published on the page of the driver then it s already the latest version of driver and you don't need t update.

  As far as I know, it should be the right one because of my knowledge the Atheros Wlan card has been installed in this unit.
