  This update seems to be linked to the Intel WLan driver.
  I think it s not necessary to update the Intel WLan driver through update of Windows Vista.
  If you want to update the WLan driver then visit the page of the Toshiba Wlan driver or the Intel page.

  With regard to the second question.
  You can visit the European driver Toshiba page and there you can check what newer drivers have been released.

  I hope this isn't a disaster in the making.  Recently, I've had this laptop and have tried to keep everything up-to-date.
  I noticed it says to install two updates - we did it, we failed.
  The update that failed is titled "Intel WLAN Driver for Windows 10".  I tried to install this update several times now without success.

  Looking at the page HP drivers for your PC Win10, I don't see this softpaq for all Intel WLAN driver.  Instead, I see the sp72159 softpaq.

• HP ENVY 15-j101ex and the problem of compatibility with the Intel graphics driver update

  I got my brand new HP ENVY 15-j101ex for almost a month now and it works very well. I tried to play any of my games on it and after 20 minutes the laptop crashed. After searching the cause, it turns out that my Nividia Geforce and Intel Graphics driver have been exceeded. I updated the driver from Nividia and everything went well. However, whenever I have download the new driver for the Intel graphics card it is not updated and simply say that my computer does not meet the minimum requirements. I checked the name of the driver and I even used the center of the action on my computer that I warned that I needed to update my driver and he even gave me a link to download from, but the same error occurred.

  Now, I can't play ang game without my computer crashing down. Everyone has faced this problem and does anyone have a solution?

  If you want to install the drivers and got downloads provided by HP, and then use the HP Support Assistant.

  Your wireless card is not supported under Vista and will not be supported in W7.

  May I suggest that you upgrade to Intel 2200BG, since the 'b' - only cards are becoming a little long in the tooth, anyway...

  I have a Satellite C660-26z. I try to use Trimble/google sketchup (3d modeling program) but keep an error message "Bug splat."

  Google suggested that I up date my permit, when I try to update from Intel, I get an error message telling me it was modified by the Assembly of the computer and communicate with them.

  My driver is Intel(r) HD Graphics Version = 8.15.10.2189
  The program works fine on my other computer 5.

  We know that you can not use drivers provided by graphics card manufacturers. Not for laptops. Display drivers are changed by laptop manufacturers to provide the balance between performance and protection of the equipment.

  What you can try is to check if Toshiba offers a newer driver for new models of portable computers.

  Bought A200 and formatted the hard drive and installed XP Pro that I am not yet ready for Vista.
  Installed ok and downloaded the drivers and be able to install the driver for wireless network.

  The Readme.txt says to run the .exe file unzip the files, and then run the IMDGInst.exe

  He runs and displays the window mentioned above and does practically nothing.

  Looks like this isn't the correct file bit, that I have nothing else to go other than the model number and part mentioned in the subject line.

While I was told that a newer version is available on the ATI site, download the driver from Toshiba installation package tells me I have the latest version.

  Page directly ATI display drivers doesn t work on laptops because they use mobile graphics cards, that they are not supported for display driver.

  I put t know what OS you have, but for Windows 7, version 8.653 is already the latest version.

  I checked and the update on the Toshiba site is the previous update... it has the * version 8.634.1 * and AMD is at version * _8.801_* with their AMD Catalyst 10.12 software suite.

  If possible could someone direct me, so that I can get the driver for Windows and Ubuntu?
