  I recently bought a Satellite A200-1AE. I tried to configure the default first button on my touch pad (lower left) so that I can fire up MSWord, but it did not work.

  Now every time I have set the mode button and press this button, that nothing not to pass - I lost practically this button.

  My question is how can I configure the mode button on the touch pad settings? Even if I was able to start a program by using the 3 buttons how can I modify these programs?

  It s is not so difficult as you think, the properties of the synaptics are in the "mouse properties" of your "Control Panel" of windows. When you reach the 'mouse', then click on the "Advanced" tab and you should find a button 'Advanced functionality settings'.
  It could be that the button is not named as mine, but it must be identical.

  I tried now pressed the 'Zéro' key at startup, also tried one at a time, hold down F2 and F8, F10, F12, but none of them put me in the Recovery Wizard.

  No way dude you can't connect the laptop to HD TV if the laptop doesn't supports HDMI port.

  Some series of laptops Toshiba as P200, X 200, G40, etc. are supported the port HDMI but not an A200

  The TV and the laptop is connected with a jackstick and a vga cable to rent movies, etc and see these on TV

  Now I would like to have a usable for the 16:9 format resolution as well as a small part of the image is not dissappearing in the left side of the screen

  That's why I first tried updating using Intel online tool if it finds the most recent driver and put it to date, but soon enough I said an error occurred and on Intel page I linked to an update of Java, which I can not connect to one.

  I restarted my laptop but I haven't haven't had an option to the 16:9 format

  My wish is to choose and option in the 16:9 format and such a resolution would be a Full HD resolution, it would be perfect as my TV is Full HD?

  Can I do something like download drivers options to download or is Toshibas etc - this maybe the Intel Mobile Chipset that cannot be improved at ex: 1920 x 1080?

  You can install the Intel graphics driver from the Intel page, but this does not mean that you will get your favorite resolution.

  The available display resolution depends on the graphics chip and graphics driver.
  So if the graphics driver or graphics chip would not support this resolution, then you will not be able to choose it.

  I have a laptop with the Intel graphics chip and I have connected my external monitor to the laptop and was able to choose the resolution of 1920 x 1200.
  But this s format not 16:9.

  You can choose this Panel-> graphics and Intel multimedia Accelerator
  Here you can choose the external (display) monitor and can choose the preferred resolution. But there is no special option for 16:9 format.

• Satellite A200 - password disk HARD 'frozen' in the BIOS

  Satellite A200 computer laptop does not recognize the HARD drive.
  Reconstruction of the disk with Vista or XP - Pro (on another machine) have proved to be unsuccessful.

  Originally, continually blue machine armored and quicky restarted, Machine was infected by the virus and Trojans that I believe have damaged BIOS. The BIOS now appears to have 'frozen' a HARD drive password (unknown) which transfers any HARD drive new - perpetuating the problem.

  Any ideas or suggestions are welcome, thanks.

  Usually, you should be able to remove the HARD drive password in the BIOS.
  You have to put the old HARD drive password must use ENTER to put an empty string as a new HARD drive password and you will need to confirm this
