He recorded on the computer (sometimes with deletion safetly icon) but when I go to open it it asks me to format the card.
I have an old laptop and it works fine on it, but not on the new. Someone at - it advice? I think I might have to take it back to the shop where I got it but I want try to fix before doing this.

Thank you

Hello

First, please check if your card reader supports used cards.
The user manual provides details on supported cards and supported.

But if you already use the compatible card, then you should try this;
Access to the Device Manager and delete (reset) the system card reader.
Restart the computer, and then reinstall the device.

After this short intervention, you should test the location of card with the compatible card reader.

Good luck

You have another SD card to do the test? If no card does work, then this is a problem of gateway. If it is out of warranty, you can get a SD card reader that plugs into a USB port for a few dollars. eBay has them cheap or just Google.

    Hello

Since you mentioned that there are no drivers available for this particular to the HP Web site model, you need to contact HP support for any update on that.

  • [Folio 13-1020us] SD card reader stopped working suddenly

For about a year, I had an SDXC card in the card reader integrated my Folio 13-1020us.

It was fine until a few days ago. Then something that I was downloading it has not completed, which is how I noticed that he had ceased to work. Now, it does not appear in the drives in my computer, and it does not appear in Device Manager.

In an older HP laptop, I can at least see the letter of the card reader and the name that I gave him, so I think that the card itself should be fine. But I don't see anything when I place it in the Folio.

I have a feeling that the drive itself has failed. I'm out of warranty by a few months. What I have to extend my warranty and send it to get it fixed? I don't want to use an external drive, because I use the card as extra storage space.

    Operating system: Windows 7

SD card: Mark PNY, 64GB SDXC

If the card works on other PCs, the card is OK.

It is regrettable that there is no diagnosis for the card reader PC Diagnostics UEFI test. You can. However, to run the test component from the system board.

The next step in troubleshooting to make sure that the issue is not with the operating system, perform a recovery or a refreshment. Both of these measures involve delete all your data, so It is recommended that you copy all the important data to an external storage device before a refresh or a HP Factory image recovery.

To the factory image recovery, you will need to call the HP Recovery Manager. Access Recovery Manager HP when you are connected to Windows or by using usb recovery media you should already have created now. Invoke the charm of the search and the type of recovery.

If niether of these procedures did not have a positive effect, then the problem is probably likely to be a problem of Board of Directors system and internal. The only way to solve that resides at the center of Service HP.

  • Satellite A300 - card reader does support SDXC cards?

How can I find out if my SD card reader supports SDXC cards.
My laptop is a satellite A300 and the properties of the so-called card reader 'SDA Standard compatible SD Host controller'.

I am able lto using SDXC cards with this device and if not I am able to upgrade the software to support SDXC cards?

    Thanks for your help

    Hello

I read in the forum on Satellite A300 card reader and I found the info very useful.
The card reader supports the types of cards:

    -SD Card - 8MB - 2GB
    -SDHC - 4 GB card
    -photo - 16 MB - 2 GB xD card
    -Memory Stick - 8MB - 256MB
    -Memory Stick Pro - 256 MB - 2 GB
    -MultiMediaCard - 8 MB - 1 GB
-miniSD (with SD adapter) - 32 MB - 2 GB

As you can see that the SDXC cards are not taken in charge... in this case I recommend using a common external USB card that would support the SDXC cards

  • Toshiba Flash Cards has stopped working...!

    HI :)

    My problem is:
When I start my laptop an error message pops up saying: "Toshiba Flash Cards has stopped working".

What is Toshiba Flash Cards? and what I will do with this error?

Also, is the utility of flash refers to the Fn key card in the keyboard? If it is, so the problem above will not let me use the usefulness of this key "Fn".

    Thank you: x

    Hello

Software Toshiba Flash Cards belongs to Toshiba value added package (VAP) and it controls the functionality of the FN button too.

If this service has stopped working so I recommend if you allow it.
For this you must have access to the services of Vista:
    -Go to the Start Menu
-In the white line (search) type services and press ENTER.
-Click on continue in the UAC prompt, (if it is necessary to provide the password for administrator approval)
-Search for Flash or PPV cards or similar
-Right click on the service if you want to disable or enable, and click Properties. You will find an option to enable or disable this service

    Also on this page:
    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/59910-services.html

But if this will not help you then need to reinstall the VAP.

  • Satellite L850 - webcam suddenly stopped working

The web cam on my Satellite L850 has suddenly stopped working.

    It does not appear in Device Manager;
    I downloaded the latest driver on the Toshiba site;
    I checked the BIOS and the web cam is turned on;
Always when I open the web cam application I get the following message:

"webcam initialization failed Please restart request and camera control.

I scoured the advice forum and short of a return to the top and reboot disk HARD, I find no reasonable answer. I can't back up as I am away from home is out of the question. I need web conference call cam / call my family to the United Kingdom back.

Tired of going round in circles and getting nowhere.

    Any suggestions?

Even if you have not changed the settings in the BIOS, you must Access the BIOS to make sure that the webcam is turned on it!

I also recommend the suite of this workaround:
    Uninstall the webcam software
    Uninstall the VAP
Uninstall all software needed the webcam (Skype, etc...)
Now, restart and install CCLeaner (cleaning of freeware software)
    Reboot once more.
Run CCleaner and clean the system and the registry.
    Reset
Now follow with installation of VAP
    Reset
    Install the webcam software
    Reset
    Test webcam.

    Good luck

  • CD/DVD-Rom on a Satellite 1110 laptop has stopped working

    Hello

The CD/DVD-Rom on my satellite 1110 has suddenly stopped working. When I insert a cd or a dvd there is no activity in the drive and when I look in my computer there is no recognized files.

I used the Device Manager and it says that the device is working normally. It's like the PC just can't 'see' the camera more.

I used the program of troubleshooting without success and I was wondering if someone technically a little more spirit that had me ideas

    See you soon

    Hello!

CODE 10 "is not to start... '. »

I tried several drivers, but no one works very well. I've read about this problem, but I can't degrade SP2 or something. I suppose, I need help!

I have not found this topic here, I know not why?

It would be great, if someone knows a healing of my player card/driver.

    If all goes well,

    William

    Hello!

As a first step, you should tell us what phone you have.
Did you install the laptop with the recovery disk or Microsoft?

A downgrade to SP2 is only possible if the CD is only SP2 or less. If the CD comes with SP3 to SP2 a downgrade is not possible.

Have you tried the driver from the Web from Toshiba site?
