  The forum here is not for exchange recovery disks.

  I know it hard to hear, but the first, what you need to do if you get a laptop is to burn a recovery disk and you didn t do that.

  You can also ask a local ASP (authorized service provider) for a recovery disc.

  I ve checked page download Toshiba U.S. and obviously this model of laptop is not supported for Windows XP Home edition. American models are not known to me, but you can check if a similar model with a hardware similar is supported for Windows XP Home edition and use these drivers.

  As far as I know, this device is your laptop card reader and therefore you need to download the Flash Media driver from the Toshiba page.

  I checked the page but it s is only available for the 32-bit Vista or XP :(

  You can try a driver for another model laptop but there is no guarantee that it will work. Just check out ;)

  PS: the SM bus and mass storage controller are communities which are only compatible Vista and so drivers don't exist for the XP operating system

  I've recently changed this laptop Windows XP MCE. I got all the drivers out of the Toshiba download except the network card page. Both versions, it lists only containing an 'uninstaller '.

  Download the driver and extract the contents into a new folder created. Please enter the LAN card properties in Device Manager and choose the option to install the driver. Asked about the driver choose navigate to this new created folder and see what happens.

  I'm looking for the driver for the USB devide with the following details:

  I am running windows XP. While trying to install a printer, I had to update the usb driver, which has caused all my usb ports stop working. After that, I uninstalled the USB drivers for windows to reinstall uppon reboot, but it did not. As a result, none of my USB ports are currently working, and I have a USB device not recognized in Device Manager

  A friend with the same PC has identified this device as "USB hub" generic "on his PC. Where and how to find the driver?

  For the use of the USB ports on your machine that you n t need any special drivers and you won't find anything on the Toshiba download page. After the installation of Windows XP Home edition, the ports are recognized correctly.

  I really put t know which driver you are trying to configure but usually the driver must be installed to the device, and not for existing USB ports. As far as I know, this unit has USB 2.0 and there should not be any problem.

  I assume you are using Win7 32 bit version, right?
  Did you clean Win7 installation or you have upgraded Vista to Win7?

  Generally speaking if you can't find the version Win7 Vista driver should work.
  Which we tested, ALPS, Synaptics, or both?

  If you use an external mouse and use a specific driver for it. do not crush the touchpad.
