  In recent days, I get a blue screen of death with the error 'whea_uncorrectable_error', I read something about the BIOS update, because the error is probably caused by the previous version of the BIOS. I gave the updated correctly, but as soon as restarting my laptop, nothing has been started.

  I've just updated tempro informed me a bios update. I ran the update, but it froze completely the system (Vista). I waited 15 minutes to show no sign of life (flashing lights or unlocking system) and then I turned it off thinking the thing crashed. Now, it won't turn.

  You have a laptop A300D. It s a series different and, therefore, you couldn't t use the BIOS files designed for A300 series!
  This may damage the module ROM and mobo!
  You can find the latest version of the BIOS on the Toshiba European page of the driver... otherwise, you will need to contact the ASP in your country for assistance, or an older version of BIOS.

  Satellite A110 does not support these options (SATA AHCI).
  The update of the BIOS will not help you!

  Linux is not supported and therefore, you will not find any special BIOS for Linux OS!

  The two BIOS updates are for Win Vista or OS independent.
  Therefore, if you use other than Vista OS then you should throw the update of the independent BIOS to the BONE!

  But as mentioned above; both options will not appear after the BIOS update!
