  • Satellite A300-1EG: problem with the touchpad after installing Windows 7

    Hello!

I had a problem with my touchpad since I installed Windows 7 (64-bit version) on my laptop (Toshiba) A300-1EG.

I tried many different solutions to this problem.
I checked the alignment of the touchpad (be it on) in the BIOS, I tried to install several drivers (on a site of Synaptics, automatically by Windows) and none of these work. Of course, I tried FN + F9 key combination.
When I check the alignment of the touchpad in the Control Panel, everything seems fine. It is written, that "device working properly.

I have Toshiba Software, what may be the cause of the problem?
But I have no idea where I can find something.

    I'd appreciate any help.

I hope to be understandable - English is not my mother tongue :) Thank you very much in advance for any ideas. :)

    Hi mate

I'm not quite sure what problem you have but you should first try to install the necessary drivers touchpad m.
Maybe you used the wrong driver in the past

So Sat A300-1EG belongs to the series of PSAG4E.
The European driver Toshiba page does not provide a special touchpad driver for Win 7 for this device.

But I noticed that Win 7 64 bit drivers touchpad (Alps & Synaptics) for Satellite L500 PSLS3E series is released on the European driver page.
Try both drivers Touch Pad for this device and test it!

  • Satellite A300-215 - cannot get the mode full screen

    Hi people!

    Yesterday bought a beautiful 215 Satellite A300 - Intel Core 2 Duo / P8700 / 2.53 Ghz / 15. 4 WXGA / * Radeon HD 3650 * / 400GO
"Works like a Ferrari, but has a problem of querky get a full screen whenever I try to play any media, for example watching footy, movies, the screen will just go *" FULL SCREEN "*: (: (, tried my best change the display resolutions in the control panel in all possible ways, but can't it upwards with a full screen full.))"

Downloaded yet another driver nvidia video driver that corresponds with the books of Toshiba, but it does not work. The current driver I have to view it of ATI Mobility Radeon 3650, also of no assistance?

When I try to set the resolution fpr the wmp player or player spvod to fit the entire screen, the page turns just huge, unmanageable, it's fine with laptop functions, no problem. at all, but not possible to take advantage of any media-magnified.

Strongly, I'd appreciate it if someone could help me please solve this, thanks in advance! Soon :)

    Hi Amor,

    > Downloaded yet another driver nvidia video driver
Are you kidding me? : D
Why you are downloading a nVidia display driver if you have a Radeon HD 3650 graphics card?
    I put t understand this

Anyway, you have full screen in Windows, or this only happens if you play any media?

In addition, it would be interesting to know if you have installed XP yourself or was it is preinstalled on your laptop? You should test it with OS preinstalled Toshiba, maybe that s a software problem.

Also make sure that this latest version of the BIOS is installed and verify in the display settings, the image format Options. It must be set to full screen.

  • 8530p blue screen after the awakening of the mode standby.

    Hello.

    Windows 7 Enterprise 32-bit. (EDITED)

A user has a problem as his computer blue screens after he was awakened to "sleep" mode and the other thing is this problem is intermittent.

The error message I saw said that it was a KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR STOP error message is 0x0000007A and the second parameter was 0xC000009D.

According to http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff559211 (v = vs. 85) .aspx this type of error indicates - "0xC000009D or STATUS_DEVICE_NOT_CONNECTED, indicates defective wiring or in bulk, termination or that the controller does not see the hard drive."

Hard disk, I ran the tests integrated in the BIOS, online tool check the system of HP for laptop PC (http://h20239.www2.hp.com/techcenter/HP_SystemCheck/hp_syscheck.htm) and same Seagates own Seatool because there is a Seagate drive in the machine. All these tests said nothing about a problem with the hard drive.

The online tool, said there is no update available on the BIOS drivers.

I even had the user to remove the hard drive and put it back to make sure he wasn't a wire loose, bad connection or something like that.

I phoned helpdesk of HP where I live and I told him this and he said that it is most likely a software problem.

So so I need help to find out what software might be behind this error.

I can't provide shocks either, given the error and blue screen also says "dump of physical memory failed with status 0xC0000010.".

So is it a known software that could be the cause of these problems?

EDIT: As pointed out by erico, I forgot the information about this operating system. That's why I added this information at the top of my first post.

Sorry I have not responded earlier.

It seems that the problem is solved since the user had no blue screens for over a week now.

The solution was quite simple: reinstall on a new hard drive, even if each test drive, I ran on the subject, said the old drive was ok. This includes BIOS integrated HP and test online, chkdsk in Windows 7 and Seagate tool own Seatool.

    Best regards

  • Accident sound and graphics of P200D-11R satellite after the awakening of the mode standby

    Hello

I was wondering if anyone here has had experiences similar to mine (below) or he can offer solutions.

I have updated my OS P200D-11R for Vista 64 Ultimate to take advantage of the additional performance. I also add that the BIOS has already been updated to version 1.4.

Well, everything works fine with the standard 2Gig of RAM that the laptop came with originally, however, when I update the 4Gig RAM (2 x 2 GB Samsung 667 mHz modules), sound problems and graphics appear each time that the machine is reduced from mode 'sleep'.

The soundcard is a noise fuzzy laud very whenever he wants to play a sound and graphics to produce a lot of horizontal lines on the screen. I then just restart the machine which means losing all my unsaved work.

Everything works fine as long as the machine is not fashion "Eve". Currently, I disabled sleep mode to prevent the machine from entering, but I find life very difficult without it.

I am very surprised and also disappointed by the fact that Toshiba didn't test these machines with Vista 64 Ultimate and 4Gig of RAM!

    Additional info:
Memory is the same type of Samsung as 1Gig modules supplied by Toshiba initially with the machine, and the Toshiba part number is recommended.
I tried to install other (newer) device drivers from Realtek and ATI with no improvement.
Memory modules all trials and are not defective. They have also been tested on my laptop Dell friends without any problems even in mode 'sleep'.
I installed my friends 2Gig Dell memory modules in my P200D and they produce exactly the same results with sleep after accidents.

My thoughts are that it must be another problem of BIOS unless anyone can shed some light on the question from another angle.

    Help, please! Thanks in advance.

So if I understand this right, everything works fine using the standard RAM modules.
In my opinion, the problem is caused by the new additional RAM.

I have no idea why this happens, but in my opinion, it would be really interesting to know if this problem still persists with other memory modules live.
I think this should be verified without a doubt because in this case, you might find what? s evil exactly!

  • After the awakening of the mode standby, Thunderbird crashes if the start menu of windows 10 is open RESOLVED in version 38.3.0

If I have Thunderbird up and then I put windows in sleep mode, when I come back once again, the start menu in Windows 10 appears automatically (can someone tell me how to stop this?). If I click anywhere on the screen menu start disappears and everything works fine, but if I forget to do it and for example, double-click on an email to open it, Thunderbird and then freezes. If I close Thunderbird and re-open he, she, then it brings up the email that I had clicked on, so he must have tried to open it while it was frozen.
This isn't a big problem, just annoying bloom. Don't know if it's a problem of Windows 10 or Thunderbird. If someone can tell me how to stop start menu from popping up automatically, it wouldn't solve the problem, but it would be at least!

Version 38.3.0 is now available. Resolve the problem?

  • Desktop Compaq with Windows 7 no reconnect to the internet after the awakening of the mode standby

Info on the computer: Compaq SG3-150SC desktop computer, processor is AMD Athlon (TM) II x 2 215 with 2, is 7 MHz, bios American Megatrends Inc. 6.01, 23.4.2010 SMBIOS version 2.6, RAM is 4 GB total. OS is Windows 7 64 bit edition Home premium + service pack 2.

    ON THE PROBLEM

This problem has happened recently. Once I turn on my desktop mode computer "sleep", it cannot reconnect to the Internet and I use only cable internet which computer is connected via ethernet to the cable-internet-modem/router cable. The computer seems to be able to view all available networks, but she was never able to connect to the Internet (after waking up from sleep). At the same time that the computer seems to have slowed a lot, I have no idea why, but I guess he's trying to reconnect to the internet and this process of reconnection is devouring its resources.

I had other problems with this computer during this past year the half, but will not go into great detail with them now. These problems have been losing some dll. file that was ment to display the Win 7 great/normal devices connected to the computer, and a total system crashes / freezes after having updated graphics drivers AMD ATI Radeon 3000. However these problems seem to have disappeared after Windows 7 service pack 2 update. Also, I scanned the computer several times with a well-known and apreciated overall software security, no virus or other major security problems have been found.

The only problem that seems to have the computer right now is just this question, I am trying to solve.

Any suggestions to check and make what?

    Hello:

A few suggestions, you can try...

    1. install the latest driver W7 ethernet of the Realtek RTL8105E ethernet adapter to your PC.

Download, unzip and run the application configuration of the 2nd on the Web page below.

    http://www.Realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?langid=1 & PNid = 14 & PFid = 7 & Level = 5 & Conn = 4 & DownTypeID = 3 & getdown = false

    2. go in Device Manager, expand network adapters device category.

Left click on the Realtek ethernet card.

Click the power management tab, and uncheck the box to allow windows to turn off this device to save power.

    > Is there a chance that I can have my screen replaced?
I doubt that the screen would be replaced only due to a dead pixel.

Please check out this article from Toshiba. I found it in the page of knowledge base of Toshiba.

  • BSOD after the awakening of the mode standby

Hello, everytime my laptop (Sony Vaio running Windows 7) wake mode 'sleep', I get the blue screen of death. Now, I ran BlueScreenView and checked the dump files. Apparently some driver called "ntoskrnl.exe" is the source of the problem. I looked for a solution, but apparently this driver is not the real source of my problem. I also ran the Verifier and it is said that a driver was caught corrupting the system. Can someone help me please?

    HD

I think your question is double. I would first of all re - install the latest version of NETwNs64.sys, then as auditor blame tcipireg.sys I would launch an audit file system and just in case the scan of Malwarebytes.  If the two come back clean I think about the withdrawal of AVG and using MSE at least to test

I would also turn off auditor by typing auditor/Reset

Found Driver Verifier pilot failed, and it is related to the c:\windows\system32\drivers\tcpipreg.sys registry compatibility driver TCP/IP de Microsoft Corporation.

Run a check of the filesystem (CFS)

    Open a cmd high window

(Go to start > type CMD > right click and run as administrator)
    Type SFC/scannow
You may need to run this upward to 3 times.
Let us know the results at the end
Please download the free version of Malwarebytes.
    Update immediately.
Do a full scan of the system

  • U2413, crazy to display after the awakening of the mode standby

I just installed and calibrated my monitor U2413.  It seems that every time I wake up the display after my computer went into mode 'sleep', I get a distorted picture.

Most of the time if I turn the screen then turn on the monitor resets. I use a dual monitor set up and the secondary display is fine.

How do you know if there is a problem with my monitor or the video card in my computer?

    Thank you

    Crystal

You can contact Customer Service and ask them to arrange a changemonitor. You keep your current monitors until arrives the replacement. Test the replacement, if it has the same problem, return the replacement to Dell. If it doesn't have the problem, return the original to Dell.
