  As "[email protected]", I have similar problems with my Satellite A60.

  After about 10 minutes of normal use on a hard, flat surface, the laptop starts to become very hot and turns off (obviously overheating). He started only when working with heavy editing workload, but is now it does all the time.

  Is this a common fault with the A60? I've had mine for a little more than 12 months and had no probems, and now all of a sudden I can barely use the thing! (of course, it's just out of warranty)

  I'm almost certain I have a hardware problem with my Toshiba A60. Explorer.exe has stopped running, doing system restore helped for a while, but he just kept happening again.
