  Hi guys, I need your help with this laptop because it gives me a lot of problems.

  I changed the screen of this Satellite A660-18 because one had been installed has been damaged. I installed and works fine but I have problems with the brightness.   You have an original spare part of Toshiba (display) or is it a 3rd party screen? It is important to use the Toshiba spare parts only because they are tested and designed for your Toshiba laptop. If you use 3rd party parts, they may not work.

  I put t know what what is for you hot and wasn't, but on my Toshiba Satellite laptop I've never had a problem that it too hot.

  I m not Satellite A660 owner, but a friend told a. He never spoke to me such a problem expect that s a great notebook with powerful hardware and he likes the design. I agree with him that s a great notebook from Toshiba!

  Anyway, if you think that it of not normal, you need to contact a service provider authorized in your country. Guys can check this problem and maybe you need a new keyboard, but this can be exchanged under warranty.

  Is about 3 or 4 months ago, I bought a new Toshiba Satellite A660 - 11 M.
  I noticed the following problem: lights from time to time my laptop occasionally fade or turn on (lights on Toshiba panell, the word 'Satellite' and the line on Touchpad) and a short beep sound rises.

  Multimedia keys are controlled by VAP (value added package), lighting controlled by BIOS too. You can enable and disable this in the BIOS settings.

  When the keyboard is removed on the back side is a sticker with part number that you can use to search for and order new keyboard. In my opinion this is the best and easiest way to find a good keyboard.

  Keyboard with backlight has additional cable for power and you cannot use it with our machine, so, in my opinion, there is no sense to buy it. Remove the keyboard and we part of the keypad number.
