  Problem is this recovery saved disk image external DRIVE cannot be used. In s manuals document is clearly described that the owner of the laptop must create recovery media. This recovery media can be a DVD disc or USB key, depending on the model of laptop.

  What you can do now is to restore disc original order or to install the clean version of the OS with installation of Microsoft disk but it is also not the best solution.

  Are you sure that this connector on the bottom is for food?

  It s better to open Notepad and do a little welding work on the conn of power.
  Hot glue afterwards to make sure that the connector is well fixed.
  BTW: check the radiator and do some cleanup would be good.

  I think that the integrated firewall router and dhcp server integrated are the first things to check. May be there are separate configuration for Ethernet and WIFI connections options. Check if your wireless connection is "default gateway" address when the computer shows that it is connected to WIFI.   Maybe something stupid, but did you check if the wireless network adapter is always enabled? You can press key combination FN + F8 to toggle the WIFI connection.
