Hello
I am not able to find the drivers. In the Device Manager when I check the details of the "unknown device" it says "TOS6205/ACPI compliant."

I tried to look for the 'Bluetooth stack"Driver for my model in the pg Driver download. But I seem not to be fined.

Short model: PSC1NV (received this box no.)
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate version 6.1.7600 (build 7600) (I guess it's 32-bit). (the laptop is x 86)

    Hello.

It WinXP Pro + SP 3.
In the display devices, such as an unknown device manager. Try all of the pilots, who were on a disc with the laptop, nothing helps. Give the solution!

I still use Windows XP Home with Service Pack 2 and I'm really happy with it. If you have some problems with SP3 remove and continue to use Windows XP Home with Service Pack 2 only. Satellite 5200 is quite old but very nice laptop. Make sure that the laptop works fine with SP2 and you have an application of good-antivir.

Simply to operate Satellite 5200. I noticed that many people have reported on various issues after installing SP3. Exactly the same thing with Vista SP1.

  • Satellite L300 PSLBGE - unknown device in Device Manager

    Hello!

I would be very grateful for any help/tips if anyone has an idea what to do...

My friend has the laptop mentioned above (w/o OS preinstalled) and we can't get the graphics card work properly - situation is the following

    (1) mobile intel 4 series express chipset family, and an unknown device with an exclamation mark in Device Manager
    (2) both are on the same PCI BUS 0, device 2?
    (3) intel does not work because there is no free resources (I should remove the unknown device?) to work with
    (4) HW ID for the unknown device is pci ven_8086 & dev_2A43 and intel pci ven_8086 & dev_2A42 (so basically the same, right?)
    (5) Finally, and most importantly, if I go to the desktop-customize-advanced (first of all no resolution 1280 * 800) I see under adapter type:. Exactly, nothing... under properties, it appears: device not plug and play, Super VGA and under driver, I see just the status and the ability to stop, off, automatic, ask... the device at startup... If I turn it off, the screen just does not shine when the laptop is turned on...
    Any ideas? I'm insaneeeeee...

Vista Home Premium, all other Toshiba SW installed (value pack, intel BIOS 1.9, etc. - maybe the BIOS did it?)

    Thanks in advance!

PS maybe SP1 I now install help?

    Hello

Wait a minute: I checked the Vendor ID and Device ID on www.pcidatabase.com and this is the graphics card Intel. So I think that's the reason why you can t change the resolution of the screen.

I guess you forgot to install the display driver. See the Web from Toshiba site because here you can download the driver:
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com-online decision-making supported Downloads & => Download drivers

After that you should t have no exclamation point.

You can install SP1 for Vista, but that does not solve the problem with the missing display driver. But you should install it because it contains a lot of updates to security, they are important. In addition, I recommend to install SP2 for Vista.

    Good bye

  • Satellite U500-115 - unknown devices after the Installation of Win XP

    Hello

I just installed Windows XP on a Satellite U500 - 115 (PSU5EE) and cannot get rid of several unknown devices in Device Manager.

Before to install the operating system, I changed settings AHCI in the BIOS to Compatibility-Mode (IDE), so I don't need to inject the SATA driver during installation.

    These are the unknown devices:

    ACPI\PNP0C32\1 (location: Intel ICH9M LPC Interface Controller - 2919)

    ACPI\PNP0C32\2 (location: Intel ICH9M LPC Interface Controller - 2919)

    ACPI\PNP0C32\3 (location: Intel ICH9M LPC Interface Controller - 2919)

    ACPI\PNP0C32\4 (location: Intel ICH9M LPC Interface Controller - 2919)

    ACPI\TOS6205\2 & DABA3FF & 0 (location: System compatible ACPI Microsoft)

Of course, I installed driver chipset and graphics driver from the toshiba download page, but the unknown devices are still there! Can you please tell me what kind of driver I need to install ACPI devices - and get rid of these unknown devices?

    Thanks in advance,
    Hans

    Hello

In my opinion the unknown devices belongs to the SATA interface controller and these appear as unknown device because you have installed the XP compatible mode.

Try to install the Intel Storage Manager driver.

ACPI\TOS6205 device can be a Bluetooth device.
You must install the battery Bluetooth to get rid of unknown device.

It won't scroll up and down, left and right more.
So I don't know if I deleted this program by mistake. Can't do a system restore either because that which is also eliminated.

    Help, please...

I assume that you have not disabled the device or damaged Windows installation - the mouse is as fundamental as the keyboard and would need some removal of smart to 'delete '.

Have you checked the State of the key in the Device Manager?
You have a small button near the touch pad that turns off?
If missing just the driver, then, you have 3 options

    1. click on 'My product to support' near the top of this page and follow / complete the pages to find the Toshiba touch pad driver

    2. access the synaptec site and download the driver

3 go to Uscrybe.com, a synaptic site and download the driver - more features than 1 or 2

  • Satellite C660: webcam message - device is locked by another application

I have a Satellite C660 notebook PC series. the webcam was working fine with the old driver installed...
I work a little bit and use Skype to talk to my wife while he's stuck in a hotel room...

I connected as normal but Skype could not find the camera, I opened the camera manually using the navigation on the desktop bar and got an error message "Device is locked by another application" I quit all other programs that can use it, but still got the same message.

Still couldn't get it to work then looked in the Task Manager and the process tree to see if something was running (did not know really what I was looking for in the process.)

I then updated and reinstalled the driver - this is the latest version of the driver and changed the appearance of the home screen of camera - still have the same error message.

Tried several times to the installation of the driver, but nothing... and yet the face recognition screen lights up and uses the webcam... so I know that this product works, but he usually opened manually or with Skype

    Help, please

    Hello

I think that you can not use the cam as part of the Skype because the webcam is blocked by other software, I suppose that its face recognition.

    I recommend doing this:
    Uninstall the webcam software
    Uninstall the facial recognition
    Restart the device
    Install the webcam software
    Install face recognition
and then test it with Skype.

You reinstall the operating system on your laptop?

Generally, the laptop is delivered to the image of Toshiba and there should be some unknown devices in Device Manager

In the forum guys have put the link to the very useful document from Toshiba.
It describes how to identify the unknown devices.

  • Satellite A100-237: unknown device after installing Vista

    Hi all

Just installed vista on my A100-237... After doing the upgrade of the BIOS and the installation of the "unknown device" Value Pack, with the location "on system compatible ACPI Microsoft" appeared in my device manager, any ideas on how to address this issue?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello

Could you please check if you can see the 'Batteries' entry under ' computer in Device Manager?
As far as I know that the entrance of batteries should have a "Microsoft SMART Battery" & "Microsoft SMART Battery subsystem.

If there is an unknown device, this might have something to do with Microsoft ACPI Compliant Embedded Controller.
In this case it seems that you need a driver for MS SMART SMART Battery & MS battery subsystem.

  • P 8470 & HP HP 8440 P: upgrading to W10 Pro 64 bit / device Reporting - unknown device manager

    I have recently upgraded to Windows Pro 64-bit 10.  Machines involved are - 8440p & 8470p running W7 Pro 64-bit.

    The Device Manager shows an unknown device - ACPI\HPQ6000\3 & 33FD14CA & 0.

Could someone tell me what this is in reference to.  Perhaps point to a driver that I could update.

    Thank you / / Jeff

    You are the very welcome.

The reason why you don't see the driver is because most of the drivers are missing in support pages, which have not worked directly for HP split into 2 companies from 1 August.

This is certainly the driver you need.  If the version of W7 works, I can't say.

    See if it works.

    FTP://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp59001-59500/sp59282.exe

If this driver does the same thing...

Go to Device Manager and click on the unknown device of 6000 who need pilots.

Click on the driver tab, click on set to update driver.  Select her browse my computer for driver software option, then at the bottom of this window, let pick me from a list of drivers for devices on my computer.

Click on disk and go to C:\SWSetup\sp59282\accelerometer and select the HP Mobile Data Protection sensor and see if the pilot goes like this.

Here's a partial copy and paste of the accelerometer installation information file.

As you can see the device is supported by the driver.

But it's the most recent driver is there, I know.

But I have 2 unrecognized devices in Device Manager.

Modem & FireWire will not work.

    What can I do?

    Hello

I can't explain why these two devices are listed as non-recognized, but make sure that you have installed the chipset driver as a first step, immediately after installing the OS finish. Please check Toshiba download page and there you can find the instructions facilities document. Follow the order of the facilities and everything should be ok.
