Satellite L100 105 initialize not sleep mode?

Hello I have a big problem!

I shut down my computer on the eve.
But when I turn on the unit again, I don't see anything on the screen!
No Toshiba symbol no nothing.

It seems to load the HARD disk shortly and the HDD LED flashes, the DVD drive reads something, and the keyboard lights little Flash at the same time. as a normal boot process. But after that, it will be processed again. It's like a loop!

I need help. someone has an idea for my problem?

Hello

Seems not very well.
If the Toshiba welcome screen does not appear then that there might be something wrong with the hardware.
I think you don't have a lot of possibilities. Contact the service partner allowed in your country to control the laptop.

    Hello!

What Satellite L100 you have exactly or what graphics card does it?

In your case I would visit the Toshiba European page and search your Satellite L100 driver download list. There you can download the display driver for Windows Vista. The Vista drivers are also work on Windows 7.

  • Satellite L30-105 does not recognize the 1 GB of additional RAM

Hi there I hope someone can help me

I have a Satellite L30-105 PSL33E, which came with 1 GB of ram installed (2 x 512 MB made by TeamViewer)
and it's terribly slow with vista, not to mention programs.
The toshiba website says max RAM is 2 GB, so I bought a Kingston 1 GB ram chip to increase the ram to 1.5 GB. I thought should try before moving to 2 GB

However after installing memory vivid it's show still only 1 GB in windows and in the bios (894 + the rest for video). It has the latest available BIOS on the site 3.10, yet still does not recognize the chip.

The chip is installed in the lower slot, including the original 512 at the top (closest to the keyboard)

Are limited to only some of the Satellite of RAM?
The old subjects indicate if kingston does not work try corsair.
Other topics suggested to change slots
Others suggest that it may have only two of the same ram chips in IE 2 x 512 or 2 x 1 GB, you may not have 1 of each

Can anyone help? everyone knows about similar problems?

I will not buy any more RAM to try different brands for the same issue to occur

    Hello

The L30-105 is able to manage the 1024Mo modules in each location it should be able to update the RAM up to 2 GB.

Perhaps the two modules are not compatible with each other
I would recommend using two identical modules of the same manufacturing
I use Kingston modules, they are ok for me

I read manual - this laptop supports 533 PC4200 memory modules.

The memory modules, we can install to Toshiba L100-113?

    Hello

I think that the laptop does not power upward because of a barrette memory faulty or not fully compatible.

Please visit this memory 3rd party:

When I install the two new modules the laptop won't boot. I tried to install one at the time and both work individually. I also tried 1 X 512 MB
and 1 X 1 GB, which also worked.

Help I have updated the bios but still can not computing for work with 2 GB of memory?

  • Satellite U400 won't turn on & when we will not sleep mode

I have a Satellite U400 and is a year and a few months.

In the last few it was in place, and it started when the computer goes to sleep and goes to the black white screen, it will not fall.
The only way to do anything is held in the power up to what it turns off and then back on. This brings me to the warning screen that I turned off my computer incorrectly. It was actions also for a few weeks and randomly started unexpectedly.

Then just today it does at all, I was pressing the power button and the key itself would be lit up and on the right side of the small lights would light up but don't turn on, I kept pressing it again and again and again and finally it turn on. Once on, I used only for a few minutes before turning off again and then do the same thing, I kept pressing the bottom until it works. Its been on now and has not extinguished again.

There not in the newspaper I had to reformat my computer because I forget my password and had put me out of the computer. About a week after that is when the problems started. I'm not all that clever computer, to be honest, I do not understand something of things, I can follow step by step to do something.

I really want to pay to have it fix I just want myself and as soon as its in great shape and never had any problems before.

Does anyone have any idea what this might be, or why it might be?

I think about reformatting again because I'm worried that didn't work right the 1st time or something.

Or if it's something that needs fixing someone have any idea on the cost of it?

    Thanks ^_^

    Hi aev270,
sounds like a serious problem for me.
Try the following: take out the battery, cd-rom, hard disk, and then try again.
If it starts without this items - you lucky!
This means that it is probably a software problem (but I think not - sorry)
you see the toshiba logo / messages from the bios? No - the you're in trouble.
This strange behavior may depend on many things: defektive components such as ram, grafics... nor (badest) motherboard...
If you have still warranty on this subject, you should go to a having servicepartner check installation.

  • Satellite L100 no primer not if the WiFi is enabled

    Hello

From the beginning, yesterday for the first time my husband connected its Satellite Pro L100 PSLA4E to a LCD TV using an s-video cable. Everything seems to work properly but thebackground on thedesktop had disappeared, there was just a white background combined with all the usual desktop icon. It has restarted the lappy thought it would be sort, but have not arrested the TV first. The lappy didn't start back up - just had a black screen Uni, no warning or anything like that.

A couple of friends mind technology came at this time and suggested the lappy had "lost" his display drivers, and after a lot of research has decided the only option was to reinstall everything from scratch.

I don't have the original Toshiba restore discs or recovery discs so downloaded all the drivers from this site. Now the laptop won't boot if the wifi is enabled. This model has a network card Atheros - at least the lable on low said contains Atheros AR5BMB5.

If I turn the wifi on off switch the lappy starts every time, however, if the switch is on it will not start even in safe mode. If I turn on wifi after windows THAT XP has started up the lappy freezes and keyboard etc are out of order and I have to force a shutdown by pressing the power button.

So far I have spent hours this trawling and other websites to try to find clues that could help.

Does anyone have any suggestions as Christmas is likely to be hell if her husband has not his lappy to play with!

Thank you very much in anticipation.

    Tree

    Hello tree

After almost 10 years with Toshiba computers laptops, I would say that I have never heard of something like this. To me, this seems incredible.
The best solution for you is to install the OS by using original Toshiba recovery image. If you do not have one you can order it.

What you can try is to enter the BIOS at startup settings. Set it to default settings and check if the problem persists.

  • iPod Touch generation 5 will not 'sleep' mode

Anyone having problems with the last iOS 9.3.5 where your iPod Touch in WITHOUT entering the mode 'sleep'?  The battery on my iPod Touch is draining that if she is constantly the same after pressing the button stop/market/sleep.  My battery down to almost 0% and I have to force a reboot (hold Home and on/Off/sleep button together for 10 sec) is to wake up when connecting to the iTunes.  Anyone have any idea how to force the iPod mode 'sleep'?

The iPod's sleep if you do not have "SLIDE TO POWER OFF" and the screen is empty, except that you can play audio with white screen.

Your iPod to sleep is based on the definition of sleep?

When he sleeps depending on the settings you have defined, the iPid can do things in his sleep like audit and udating apps, mail

  • Satellite L750 goes no more 'sleep' mode

I've had my L750 for 10 months now. Suddenly it will not go in mode 'sleep' when I close the lid. I checked the power settings and it is set to standby mode when closed.

Everyone has ideas, I'm sick of working full time.

On this virtual path, it is not easy to say why this is happening. The configuration of your laptop is unknown for us but maybe some background process or in the background running application block it.

Try to stop some of them manually and check again.

  • Satellite P100-286 goes into sleep mode

I noticed that even though she put to sleep when I close the lid. Fans continue and the sleep led remains blue.

Read the manual suggest the machine to turn off fans, material etc and the light should be orange.
Hibernation works fine, but I want to sleep.
I suspect that the problem lies in the NVidia 7900 GS drivers that I use (7.15.10.9754).

I tried to go back to Microsoft with no luck.
Should what drivers I use to solve the problem of sleep and how to get Vista to use? He always seems to use later.

    Hello

    Using Windows Vista?
On Toshiba laptops with Windows XP the energy saver is installed and control settings for standby and hibernation mode.
I guess on computers laptops with operating system Vista Toshiba energy saver has not been installed and you should check the settings in Vista power options.

I put t know what drivers you use and where you downloaded it, but you must use the drivers that came with the laptop and the image of Toshiba.
