Satellite L350 - Vista loses internet connection

Hi all

From time to time (in fact quite often), I lose my connection to the internet
Problem appears as follows:

I run for example Outlook, Firefox (2 or 3 tabs) and Skype
As soon as I have a Skype conference while surfing a few pages, my connection is broken for a short period...
Firefox can't open or sites Web support and Skype is down for a few seconds...

It is the first time when using this laptop with vista installed!
My other laptop (Toshiba too but with WXP) doesn't have this problem!

My connection is LAN and 6000 MB Wireless

I just want you to:
My laptop WXP works well enough (for years)
The problem now appears under Vista...

I like to keep Vista...

Please get back to me!

In your case, I'll try to update the BIOS and the driver WLAN. The two you can find on the Toshiba site:
http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com > support & downloads > download drivers

In addition, you must turn off the power save in Vista the WLAN card. This document could be useful for you:

Last but not least make sure that you use the same standard WiFi router. For example, 802. 11 b, g,

I have another 3 laptops and an ipad on the network, so don't think that there is no problem with the network. The wireless connection is enabled, wireless says its working properly and I did all the checks recommended by my ISP.

Anyone has any ideas I can try? Thanks for any help offered.

    Hello

Did you check if the firewall is blocking the connection Internet by Satellite L350? So if you have a firewall installed you should disable and then test it again.
What happens if you open a Web browser?

The Satellite L350 has an IP address? Maybe you have to change it in the TCP/IP configuration. Also test it with static and automatic IP address (depending on your router).

  • WRT160N LOSES INTERNET CONNECTIVITY

I have a wrt160n connected to a Motorola ATT DSL Modem.I only have intermittent internet connectivity. He worked awhile then lose internet connectivity on my XP computer plugged directly on the router, as well as on my laptop vista home wireless. I worked twice with the Linksys support and followed their suggestions of reconfiguration, but the problem persists. The modem ip address is 192.168.1.254. Linksys said to change the default address of the router to 10.10.1.1... I did, but it didn't fix it. Some of the messages on the forum said to change it to 192.168.2.1. I tried and still intermitttent only connectivity. I can bypass the router and go directly to xp destop and it runs rock solid, so the problem is somewhere in the settings of the router. I'm about to renounce it and sell it on ebay and buy an ATT modem/router combo. The Ant is my last resort. Another thing, I downloaded and installed the latest version of the firmware 2.0.02 11.

I'm under the router with DHCP. I use my own SSID with personal WPA2, AES encryption. Linksys support had me change the standard channel to 2,452 GHZ and disable any filtering of the internet. Now, I use an IP from 192.168.2.1.

I am courious to see if anyone has had this router to work on a DSL ATT modem. Also, anyone have any suggestions on where I go from here?

    Thank you

If you have version V2 of this router, you can downgrade the firmware.  See here:

  • How can I remove the "crumbs" of an uninstalled spyware that brought me to lose internet connectivity?

This problem is not specific to Vista. Last year, I bought a new laptop of Dell Studio with XP SP3 installed. Everything worked very well; but was my former spyware removal software is more of his work. I could tell my internet experience slowed but the program did not come with any spyware/malware to remove. So, I went back to a program that I used about 5 years that seems to work for us: Stopzilla. I could tell immediately something was wrong, because while the program seems to work fine while I was online, when I tried to use it to search for existing infections stagnant 1% fine and would never go any further.

I tried an uninstall. The function of "uninstall a program" Windows would not be set up Stopzilla for uninstall. Of course, I was in trouble. Used another 3rd part of the program of cleaning of registry problems, etc., but it also uninstalled programs. Apparently, not good enough. I then did a "search" for all the files/folder (hidden or not) that had attached to it Stopzilla and remove results. Still nothing.

As I've studied how to remedy this problem, I found many references to lose internet connectivity wireless due to the remains of these types of programs related to system functions.

I did all the basics: checked the connection itself, checked my network settings, check the configuration of the router, ping the ip address, renew the ip address, checked the DNS server address, etc, etc.  Even gone beyond that and used the ip address 'reinstall' difficulty and even tried track things directly through the registry. Nothing. Still unable to connect to the internet using ANY browser and can only use it locally.

I am about to take the computer to a PC clinic but really won't be without the phone for days because of a major project deadline.  Is there anything I can do to get my wireless connection working again?

    Thank you - gstrumberger

STOPzilla says on its site that its compatible with win98 through win 7, which could lead me to suspect its validity, and since you were unable to uninstall it, well...
I suppose you have a restore point for a period prior to installation?
And if not how comfortable you are with the registry change?

Security Suite updates on my daughters Toshiba Satellite L350 windows vista the operating system no longer works.
An error was detected on the system that contains the following message.

Open a session about UI.exe - corrupted file
    File or directory C/Program ~ 1 / Toshiba/Smart face V is corrupt & unreadable.

I tried to run a system restore to the last configuration on both computers, but always the same problem exists. I also tried to restore the two laptops to the factory settings, but the system still does not work. I don't have a restore disk as disk Toshiba HARD drive recovery is on the laptop.

Can someone help me or suggest any way I can fix it both of these laptops. It seems very strange that both of these computers have stopped working at the same time according to windows automatic updates in October 09.

    Thank you Gary

    Hello

AFAIK the LogonUI.exe is responsible for connecting to the Windows operating system.
If the exe file is corrupt then you won't be able to connect to the operating system.

You don t the recovery disk but you have the HARD drive on the second partition recovery this may be your last resort.

Switch on and press F8. Choose fix my computer.
Then new window appears offering the option called: HARD drive recovery.

Choose this option and see if you can start the HDD recovery procedure.

  • Lose Internet connection after sleep/standby/hibernation Mode

I recently bought a new HP Pavilion Elite e9105z CTO Office and migrated from Win XP to Vista Home Premium x 64, with a NVIDIA nForce 10/100 Mbps Ethernet Controller.  Whenever I come off standby or standby mode, I lose my Internet connection and have to restart my system or run Windows Network Diagnostics to repair the network adapter settings.

I tried several remedies available on Internet; but unfortunately, nothing has resulted in a permanent solution.  I contacted my service provider ISP (Mediacom) wonder if it was / is a problem with the firmware used to my cable modem SBV5220 support (for example, incompatibility with Vista) and they said there is no.  So far, I have:

    1. Reinstalled NIC driver.
    2. Power options controlled and reset with USB CDC.
    3. Apply the update for Windows Vista (default gateway setting is lost) for x 64 systems (KB933872) - response that update does not apply to the system.
    4. Reset the IP configuration via the Cmd line.
    5. Tab power, unchecked the box that shuts down the adapter then power save comes into play.

Access the computer several times a day and having to reset Internet connections became extremely aggravating.  I hope there is a solution.  Thanks in advance for your help.

Back from a 3 week stay, during which my office has been extinguished, my local internet connection would come is no longer active when he came out of hibernation.  The without line worked, but the local connection would not work unless physically, I unplugged the cable from the router (Netgear) and reinserted it.

After several days of frustration, I went into the Manager of devices, unchecked ethernet optional adapter "allow the computer to turn off this device."
This seems to have cleared up the problem, at least until now...

  • Satellite A300-146 - any internet connection freezes

    Hello world

I have a problem. When I connect to the internet after about 10-20 minutes, I am unable to work with the browser. When I tried to use the ping command, everything was OK. But the browser don't refresh not all web pages, don't open new pages etc. BUT download works OK.

I tried: the 3G (mobile phone) connection via an Express card, LAN and WLAN connection. Always the same.

I tried: IE included in my OS, Firefox, Google Chrome, Opera. Always the same.

Sometimes the connection icon shows that the zone of confidence is available. When I double click the icon and try to find the problem, the problem (after 10 seconds) is fixed by himself, BUT the browser still has these problems (written above). And if I close the browser (I can close regularly) and try to open it again, I can't open it (it is said that it already works, but does not, I can't remove it process).

Sing the Vista Home premium (preinstalled).
    Any help?
    Thank you!

    Hello

Do you mean that the internet connection freezes or the internet browser has no answer?

Probably the essential WLan/LAN drivers are not installed properly.
Do you have problems with the internet connection using WLAN and LAN?

I recommend you to check if the correct drivers have been installed.
